Hotel Pineta Palace, Rome1 / 22
8.5
Lazio, Rome, Via S. Lino Papa, 35, Primavalle 🧭 Map
Gret hospitality, everything is clean and calm Quite far from the city center but it is good value for the money
Pineta Palace Hotel in Rome lands squarely in the “average but workable” category — the kind of place that gets the job done without ever trying to impress. It’s a practical choice if you’re looking for simple accommodations outside the city center and don’t mind trading convenience for value. The rooms are straightforward and clean, with the basic comforts you expect: a decent bed, adequate space...
Hotel in a quiet part of Rome, 15-minute taxi ride to the Vatican for €15. Large room – junior suite on the 7th floor (711) with a view of the whole of Rome. Perfect value for money! Breakfast with delicious coffee served by the staff. I recommend it.
Hotel staff were very courteous and helpful. I had to extend my stay at this hotel for three more nights because I had a fracture of my right elbow during sightseeing in Florence a couple of days ago which was diagnosed only in Rome. I was looked after so well by the the hotel staff particularly Antonio of the front desk during my extended stay. Unforgettable experience.
The hotel is located in a residential area, so shopping nearby is inconvenient. The environment and cleanliness are very good. There is 24-hour security, so safety is guaranteed.
Antonio at the front desk was truly an angel for my father. After my 72-year-old father had an accidental fall while on vacation in Rome, Antonio took exceptional care of him. Being so far away, we were extremely worried, as my father was all by himself, but Antonio went above and beyond his duties - he arranged the hospital visit, ensured my father was well cared for, and supported him throughout...

We had a great experience here. We booked a last minute room and due to a late flight into Rome, we had to check in at 2am. A staff member was at the desk at that time to greet us and check us in. The room was beautiful. Very clean and modern. Just FYI we found it very expensive to taxi to here from the airport considering how close it is.
We loved this hotel. Very clean and modern only stayed for the day before our flight. Shortish walk to beach and restaurants. Close to little supermarket. Great to relax
Used for airport transfer, good service and high cost performance.
The room is spacious, but the equipment is a bit old
I stayed at the Hilton Rome Airport Hotel for one night on August 11, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel is very convenient for travelers with early flights, thanks to its strategic location near the terminal. Although some of the moving walkways leading to the airport were out of service, which made the walk with several suitcases a bit tiring, this is not the hotel’s fault, and...
I have absolutely no complaints. The price is high. Other than the price, I have no complaints. It's one of the cheaper hotels in Italy. I was grateful for the shuttle to the airport.

We loved the design of the hotel! 100%of Rome design was totally surprisingly! The breakfast was so so not variety of choice. The location is good 👍
What a misleading ad! The price isn't cheap, and the facilities are old and run-down. So disappointed. The room is tiny, nothing like the pictures. Such a letdown, it's so small... Seriously, don't book old hotels. I passed by so many new and better hotels nearby that weren't even listed on the app. So strange.
This time, I stayed at a hotel that seems to be a popular choice among Chinese travelers, and my overall experience was pretty good. The only downside was the front desk staff's attitude – they were consistently cold and indifferent. There were no greetings when we came and went, and even when we initiated a hello, we only got dismissive responses. What was even more frustrating was the rather large...
Tge location is great.  But the hotel room is very dated.  The room smells so (air vent) so I wouldn’t want to stay there again.
Great location with bus service right in front of hotel and also close to Metro. They are plenty restaurants. Great service
The breakfast was incredibly rich and varied, but the hallways were quite dusty, and the hotel facilities felt a bit dated, especially that elevator that looked like something Li Hongzhang himself would have used back in the day.

I had a great stay for 4 nights. What I liked the most was the staff — their hospitality made the experience one of the best in Rome. Their customer service and attention should be a standard for hotels. Look for Francesca — she’ll make sure you’re well taken care of. 😁 Cleanliness was 5/5, the food was good, and don’t forget to try their orange cake — it’s worth trying. 🧡 The location is a bit...
I really enjoyed my say here. The staff is very helpful and go extra mile if you need assistance in navigating the city. The room was spacious with all the necessary amenities.
wonderful stay! Staff is very friendly, helping, good guidance for Rome/ Vatican sightseeing. Hotel shares free wine bottle with the guests from Booking.com! Hotel is far from Rome downtown, also far (3-4 kms) from subway station. Although hotel provides free pick-up drop shuttle service, you need to adjust your schedule to match the timings.
The entire staff was extremely nice, welcoming and helpful. Especially Jarka who made us feel at home during our stay. This helped our vacation start off on the right foot. Many thanks and happy holidays.
We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Domidea! The room was large, spacious, very clean and well maintained. The location is great – close to a bus stop, which makes it easy to reach the city center. The staff were amazing – very friendly, polite and always ready to help. A special thanks to Ms. Jarka, who was always smiling and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Highly recommended!
Everything is very good except the location. It's quite outside in the city but anything else very good.

We appreciated the helpfulness of staff when we had booking issues. They worked hard to accommodate our family of 6 on a very difficult night (new years eve). They were friendly, helpful and spoke good English. The hotel is also fairly close to the train station which worked well for our family for visiting Rome.
Pulito, ci for the ppl, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Colazione ottima e varia 👍
the room have safe and fridge which was not mentioned in room description
This hotel is a typical hotel for groups and people travelling for business reasons. Located on the Metro C corridor (makes travelling to the city quite easy), the Hotel is really far away from anything. A very basic but busy hotel. Lots of tour groups coming through and only 2 very small lifts to carry a lot of people checking in. The room was clean and quiet. Had a great room for our Rome trip. Within walking distance to many of the enjoyable sites of Rome and the proximity to the train station was perfect. Very friendly staff
What a beautiful hotel in an ideal location. The room was clean and well layed out. We were able to check in immediately. The front desk agent on the day we checked out held our luggage in the back to ensure we were safe from pickpocket, while waiting for our taxi. The breakfast had a large variety of food. The fruit was fresh and the coffee did not taste like regular cheap hotel coffee.
Good location. Friendly service. Shower water pressure not strong. Breakfast is good but the same everyday. It will be nice to have a slight variety. Will be nice for those who stay more days
Hotel is very good, well maintained,.walkable distance from central train station. Staff are very courteous. We arrived in rome early and reached the hotel in expectation to drop our laugage and start exploring the city but the reception desk staff provided an early checkin which was really useful, many thanks to them. Breakfast was very good.
Great location next to termini train station for early flight out of Rome.
The rooms were very nice, clean and spacious and the staff was pleasant and helpful and the location was good. However in my opinion, the breakfast needs A LOT of improvement. For a 4* hotel the breakfast was extremely weak. Barely any warm food, the cold meats and cheese selection was very poor and actually all the rest really needs an upgrade.

Great place! Lovely staff and it’s better in real life the pictures do not do it justice!!!
The hotel is very tired unfortunately (( I was there in 2005. I liked it, so I decided to come back. In comparison: the appearance of everything as a whole has become better, the picture is good. But in the details: cabinets, frames, furniture on the balcony - sad .. The location is VIP, but the content is disappointing. Such responsive guys work at the reception, but they also do not look respectable...
The hotel has a strategic location and a spacious beach. It's not the first time I've been to this property, but this year it's gotten worse in terms of the facilities and services. Staying on the lake side means checking in and out in the main building. You can book a restaurant dinner at reception, but if you dare ask for an outdoor table, you can't choose one unless you go to the restaurant and...
Relaxing weekend in November with still pleasant weather. Breakfast and SPA were to our liking, as well as the cleanliness and services offered by the structure. The fact that it is seafront is a great advantage!

This hotel was the most expensive during my trip to Italy, yet the room was small and the soundproofing was terrible – I could clearly hear noise from the hallway. It's about an 8-9 minute walk from the train station, which is its only real advantage in terms of convenience.
Overall, the room was decent. It's very close to the train station, and there are plenty of food options nearby, which is really convenient. I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next visit. This hotel is worth considering.
Very close to Rome termini, but shower has quite mediocre water pressure.
Just a few minutes' walk from Termini Station and the metro, this hotel is conveniently located near several attractions, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. The staff are warm and professional, offering helpful and thoughtful assistance. While the hotel has some age to it, it's well-maintained.

The hotel was generally good. It's on the outskirts of Rome but very well connected.
My three-night stay was a terrible experience. The room maintenance was appalling. On my first night, two of the three towels were filthy (I don't know if it was blood or feces). I specifically called the front desk to have them replaced, but when I returned the next day, one of the towels was still stained. It was disgusting. The shower drain also had problems; it was repaired twice but the problem...
I expected a much better experience from a hotel advertised as 4-star, especially since it was booked through our tour company. The property is far from the city center, which we did not expect, and the surrounding area isn’t very appealing.
Two and a half plugs!!!! Are kidding?!!!! 4* hotel whose visitors are coming for the exhibition or conference. It would be fine some twenty years ago! It's such a frustration, because the rest was very good. The room itself and the bathroom are spacious. Big TV. The beds are big and very comfortable. Very good pillows as well. Good climate control. Extra pillows and warm and light blanket. Excellent...
Very good location if you want to stay in the fringes of Rome and still want to be close to public transportation. A 20 min ride from the airport . Excellent location, and the rooftop terrace is beautiful, perfect for visiting the Roman Forum and Colosseum area. However, the facilities are a bit old, and there aren't many amenities. The room had a smoke smell, and it wasn't very warm in winter.
The best thing about this hotel is definitely the location, it's super close to the main attractions. The downsides are hard to ignore. The hotel feels very dated. They're using blankets and heavy duvets, which was really uncomfortable. The hot water was a total nightmare, I had to run the tap for at least 5 minutes just to get it warm. We stayed here September 11-18, 2025, in room 81 on the fifth floor. I think some of these reviews are pretty harsh based on our experience. Here’s what was great about it: - The front desk staff were awesome. They...
Well I'm 61 yrs old and I would class this as an older person's hotel there is no bar,no drinks were served on the rooftop terrace including tea or coffee the breakfast is very basic eg scrambled egg, chocolate croissant, grapes or cake. The location is excellent so it's ideal as a place to get your head down and nothing else go with that attitude and you won't be disappointed.
Good hotel in the centre of the town
Hotel with excellent cleanliness and location, and very friendly staff. The only area for improvement is the variety of breakfast options. Additionally, the rooms—especially the bathrooms—could use renovation to match modern hotel standards. Nevertheless, it remains an excellent hotel, with great soundproofing and an exceptional location.

Hotel is well maintained and it feels home. The location is very accessible.
Although the hotel rooms are generally smaller, it is close to the Colosseum, ancient Roman ruins and other historical center attractions, which is very convenient. The hotel was established in the 1960s, and the facilities are relatively old, but the hygiene and service are pretty good. The restaurant on the top floor of the hotel can see the scenic area.
The bed is too small. You have to go up to the second floor and then down to the next floor. The elevator is too small. The overall feeling is like traveling back to the 90s. Hope it can be updated
Great place and location. Overall a classic hotel.
The location is excellent, close to the Forum of Augustus, you can see the Roman Forum from the window, and the restaurant is on the top floor with a good view. It only takes a few minutes to get to the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, the Imperial Forum, Piazza Venezia, and the subway station.
I like it very much. The lobby is warm, the rooms are comfortable, the service is attentive, and the location is great. The Colosseum, Piazza Venezia, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, and Travi Fountain are all within walking distance. I will stay here again next time I come to Rome.

The hotel is modern and the staff are very accommodating. It’s also right next to the beach. If you are going out of season be aware lots of things are closed, especially the restaurants. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the train station, and the rooms are nice. The rooftop bar is a bit pricey, but overall it's a good stay.
Solid 4 Star hotel near Roma Termini with lots of great restaurants around. The hotel room was large with all the basics available. Service was solid although occassionally brusque. The rooms were slightly on the older side but passabe. All in all a solid hotel - missing anything special or extra.
The hotel is relatively new, even better than other five-star hotels in the area. The service is good too. There's a convenience store right next door, and an Asian supermarket about a 7-8 minute walk away, which is quite friendly for Chinese guests as you can buy instant noodles there.

The Hoxton Rome shines with stylish decor, comfortable bedding, and a vibrant terrace bar in the upscale Parioli district. Great location, helpful staff, and relaxed vibe—highly recommended for a chic stay.
We spent 5 nights at the Hoxton for our first ever trip to Italy. It is a very nice hotel withe modern rooms, a nice restaurant with inside and outside seating.
