The room isn’t very spacious, but it is super clean. They also provided high-quality hygiene products, even including a lip balm. The location is within walking distance of the main attractions, and the receptionist was very kind and patient. For this price, I think it’s the best we could ask for — I would definitely stay again.

Great location, rooms where not big,,so a challenge with luggage,, old world charm.. bathroom was perfect.. lobby is small and offers a small gathering area,,, breakfast was excellent

The hotel room is small, but the location is good, so it's not too difficult to travel.

We visited Rome on September 2025 with friends and our agent booked this hotel for us and I wanna say that everything was terrible. The service was bad. The food was bad. The room was dirty , the staff were so rude and mean and not helpful too. I don’t recommend this hotel to no one and exotica they should know that when they book their hotels . No one from our group was happy with the hotel.

We had a 2 night stay here after a recent cruise. We were in room 114. Room wasn’t a bad size. Traditional decor. Bed was fairly hard. Shower room had decent shower. There was a coffee machine as well as a kettle. Tv safe hanging rail as opposed to wardrobe. Aircon worked ok. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok not great. The location of the hotel wasn’t bad and we found some nice restaurants in the neighbourhood.

Good location, short walk to No8 hop on hop off bus stop which is vlose to Trevi fountain.

Hotel Gambrinus is very well located, with a bus stop outside the door for buses going to and from the train station. Its about 20 minutes easy walk to the Spanish Steps or The gardens at Villa Borghesse. Overall the decor is a bit tired but very clean and the room a good size. The window view was horrible, into a light well with four walls of buildings, it did mean the room was quiet but also very dark. The breakfast buffet was average but the front of house host in the breakfast room was very welcoming and helpful.

Check in was a breeze. Rooms are small but well equipped with a safe fridge iron hair dryer plus large bodywash toiletries. Beds are so comfy. TV a bit low but not in Rome for the tele. All kept very clean. The buffet breakfast small but sufficient, choices of drinks coffees juices, yoghurt fruit and pastries plus scrambled egg and boiled egg, cooked ham cheese plus more. Raul the breakfast person is so cheery and such a delight, a treasure for the hotel and best member of staff, deserves a raise. All staff were helpful. I would stay here again.i will add its worth the breakfast option even if you just want a few coffees. You also get 1 bottle of water each for your first day then the supermarket is a few doors down if you have not found your fountains to refill. We were in room 418 only slight thing was the material on the wall was different under the table and a few sockets around the hotel look too need fixing better to the walls. Showers are amazing though.

Clean, quiet room. Small but expected in Europe. Bed was comfortable AC fan noisy Bed and clothes felt damp if exposed. No place foe all the luggage. Breakfast was good - good selection of scrambled eggs, cold cuts and cheese, cereals, pastries. Juice and coffee. Serving crew was fantastic. Ruel is very happy, always asking if we needed anything. Fabmzia was great also. If in Rome again, would not have a problem staying here.
