Lazio, Rome, Via Matteo Boiardo, 30, Esquilino 🧭 Map
Room is clean and bright. The hotel location just 7mins walk from metro. The station is really closed to the main attraction like the colosseum. Those it is near the metro, it is very quiet as there are no restaurants 200m from it. Not much shops in this area. The only one bad comment is the breakfast. Not much hot cooked food. Only cheap hams. Mostly are bread and fruit. It cost 14 euro.
Roma was very good and this hotel close to the historical places.
The hotel was very nice and the staff were extremely helpful, it was also only a short walk from the colosseum and had a great little gelato place just down the street. I would highly recommend staying here
On arrival, we were greeted by an abrupt Indian staff. Poor customer relations skills.
Overall, the hotel locations were excellent. We were able to reach the hotel from the train station by bus, followed by a short walk. The neighborhoods felt safe and clean, which added to our comfort. Although we had read earlier reviews mentioning unfriendly staff, our experience was quite the opposite — the reception and restaurant teams were genuinely warm and welcoming. Ms. Rosa and another gentleman...
The location of the hotel is excellent, with the tram right outside and the Colosseum only about five minutes away. The price is also very reasonable for what you get. Breakfast was one of the highlights, served as a buffet with plenty of variety and good quality options. Considering the cost, it feels like a very good value and makes the stay convenient and comfortable. The rooms, however, could...

good location, very close to central train, but a bit old building,
The location was great, the breakfast was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. The gym facilities were also good, and the luggage storage service was truly excellent. I would love to stay here again.
Conveniently located very close to Rome Termini station, with plenty of dining options nearby. The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. However, the window opened onto a corridor, which made the room feel a bit stuffy. A big plus, though, was the provision of disposable slippers.
Excellent location. The breakfast was quite average, and the options were the same every day.
The hotel was very close to the train station. While the street appeared noisy, it was extremely convenient for dining and transportation. The hotel hallways were incredibly narrow, barely wide enough for one person. It was impossible to turn around with luggage, which made me question if they met fire safety regulations. The service from the front desk staff was mediocre. She overcharged us by 5 euros...
Before booking, I wondered if reviews might be subjective due to varying guest needs. However, after staying here, I found that Ctrip's ratings are generally accurate and objective! Firstly, this hotel is truly close to Rome Termini train station, just a stone's throw away, which is incredibly convenient if you need to take a train. On the downside, the hotel facilities are indeed quite old, and the...

Good place to stay for a night. Nice breaskfat and gentle people working there
breakfast is the weak point of this place. It can offer more choice, but it is really basic instead.
Precious place! The bathroom smelled really bad. Be prepared for a 1km walk if you get there by train.
breakfast is included which offers a lot of variety…
An Italian palace The Hotel is beautiful and architect designed, We feel like a palace. We had a large room for family and we enjoyed the hotel landscape. Breakfast bufet was very simple and boring for 4 day stay because all days was same. Staff were frindly and kind. Thanks for accomidate us in Rome.

The room was quite clean and tidy, but a bit small, and the desk was tiny too. The indoor lighting was too dim, and the soundproofing wasn't great. Breakfast was decent, though the stir-fried vegetables were too salty. The location was very convenient, just a few minutes' walk to Tetmini train station. I'd still stay here again next time.
Booked this stay for our photographers and they love the stay here! Super convenient to access around ROME
Excellent hotel. Everything perfect. Good service, best location and plenty of nice restaurants around.
The room wasn't huge, but the high ceilings made it feel spacious, and the decor was very tasteful. All the staff were incredibly friendly and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The location was excellent, very close to both the train station and the subway.
value for money. accommodating staff. excellent service.
The receptionist was very kind and funny, and gave us lots of candy! The room was spacious, the breakfast was delicious, and it was great with easy access to Termini Station and the city center! I'd love to stay here again if I have the opportunity!

The room was okay but aircon was extremely noisy and need upgrading.
The location is great, and the keyless entry with a password lock is quite modern. The room is spacious, clean, and tidy. The only minor drawback is that the lighting isn't very strong, making the room a bit dark at night. Overall, it's pretty good.
Great location near the Vatican, with plenty of restaurants and dining options close by. However, for the price we paid, basic amenities such as toothbrushes and an adequate supply of shower gel should have been provided in enough quantity. Additionally, the housekeeping was inconsistent, and the towel changes were not done reliably.
Orange Hotels is located right next to the Vatican—just a 5-minute walk away. There are several bus stops nearby, making it easy to reach other attractions such as Castel Sant’Angelo and Trastevere. It’s also very close to the Tiber River. We really enjoyed our stay here. Although many hotels in Rome feel a bit dated, the service and staff here were exceptional. They even upgraded our room for free...
The location is excellent. But anything else no. They had a heating problem, you could not stop the heat and it was hot. No amenities. Hair dryer not working, no showers gel, no shower head 🚿 and no shower caps, no glasses, coffee or tea, nothing. I asked for shower caps and the receptionists were really kind and helpful, all of them. Also the maids and their coordinator were helpful. But the hotel...

We stayed in early October. It was a very warm week. We arrived to the hotel, checked in, and then as we were about to walk to the room, the man at the desk said "i have to tell you the air conditioner is not working." We only stayed two nights, but they were very warm nights. It was too noisy to open the windows and extremally uncomfortable with them closed. They did find us a fan for the second evening...
Reasonable price for an economy double room we booked literally last minute when we had already arrived in Rome! The room was of great space even though it was the economy one. It was clean and the towels were changed twice on a three-day stay. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Stayed in August 2017, very convenient to trains and metro! Stayed one night before going on a 11 day Mediterranean cruise. Polite and courteous staff.
Comfortable and clean, big rooms. Very well located. Professional and friendly staff. Highly recommended
Good breakfast, good location for visit Tivoli and Florence.
Have no problems with this hotel, was what we expected for the price (which was fair for the convenience of the location). Clean rooms, fine size, air conditioning worked fine, clean bathroom, pleasant decor (older style decor but well maintained and a style I quite like). Great staff who seem to put up with whiny tourists with aplomb. Would stay here again.

Outstanding Absolutely wonderful. Staff are so friendly and helpful. After what has been a bit of a hell trip this hotel has made up for it on the last couple of days. I have even booked for a couple more nights Outstanding
A good place to stay The hotel is very nice. Good aesthetics, very clean. The only thing I didn't quite like was that the breakfast menu didn't change, the same meal everyday. Asides this, it was a good one. The room was cleaned daily, the food tasted great, area was secured.

The room was spacious but seem cold. The breakfast was terrible.
We loved the hotel, the only problem was the air conditioning. It barely worked. We found it difficult to sleep because it was so hot.
Hidden Gem in Italy We had an amazing stay at this lovely hotel. The most perfect stay when you want to wind down and enjoy your holiday. It is only a 5 minute drive to Viterbo with amazing restaurants. We will definitely be back to this lovely hotel and staff in the future.
BE CAREFUL with this hotel, I couldn't make my trip, and instead of taking out 1 night as a no-show, they took out all the nights from my credit card (a large amount). I communicated with the hotel and explained my situation and asked for a solution that would be fair to both sides, but without any effect. So they were able to double-book the room. The hotel is in a very nice, quiet and upper class neighborhood. The staff is very helpful too. The hotel is old, well decorated (although all decor is old and is crying out for an uplift). Beautiful hotel on the 5th floor has an outdoor terrace. Communicative reception (English). Room not huge, but quite comfortable. Breakfast was good(cheese, ham, yoghurt, muesli, fruit, cakes) Prestigious quiet area. Near bus stop.
Reviewing this as a genuine guest. After a few days here we've seen all the major sites in Rome apart from the Vatican, which is next. Sumptuous breakfast buffet, great location in a residential neighborhood, beautiful old grand building with marble stairs and large comfortable rooms. You'll still run into the hotel owner at breakfast, cheerful and doting as ever. Metro and bus stops a couple of blocks away.
Great location, walking distance to all main attractions, close to the metro station which we took to take us to the Colosseum. Stuff are so helpfull. Rooms are clean. Perfect breakfast and perfect coffee. Negatives; rooms are not silent. We can hear other peoples talking, or other bathrooms sound as flushing etc. Room was very cold at nights.
We visited the hotel last year on our yearly trip to Rome, outstanding breakfast, i think the best continental breakfast we ever had - Rooms where according to expectation see you soon Giulio Cesare!
Amazing place to stay near Vatican. The breakfast buffet is amazing. There are a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. This is a place I'd revisit.
Decent hotel especially for the price. Not in the center of the action bit not that far away. Very nice breakfast and the bar is wonderful. Walls are a bit thin.
Lovely hotel in a lovely location in Rome. We ran into the owner of the hotel outside the building and he was so generous and charming as he welcomed us. Our room was phenomenal, clean and very snazzy yet having an old world charm to it. The complementary breakfast was to die for, the best I've had in my stay in Italy. Would definitely stay in this hotel again

This restaurant is a true gem. They offer fresh, authentic Italian fare with a menu full of great food options that never disappoint. But while the food is fantastic, the standout feature—and the singular reason I remain a loyal, returning patron—is Anna, the Maitre Di Sala. Anna is the gold standard for front-of-house service. She consistently transforms a simple meal into an exceptional experience...

The hotel is a 15-minute walk from the train station. It's also not far from the Basilica of Our Lady. The hotel facilities are average, similar to a Hanting Hotel in China. The breakfast is also just average. The pizza place nearby, run by Africans, is quite good.

It's amazing! It's right next to Rome Station! There's a bar on the rooftop at night, making it very convenient to various attractions! The room was also very nice! I didn't expect Europe to be so affordable. It's better to go to Italy than Hong Kong! Apart from the airfare, Italy is much more cost-effective than Hong Kong and Macau in other aspects.

We had a great stay at Raeli Hotel Lux. The location is very convenient, and the room was clean and well-maintained. The staff was helpful, and the facilities met all our needs during the trip. It’s a solid and comfortable choice for a stay here.
Great location, good staff and lots of options for meals nearby
The room size was just right. Although it's a bit old, it's very well-maintained. There were no strange smells from the bathroom or anything. The hotel was also very responsive to our needs. The service was genuinely excellent.
The hotel is located in the embassy district with guards at the intersections, which made us feel very safe. However, it's a bit of a walk from Termini, not particularly close. The room was on the smaller side. It's a good option if the price is right, but I wouldn't recommend it if it's too expensive. The service attitude was good, and they have 24-hour front desk service.
This hotel is situated not far from the main railway station. From the hotel it’s very easy walk to the many sites of Rome. The hotel allowed us to check in a little earlier which enabled us to use the hop on off bus
The location very close to Rome Terminal Bus and train station, allow you to go any part of Italy. The room is not that big but very clean with budgeted allowance.

We really like our room. It has a king size bed and large bathroom. If I have any con, it would be that they do not have coffee in the room. During our trip in Europe, most hotels have at least had a hot water kettle. They only had one key for the room and were unable or unwilling to make another. Not a bad hotel at all. The rooms are small for the price but they are well appointed and very clean. The bar is very limited in drink selection and closed early on a Friday. The location of this hotel was perfect. There was a side entrance to the Palestine Hill and colosseum which NEVER had a line.
