Hotel Villa Lubrense in Massa Lubrense

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Villa Lunense. The views were absolutely stunning and perfect for photos, and the swimming pool was amazing. The hotel was cozy, peaceful, and the staff were professional and very helpful.

A lovely little village with a beach and restaurants is just a 10-minute walk down the cliff from the hotel. Just note that the path has little to no lighting at night.

The 6 of us had the pleasure of staying at this amazing villa for 3 nights last week. We had an absolutely incredible time! The hostess Carla was lovely and wow, can she prepare a wonderful breakfast! The rooms were very spacious and modern, the pool was heated, and the laundry was very convenient. Highly recommended!

I cannot emphasize how good of a find this was. Clean beautiful property. All the staff was truly amazing, and they were supportive in anything we had requested. We will definitely come back, this is our new favorite vacation spot.

Ps. Since there is one main road, rent a scooter or a small car if you want to visit the beautiful area.

We spent two nights at Hotel Villa Lubrense, and loved it! Beautiful room with a beautiful view, a bit away from the busy-ness of the city. The hotel is about 10-15 minutes outside of Sorrento city center (I’d recommend renting a car or taking a taxi from the Sorrento station—it’s a bit challenging to get to from public transport) and only 5 minutes from Massa Lubrense, a small town with quaint shops and a few restaurants. This place gives you a more local, less touristy feel! Service at the hotel was excellent. Staff was helpful in recommending local activities and giving tips. Definitely go for a breakfast-included package—you’ll get a lovely meal with beautiful ocean views. Tino and Fabiola were so wonderful!

We are a Canadian couple who recently travelled to Puglia, Our first stay was at the Villa Pina in Santo Spirito for 3 nights and was excellent. Massimiliano is a very thoughtful and kind host. He is very proud of his Villa and rightly so. The accommodation was lovely. This is a new property in a lush setting with gardens. Our room was spacious with all necessary amenities. The outside patio was a bonus for evening visits. Breakfast was very good and Massimiliano prepared eggs if requested. Only a short walk to Santo Spirito and the sea. Restaurants and shops in the small town. A local bus ride takes you to Bari city centre.l

Let's start with the fact that this is a hotel, and therefore has its own excellent restaurant with Italian dishes and good service. I immediately decided to have dinner there, because the views of the sea and Capri enchanted me. The portions were small, but everything was delicious. At Villa Pina, an Italian breakfast (everything in sufficient quantity on a separate table), which, nevertheless, stunned with its variety. These include strawberries, watermelon, pears and eggs, several cheeses and prosciutto salami, not to mention juice, croissants, jam, honey and pancakes.
The hotel is located on the central road leading from Sorrento, has its own parking lot and a bus stop nearby. Here you will see not a typical classic hotel, but a villa in the countryside and feel the spirit of a real cozy Italian countryside. The entire first floor, where there is a lobby bar and a living room with armchairs and a TV, is decorated with all kinds of plates, bottles, ceramics, forged lamps, and old furniture. I would even like to stay another day to look at all these details and decorations of the villa, if not for the busy schedule of the onward journey. Everything is so homely, cozy, it is clear that this is a family business.
On the roof there is a fantastic panoramic terrace with sunbeds, a jacuzzi and tables, with picturesque views of Capri. The room was clean, there were plenty of towels, and there were shower gels. In general, everything is fine, but the Internet did not work. From the balcony, it is pleasant to watch the sunset, look at the lemon terraces and all those well-kept groves of Massa Lubrense. My family and I were satisfied with the reception, service and time spent here.

Basic rooms with old decor and tiled floors but very clean. Room 107. White towels changed every day and comfy clean bedding. Bed hard however. Bathroom big, large shower area. Large windows overlooking the sea and Capri. Good soundproofing as you don't hear the traffic from the busy road. We brought our own kettle and cups for an early morning brew. Meals served in the lovely restaurant over the road, so you need your wits about you when crossing. The hotel is family-run, could do with renovation but if you want an authentic Italian experience with a clean room and good food then I would recommend this hotel. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.
