Domus Caracalla in Rome

The room was small and very nice, I slept quite well and the other thing I didn't like was the pillow was flat but the floor plan of the motel is very small, the elevator was shaking and I suffered a lot from vertigo……………………..

The front desk staff can speak English (although with a slight accent), so we can basically communicate without any problems. The service attitude is very enthusiastic. They also gave us a map of Rome and explained the tour route.

A very helpful warm , Friendly Lady on our arrival , Couldn't do enough for us ,Room wonderful and so very comfortable .So close on bus 81 to all special points . Vatican City etc, well worth the stay .Pricing terrific especially for families .Thankyou very much

First of all, I don’t seem to have seen any Chinese reviews on this platform, so I wrote a few words to avoid other friends from falling into the trap. This is not called a hotel, you can think of it as a homestay. And you can locate there according to its address. Don't doubt that it is a gate that looks like a residential area, as shown in Figure 1. After you find a way to enter the first gate, you will see a very old elevator, but go down the stairs next to it and pass through a yard. After seeing the second elevator, go up to the sixth floor, which is where all the residents live, so I think it is a homestay. What you need to pay attention to about this old elevator is that you need to close both the wooden door and the iron door outside after entering, which is equivalent to closing both doors and then pressing the button after hearing a ding-dong sound. The English of the front desk is not very good. The room is not big and the sound insulation is not very good. In addition, I booked a room with three beds on Ctrip, but found that there was only one bed when I arrived. Although Ctrip's customer service finally gave me the difference, it still affected my mood for travel. The room is ok. I feel like the balcony outside is a large public balcony where people can pass by. Remember to close the windows when you go to bed at night and go out during the day.

Basic but decent B&B. The difference is made by Mrs. Dasha who manages the facility. Very kind, very helpful, humane, very professional. The structure, near the Colosseum and San Giovanni in Laterano, is also recommended for those who unfortunately need it for health reasons, given its proximity to hospitals. What can I say, highly recommended to everyone,

Just got back from a lovely short trip in Rome, staying at the Domus Caracalla. The hotel is in an ideal location- ten minutes from the colosseum. The room we stayed in was very clean, and had a nice balcony that has the sun all day. The staff were very friendly and helpful, providing a map and giving lots of great recommendations of places to go and see and eat. Overall it was very good value for money. I would definitely recommend staying here when visiting Rome.

A lovely hotel in the heart of Rome. We loved our 3 nights at this hotel. A little different from regular hotels but then again a nice experience. The team at the hotel were really sweet and helped us with planning our trip , giving us safety tips . We were 15 min from the colosseum & 25 min from other points of interest . Absolutely recommend this hotel if your in Rome . We would definitely come back again !!!

Our stay at Domus Caracalla was wonderful. The lady who runs it was very lovely and helpful. She also spoke very good English which was even more helpful! She served us breakfast in our room each morning which was always very nice. The hotel room was clean and very comfortable. The hotel itself is in a fantastic location, close to many eateries, and the Colosseum is only 10 minutes walk away. My only criticism would be that the guests staying in the next room were very noisy and it felt like they were in the same room! Apart from that though, everything was great.
