Grand Hotel President in Sorrento

Room was excellent, spotless, facilities were very good. Balcony had amazing views. Breakfast was good. Dining staff very helpful. One receptionist was abrupt and after failing to return our documents was offhand. Shuttle to and from Sorrento was a huge bonus. Would return , recommended.

The hotel has beautiful scenery, the sea view is amazing, the food is delicious, I like breakfast and ordering, the most important thing is that there is a free shuttle bus, I booked several nights, it is very convenient to go back and forth to the hotel every day, which is suitable for us Chinese, there are singers singing in the hotel at night, the price is similar to that outside, it is good

I personally think this is the most cost-effective hotel in Sorrento. The price is very suitable, and the view from the small balcony is simply first-class. I love watching the sunrise here!
The hotel is right on the cliff and you need to drive yourself or take the hotel shuttle bus to get up. You need to pay attention to the hotel shuttle bus, which is very punctual. If you miss it, transportation will be troublesome if you don't drive.
The downside is that the soundproofing in the room is not very good, and it is easy to hear the conversations of the neighbors.

I had an incredible stay at the Grand Hotel President in Sorrento! From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional. I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a private villa, which offered stunning views of the coast—absolutely breathtaking. The villa itself was immaculate and spacious, with every detail thoughtfully taken care of.

The food at the hotel’s restaurant was outstanding. The menu had a separate vegetarian section, and every dish I tried was delicious. The quality of the ingredients and the presentation were top-notch. The staff at the restaurant were attentive and friendly, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.

I also have to mention the cleanliness of the hotel, which was impeccable throughout. The staff was always around to assist, and their knowledge of English made everything seamless. The entire experience was incredibly relaxing, and I truly felt like I was in the best hands. Highly recommend this hotel if you're ever in Sorrento—definitely a five-star experience!

Amazing hotel with stunning views over Sorrento! Service was excellent and wifi was fast. The rooms are spacious and for the price we paid it was fantastic value! We stayed there for 3 nights and wish we could have been there longer. Only complaint is the pool is cold water only!

Also cause it’s out of town they provide shuttle bus for free until very late til 11pm which is awesome.

Highly recommend for your stay in Amalfi Coast!

Our recent stay at the Grand Hotel President on the outskirts of Sorrento was a very pleasant experience. The hotel is very well appointed and Antonio and his team were charming and professional. There is a good choice of food with three course options in the evening. The room was spacious, comfortable, well furnished and cleaned daily to a very high standard by housekeeper Maria Grazie. The hotel is situated on the cliffs above Sorrento but there is an hourly shuttle bus service into town that takes about 15 minutes, or a paved footpath for the more energetic guests! We are looking forward to the next visit.

Just spent a fabulous week here with two girlfriends, the room, though tired, was amply big enough for the three of us, the beds were comfortable and the views were spectacular.
We went half board, there was an excellent choice of food, the portions are huge, especially the starters and we never had a bad meal, great selection at breakfast with the lightest omelette I’ve ever eaten.I reckon I’ve come back 4 stone heavier!!
As for the staff, you couldn’t ask for better, SO friendly and obliging.
