Hotel Le Petit in Rome

I absolutely loved this quaint boutique hotel in the heart of Rome. I had planned an eight-night say to give me a full 7 days of sightseeing and did not regret one minute. From the moment I arrived on the 2nd floor and was warmly greeted by Giulia. At first, she told me my room wasn't ready but, just as I was about to leave to poke around the neighborhood, she announced housekeeping had just finished. I was in my room by around 1 pm. My room, a "junior suite," was small but had a nice balcony overlooking Via Torino. Even though small, I had plenty of space to spread out - including a convenient desk/workstation. The queen bed was very comfortable, and I always slept very well. While there was some street noise, it was minimal and not at all bothersome. The front desk staff were always friendly and ready to chat and were very helpful in recommending dining spots (the non-touristy ones) within walking distance. The breakfast room was small, but I was always able to get a table and enjoy delicious pastry and a cup of coffee and glass of juice. And the woman handling breakfast was always smiling and friendly. Le Petit is located within easy walking distance of the major Rome attractions and is within a block of the Republica Metro station and a 10-minute walk to Termini. Buses are half a block away. I would stay here again without hesitation on my next trip to the Eternal City.

Absolutely LOVED our stay here. The staff is AMAZING. The location is close to Termini Station and within walking distance from many sites. The breakfast is WONDERFUL. Rooms are small but lovely. Would stay here again 100%!

This is a gem of a little hotel in the heart of the tourist district. You're paying a high price for a small room due to its location. We walked everywhere, never used the metro, taxi or Uber other than for airport transfers. We used the service offered by the hotel (€60 - €65) as it was cheaper than Uber. Your other option is to stay in the outskirts of town and spend time and money coming into and out of the main areas. We were only in town for 3 nights this trip, and didn't want to waste time. Thus Hotel Le Petir was a great choice for us. The service was excellent and reception personnel very friendly. We had a room with a terrace where we took our breakfast each morning. At out on Friday evening and listened to jazz from a nearby cafe.

This is probably the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in, but it was really just fine for a few nights! I appreciate that they have energy-saving systems in place. You have to put the room key in a special slot in order for the lights and electric to stay on for any period of time. What really made this an outstanding and memorable stay was Daniella, the gal in the breakfast room. She was so very friendly and nice, attentive, knowledgeable about the area, and makes the best cappuccino! And she remembers your coffee the next day when you come in! You do have to go up to the 4th floor to check in, but there is an elevator that takes you there, so that is not a problem. Roberta at the front desk was also very friendly and helpful! I do have to mention that you should take your shower in the evening. We did that twice, after being out walking around the city and sweating all day. However one day we waited until the morning, and there was no hot water to be had.

Great location, competitively priced, immaculately clean with excellent customer service. Small breakfast area with good selection to start the day off. Everything is within walking distance (if you’re up for it). I would certainly recommend this hotel for a short stay in Rome.

This is a neat little hotel, very handy to the Termini train station. Rooms are well presented and modern (it was recently renovated). Considering it is in Rome it is on balance fairly priced. Rooms can be a bit noisy, mainly from bar below at ground level if it is playing music at night which it usually does. We had a minor issue with HW pressure, but once reported this was promptly attended to. Staff are amazing - very efficient and friendly and pre-arrival contact was expertly done. Breakfast was ample and good quality. There is a lift up to the second floor so no dramas with lugging cases upstairs and they are happy to hold bags once you check out.

Booked this hotel because of its location and it was the cheapest (although I think that 150€ per night for a single room still is quite expensive). Reception staff really is amazing, all very friendly and helpful no matter which time. Room very small but I only stayed one night and was travelling alone, therefore ok. Breakfast area very small but offer was good. It was clean but notice some ants in the bathroom. Hotel badly soundproofed, couldn't take a nap because I could hear everything which was going on outside my room.
