Shower in room very tiny. Very clean and excellent staff
The staff was very hospitable. The room was very clean. There are convenient stores that you can walk to. The poo is gorgeous! I would definitely recommend Hotel Selene.
Our stay was great. We only stayed one night as we were just passing through. Had dinner in restaurant in the hotel. The breakfast had a good selection. Everyone was very friendly. Our air conditioner was not working the greatest but with us only being there for one night it was ok. We told front desk at check out and she contacted maintenance to have a look at it. Over all great clean place and...
Well, might be the most spacious and modern hotel I have visited so far. Breakfast is good, equipment outstanding, room and bathroom are really spacious, there's even electric sun blind in the room. And there are really tall trees at the parking space to relly block out the sun, what else ca you ask for? Can be lack of some personal touch on this kind of corporate hotels, but I don't mind at all.
Don't get me wrong - at 64 euros per night I did not expect much from this hotel. The reason why we stayed there is because we needed to be closer to FCO airport for an early flight and also because it is 5 mins away from Castel Romano outlets. The area around is nothing spectacular. The hotel itself looks like it was a large, 4 solid star hotel that was used for conferences but those days are long...
Hotel molto ben organizzato. Cibo ottimo e atmosfera giusta.Incredibile ordine e precisione.

Access to tourist attractions is good.
The staff were friendly and helpful, even though I don't speak English well.
I booked a queen room, but it was small for the price.
I thought I had booked a room with a bathtub, but unfortunately it didn't come with one.
The shower head has few holes and is thin, making it difficult to wash. Even with high water pressure, it still hurts the parts of my body that...
The location is great, not far from the subway station and various attractions. The room is a bit small, but it's enough.
Great location, friendly staff
The hotel is in a convenient location, popular locations are on average 20-25 minutes walk away.
Breakfast is excellent, a wide variety of dishes and very tasty pastries!
The best hotel to visit in Rome
There is a bus stop in front of the hotel.
It is a direct bus to the Vatican and Central Station.
You can also walk to the Trevi Fountain, Santa Maria Basilica, and Piazza di Spagna.
The rooms are clean and you can sleep quietly at night.

The hotel is well located, very close to Roma Termini and Santa Maria Maggiore and staff took great care of us.
Breakfast options were fresh. Room was comfortable once I figure out the AC systems. I like the fact that is within walking distance from the train station.
Simone provided excellent customer service! He was welcoming, kind, attentive and provided some great points on our itinerary. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
The room was quite comfortable, and the location was excellent and safe.
I'm from Taiwan and traveling on my own 🧳with a conference in tow. The staff at this hotel were incredibly friendly, helping me carry my luggage to my room and explaining how to use the door lock. Breakfast was served at a partner restaurant next door, and the food was quite acceptable. The hotel is in a great location, less than a 5-8 minute walk from Rome Station. Great location, very convenient, and friendly staff. The breakfast wasn't very diverse and was a bit cold, but the view was fantastic.
The service staff at checkout were not very friendly. Many of the room facilities were broken and quite outdated. The breakfast was rather monotonous, and you couldn't even get your own coffee. The service quality varied greatly depending on the staff member.
The location is excellent, and although it's a 40-year-old establishment, the rooms have a more classic design. It's very safe to stay here when traveling alone, and the overall experience is superb.
It was so convenient because it was close to tourist attractions!! I will definitely stay here again when I go to the UK! The London bus also runs there so I didn't have to walk much!
Excellent location.
Small rooms, as in all of Europe. Excellent breakfasts with a view of Santa Maria Maggiore.
Polite staff. Clean. The room was missing an information booklet, pens, paper, etc.
Of course, the location is the only reason it's a four, but everything is excellent.
I recommend it.
The most convenient location, just opposite Santa Maria di Maggiore and 7-10 minutes walk to Roma Termini and metro. Several bus stops nearby - we use buses to go to Colosseo, Borgese, piazza Navova, and metro for Vatican. Terrific view form breakfast terrace and good breakfast too - there were even several types of milk (regular, lactose free and soy). Surprisingly big bathroom and shower for the...

The hotel is very close to the station, and there's a big supermarket right in front. The facilities are clean, and the staff are all very friendly. If I go to Rome again, this hotel is definitely my first choice.
Nice hotel and clean modern rooms. We chose it because of it proximity to the train station and the hop on buses. Breakfast is nice and has enough variety to fill you up. The rooms are very clean and well equipped. 4 star for location because it is a bit noisy due to the rail station across the road.
This stay was unpleasant. The facilities were extremely poor, completely different from the hotel photos I booked. After showering, the shower curtain soaked into my skin, and even pushing it off didn't help; I felt even dirtier afterward. I had to leave the shower curtain off and try to direct the water towards the wall. Showering left me feeling exhausted. The toilet flush was also broken; water...
The hotel was clean and the staff helped us with all of our needs and was super easy to locating the metro, train, and buses very good spot to public transit and was super easy to locate pretty good food spots and wasn’t too far from the Colosseum! A tad far to walk to other tourist spots but after getting the hang of public transit, it can be easier just time consuming! As for the hotel itself it...
Nice hotel located only 100m from the Termini, although not on a nice street, lots of weird people wondering around at any hour, specially at night can get heavy.
The rooms are neat and clean, spacious and just about right. The bathroom very clean, AC works like a charm.
Breakfast was always the same, eggs, ham and some pastries. Coffee was horrible as in most hotels. Staff is friendly.
we had a really enjoyable stay at this hotel for our two night stay in Rome. The room itself was massive & had everything we needed. The bathroom was also massive which was great. A great place to stay in Rome! 😊 The staff is welcoming, smiling, and warm. good location near remini station train , surrounded by restaurant
Location is great and close to all the sights. Staff is very pleasant. It is an old hotel and seems it is time for a renovation but it has its charm. I booked this hotel as it was within walking distance to a conference venue nearby. Suitable for business, although the subway is not close by walking distance, but the price is good. The distance to the surrounding attractions is acceptable
If there is no taxi, it is very inconvenient. If you are a free traveler who walks a lot, it is difficult to take the subway because the area gets dark quickly in the winter and the shopping district is far away. However, there is breakfast and dinner in the hotel and the accommodation was clean. The staff seemed busy. I want to stay there again next time.
The room is relatively small, the facilities are simple, the surrounding environment is good, and the water bar service is very good
Traveling to Rome, I unexpectedly booked this Ibis, which is exceptionally good value. It is less than a kilometer walk from the subway. The hotel is next to a quiet community on a high ground. Good location. Good service and good in everything
The room is newly decorated and well-equipped.
The hotel is located near the Vatican, and it is very convenient to walk to the Vatican Basilica and the museum. The subway station is a little distance away, and it is more convenient to take the bus. Recommended!
There's nothing good to say about foreign hotels. They cost thousands a night, the rooms are small, and the facilities are outdated. The good hotels are in China!
Book it before your trip. The price is relatively cost-effective in the local area.
Excellent hotel near the Vatican. The service provided was excellent. The rooms are different from North American standards but still very good.

3 mins walk from Rome Termini for easy access to plenty of food and shopping.
The water for the free tea /my cup porridge @ wasn’t hot in the 2nd evening . May be I was too early.

This hotel is perfect for a weekend at the beach but not the most convenient for trips into Rome. This is not a fault of the hotel, but my own problem as I should have researched it better. They do have a shuttle to the airport which is 5.3km away. 25 euro for 2 people to the airport. That was good compared to a taxi or Uber which both were over 35 euro when we needed it. Otherwise a very nice hotel...
The property was clean.
The neighborhood was safe. Plenty of restaurants and a supermarket close to the property. The staff were excellent at helping us with questions. There was a variety of food for breakfast.
appreciated the airport pickup when we flew in late. The hotel is nothing special, but it gets the job done for needing a hotel near the airport. Would recommend as an inexpensive option for travelers out of Rome airport.
This hotel was safe, quiet and convenient to the airport with friendly, helpful staff that helped with transportation needs.
Excellent in all aspects! And the hotel staff was more than friendly and helpful. Top marks!
I visited this place a day early, and not only was the staff incredibly friendly, but the hotel-level interior was also excellent, so I'm leaving feeling completely satisfied. They even provided airport pick-up service, including a bus fare. I was very satisfied with this place.

Absolute gem of a place only 300 metres from the railway station. I arrived very early for a two day stay (around 9:30 am) and the super friendly reception gave me an early check-in which on a rainy day in Rome was fantastic… the hotel has large rooms which are very quite, excellent bed and fantastic shower in both pressure and temperature which is hard to find in Rome centre. Very close to train station, location is perfect! Room space is bigger than expected and clean will come back next time !
Reasonably priced hotel close to train station and transport hub which was a bonus. Our room was clean but the en- suite was tiny. We were on the second floor and street noise was a bit annoying. Breakfast was pleasant enough with plenty of choice, although there wasn't much hot food if that's your preference.
Staff were friendly and service was good
We stayed here for 3 nights in September. We had a large pretty room with a large closet and bathroom. Service was awesome, from the front desk - thanks Francesca! - to the doormen! The hotel restaurant had good food and exceptional service.
Enjoyed my stay at this 4 star hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Single room was spacious enough. Clean. Very close to the termini station for trains/metro/buses.

Our first night in Italy was spent at this hotel near the airport. Despite its proximity, it was surprisingly quiet. The triple room was a bit small, but breakfast started at 6 AM with a great variety of options. It's an excellent hotel for a layover and definitely worth considering.
Nice little hotel that's near to Fiumicino airport. There's bus stop just outside the hotel to get to ostia town..
This hotel is amazing. It comes with a shuttle to the airport. Please make sure you download the map and ask how to locate the shuttle.
Check in was very easy. The room is wonderful and comfortable. It’s also very quiet.
The food is delicious as well. The coffee is fresh. I enjoyed my stay in the hotel.
Thank you again. I appreciate it.
Good location if needing to stay near the airport
Great breakfast
Shuttle was expensive with hidden taxes when you could use public transport to be dropped outside of hotel
Pool is clean
AC didn’t work in two rooms (we booked 2 rooms)
Wonderful stay at the hotel - professional staff at the reception desk and check in was seamless. Hotel is very impressive and beautiful grounds . Good spread for breakfast and it was really value for money. Would highly recommend this hotel . We stayed for one night to catch an early flight out of Rome so proximity to the airport was really convenient. T
Even though we were staying on Christmas Eve, everything was functioning and the staff was very helpful. We checked in at around 2 pm at no additional cost. Moreover, we were leaving at 3 am and they were kind enough to offer us a box breakfast to take away. Unfortunately, there was no shuttle service at this time and it was not easy to get a taxi.

Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night, would have loved to stay longer. The room was excellent, location 10 minute walk from Stazione Termini. Comfortable but rather dark room.
Bathroom in a terrible state!
No changing room for the pool, the water was cold.
The restaurant was rather average!
In short, disappointed, for a 4-star hotel.

Only dissapointment was no kettle in the room and no room service thus no hot drink when you need to leave early.
