Hotel Villa Fiorita

Lovely hotel, breathtaking views (day & night) over Gulf of Sorrento and Vesuvius. Our room (balcony no. 06) room/bathroom clean and fresh. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast: good variety - hot and cold food. Plenty of fresh fruit, breads, pastries & cakes. Ate dinner one night on terrace restaurant - food/dessert fresh and delicious served by friendly girl with perfect English. Pool/jacuzzi area - the same stunning views over the bay. Shuttle bus is a great asset running every hour and takes approx. 15/20 minutes to city with a break mid-day. One particular driver (evening driver) very friendly and good humoured. The hotel suited us perfectly - peaceful and relaxing and away from the city. Sara was particularly friendly, pleasant and helpful as was the evening receptionist man. Other staff were also nice albeit a bit quiet - being Irish we love engagement :) The hotel very kindly sent a driver to pick us up as we arrived in the city outside of the hotel bus shuttle times - much appreciated. On the down side: bathroom a little small - shower might need updating. wi-fi not very strong. Steps down to hotel from the road and also down to some rooms and up to pool/terrace areas - this was not a problem for us but we mention it here in case it’s helpful. We didn’t notice a lift in hotel but there might be one - we didn’t check as we didn’t need it. We would recommend this hotel.

Fab view from the top of the hotel but I would say it is very remote, great if you want to get away from it all but quite a way to the town, they do provide a free bus service but it is restricted by the time available. The atmosphere at the hotel is very quiet and it feels as though the staff are afraid to talk to you.

A charming hotel about a 20 to 30 min shuttle ride from Sorrento. Escape the crowds and enjoy the views and serenity! Such a well cared for hotel and the restaurant was above our expectations! So glad we chose this hotel for our stay in Sorrento.

The villa was on the mountain but they do have shuttle bus from Sorrento to the hotel .the view is good but the Wifi was quite bad🙃

great views from this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast spread was good. location is a little far from city center, but they had shuttles running constantly. Email them quite a number of times and they were very prompt with their replies.

We had a fantastic stay at the lovely Hotel Villa Fiorita after a hectic week in Rome. Perched in the hills above the town of Sorrento, the hotel boasts breathtaking views, a quiet setting, and a gracious staff. We loved that the hotel was small and family run. Everyone we encountered was helpful and kind; we felt so welcomed. Giovanni at the front desk helped us out of a stressful situation when our return transportation to the Rome airport fell thru at the last minute. He stepped us thru everything we needed to do and even had the hotel give us a ride to the train station so we wouldn't miss our train. We were truly treated as friends. Our room was on the lower level and had an ample terrace which enabled us to enjoy the view even more. The amenities in the room were great including an updated bathroom with a large shower. The daily breakfast was delicious and offered a nice variety along with options to take in that beautiful view. We opted for dinner one night at the hotel as we wanted a low key option at the end of the day; both the food and service were great. At first, we were a little concerned that the hotel required a shuttle to get to town, but we quickly fell in love with the hotel's quiet setting. It was a welcomed respite each night after a busy day along the coast. The shuttle was convenient, timely, and easy to use. When traveling to another country, it's such a relief to be treated with kindness and hospitality as you navigate so many new things. We were thoroughly impressed with everything about the Hotel Villa Fiorita and hope to return someday!

They are family operated business. Very accommodating and they are so helpful with the info about all the attractions in the Amalfi coast. The view of the bay of Sorrento was spectacular. They’re restaurant had great food and service. The rooms were very clean.

Very nice hotel located about 15-20' from Sorrento City. Excellent view of the Sorrento bay and the town. The staff was very friendly and kind and tried their best to accommodate us On a negative note this is a basic hotel quite far from the Sorrento city and the free bus is neither frequent nor at convenient times The room was also decent but nothing more than this

It was our first trip to the area and we didnt want to be in Sorrento. We found Villa Fiorita and were so glad we did. The view is gorgeous. We were in room 12 which had a balcony. Morning coffee with the sun rise!!! The room was a little small but fully functional. Plenty of plugs. Bathroom was also good with tub/shower. Great water pressure. Everything was very clean. Housekeeping did a great job. A nice breakfast buffet each morning with plenty of options. We had dinner twice at the hotel. We ordered from the set menu. 3 course for only $23!! The pasta is fresh made and was excellent!! Our server Isabella was wonderful. The other great things were that the front desk/conceierge staff was extremely helpful and made excellent recommendations for us. Free valet parking!!! And the free bus down to Sorrento which basically was running every hour (check the schedule). All in all it was really a great place to stay and was a perfect jumping off point to go to Sorrento, Vesuvius/Pompeii, or Amalfi. We would definitely stay there again on a return visit.
