The stay started off well. The location was good, however, the service went severely downhill after a serious incident and injury occurred in the lobby. All the staff and owner were concerned with was charging a fee and receiving payment, not once were they concerned or inquired into the welfare of the customer at the time of incident or even after the fact. They were only concerned with the premises. Be aware the floors are extremely slippery and can be difficult to walk on and can result in injury.

Our 5-day stay at Nakissa Inn in Rome, Italy was truly a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. We even had the chance to meet the owner, who was incredibly kind and thoughtful—he surprised us by upgrading our room on our third day, which made our stay even more special. The staff were consistently friendly, approachable, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality made us feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout our trip. The location is absolutely perfect—just a 2-minute walk from the Colosseum, and everything is easily walkable from the inn. It made exploring Rome so convenient and enjoyable. Overall, our stay was memorable, relaxing, and filled with genuine warmth. We would definitely recommend Nakissa Inn to anyone visiting Rome and would gladly stay here again in the future.

Be very aware if you book 1 night. I booked in February 2025 Nakissa Inn for 1 night for our stay in October and 3 days before we were cancelled with no explanation. Very poor and super disappointed.

Cozy, yet spacious and clean rooms/bathrooms. Water and snacks in the kitchen area. Roberto had great communication (Whatsapp works great!) and he helped us arrange an airport transfer at a reasonable rate! Got to check in several hours early! Great location with plenty of restaurants and shops close by. (Delizie e Sapori is an excellent option for food and Al CoNosseo has amazing Gelato!) Only a 5 min walk to the Colosseum! There was no TV in the rooms, which wasn't a problem for us. The A/C didn't seem to be working properly, but it wasn't too hot the day we were there so we didn't look into it much or ask about it. There was an unexpected "City tax" that we had to pay in cash. Due to being an older building (as everything is in Rome lol), the walls were pretty noisy. Could hear road construction going on outside the window and could hear the shower/running water in the room next to us.

Horrible owner/manager. We were scheduled to stay for one night, before leaving for a cruise. Unfortunately I had a leg injury 3 days before leaving for our trip. I was unable to walk, and so we had to move our trip back by several weeks. We obviously needed to reschedule the night that we would be staying there. I sent three emails, with no response. Then called several times. Finally when he did answer, he told me he would not transfer our date, nor provide a refund. I explained my circumstances, and he couldn’t have cared less. I asked if he could even provide a partial refund, and he said no. He’s extremely rude. I would not recommend giving this hotel your business.

Nakissa Inn is a great place to stay at. Right in the middle of a busy street full of restaurants and takeaways. The colosseum is literally 5 minutes away and you can see it after walking for 2 minutes. The night life is amazing outside, the air conditioning is perfect in the rooms as well. The only bit about the rooms I didn't like is that the shower temperature is so sensitive but other than that everything is perfect. The shower pressure is amazing. The kitchen has everything, microwave, sugar, 4 types of coffee, 2 types of tea, a kettle, a fridge which is full of water btw. The room is also really fancy with different types of decorations in each room. Everything about this hotel is perfect just not including the shower sensitivity. Loved staying here, I will definitely book here again.

The inn is in a fantastic location . The bed was comfortable , the room was cleaned daily and the staff incredibly helpful. Free tea, coffee and water was available 24/7. I would highly recommend . We will definitely be returning on future visits to Rome.

We knew what to expect before we came. Location was perfect, it was no problem to find the hotel and the land lord was a nice guy. When visiting Rome you are going for the city and the accommodation is a place to sleep.. the landlord gave us the choice of rooms explaining front ones were noisy which we knew in advance so came prepared with ear plugs. I loved sitting at the open window watching the world go by on the busy street enjoying a single malt. The location was perfect for all attractions which we walked to every one. My wife and I are active people and found this no problem. The choice of restaurants was incredible. If I come back to Rome I would return here in a heart beat… special mention to Saro for taking such good care of the rooms. My advice is take gel ear plugs and you’ll hear nothing and the beds are comfy enough to get a good night sleep..

Stayed here for two nights, location wise is perfect, plenty of nearby restaurants and only a 5 minute walk to the colosseum. The downside, bathroom is dated, shower door kept falling off, noisy American tourists banging around at 5am and shouting, no staff on site at that time to be able to deal with it.

Do not pay attention to negative reviews, they have nothing to do with reality. They are left by people who either do not know how to behave themselves, or want too much for little money. The hotel in this area, in the center of Rome, offers excellent service at an affordable price. There were no problems at check-in, as many people write here. The main thing is to warn the host about your arrival time and by your time you will be expected and warmly welcomed. The owner of the hotel is incredibly friendly. Special thanks to him. The rooms are clean and very nicely decorated. There were no problems during the stay. The kitchen also has everything you need for breakfast - croissants, tea, refrigerator. If you have any questions, you can contact the owner and he will help. Thank you so much for your hospitality! We will definitely come back again!
