Hotel Pantheon

We had a change in our travel plans and had to book the closest hotel available. Hotel Pantheon was priced appropriately for the location and the quality of the rooms. The lobby is absolutely beautiful and looks like a museum. Everything was spotless, housekeeping came daily and the air conditioning worked great. If you have any mobility issues, make sure to ask for a room that doesn’t require multiple stairs to get to it. To get to our room there were several very windy and steep staircases (unlike anything I have ever seen!). We are young and active so it was fine, but I can’t imagine many people could easily navigate all these stairs multiple times a day.

Unfortunately, we woke up every morning (around 4-6am) to sound of smashing glass in the alleyways as people began throwing out their glass bottles. This is probably an issue for all hotels in downtown Rome, but if you are a light sleeper this hotel is not for you. We could hear neighbors/people walking or dropping items on the floors above us. We would still recommend this hotel to others wanting to stay near Trevi Fountain/Pantheon however if you want a more quiet night’s sleep you should stay farther outside the city.

Right next to the Pantheon, there are various restaurants downstairs, it's very lively, the hotel is relatively old, and the room type is quite strange. But if you want to be very close to the scenic spot, this is the only way.

The room is next to the Pantheon, and there are many restaurants downstairs, and tourists are everywhere. The hotel building has a history of 300 years, which is very suitable for visiting Rome to see the ancient monuments. The front desk service is very considerate, and they took the initiative to change a big room the next day. In addition, it is recommended to choose breakfast. There are not many varieties, but it is worth it and the taste is very good.

The room is "L" shape and surprisingly small! The breakfast is wonderful!

The place we were supposed to stay wasn't ready for us at the scheduled check-in time and told us it wouldn't be ready until late in the evening. Lucky for this hotel was close by. Staff was warm and welcoming and full of great recommendations for morning coffee, gelatos, and restaurants. Very comfortable accommodations. We couldn't hear any other rooms, but we could hear the crowds on the street and restaurants below. WiFi worked great. Close to Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, and many other sites. Great hotel in a 400 year old building. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay with close proximity to the historic sites. The guest service staff were very helpful, friendly and courteous. I recommends this place and would stay again when i come back.
