Very well located, 5 minute walk to the train/ subway. Friendly staff. Breakfast was reasonable.

Very safe location with great staff. Sound proof is not great, you can hear people from the other rooms talking but if you put earplug you are set.

Service is exceptional, super friendly and have a lot of good recommendations/information for you. The location is fine, but it’s kind of far (10 min walk) from the main station. The 492 bus brings you pretty close to this spot though, which is really handy. Taking off a star because 1) we didn’t get a duvet, just a sheet. Which is fine if you don’t use the AC, but when it’s 96 that’s not an option. So, we had colder AC and no duvet which was not that comfortable. Also, the hallway for our specific room was kind of not great. Super long walk to the room, stairs with a lot of luggage, and not numbered logically at all. The rooms are clean, in pretty good shape. I would return.

This was our second stay at Hotel Alpi in 3 years. This year (2025), we stayed in room 287 on Aug 5 and 6. The staff was extremely friendly. Location to train station is excellent with busses and metro near by. The grocery store one block away is also very convenient. The (paid) breakfast buffet was very good with a variety of items to choose from.
Our major complaint are the ants running along the baseboard of the exterior wall between the windows and running along the far bathroom wall. Perhaps this is a function of the room location (just above a terrace served breakfast during our last stay). When pointed out to the management, they offered to send a colleague to remedy the situation. We declined given our short 2 night stay but wanted to point this out so that future guests are aware and drive the appropriate accountability with the hotel. It was disappointing when the head of front desk brushed off the complaint that it is "summer" and these things happen. (This did NOT happen during our last visit.) The situation should be easily remedied with some poison along the baseboards and clear caulk to seal the room.
I would have expected management to provide a complimentary breakfast or a reduced rate for the inconvenience.

Location is superb. But the unexpected stairs inside the hotel made my experience there a little bitter. People with knee pain should refrain from staying here. The rooms are good, but the very small irregular quadrilateral shower area was another cause of worry. A tall person cannot bent to wash his legs standing in this cubicle. One end is so small that a person cannot be fitted there and the other end has shower fittings and soap stand. So we have to take a shower in that small corner, feeling uncomfortable, banging on the wall and the mirrored door.

I couldn't resist writing my first hotel review. It's possible I stayed in the last available room, but this hotel is a complete scam. The room I stayed in had only a small window, which opened onto a courtyard measuring a few square meters, effectively making it impossible to open. The room itself was quite large, but overall, it was far from what one would expect from a four-star hotel. For this price, you could stay at a Relais & Chateau, so choose carefully!

Beautiful boutique hotel, friendly staff, clean and updated room. The location was perfect for our plans and close to many restaurants and the train station. We stayed with kids as well. The breakfast was delicious and convenient when we had a busy day planned. Would love to stay again if we return to Rome.

Thank you so much for an amazing stay for my wife and I and her parents! Mr. Fabio and others did an outstanding job communicating once the hotel booking was made. Then Mr. Fabio and Carla at reception were amazing throughout. Took care of us when we needed and even did a few restaurant reservations for us. Mr. Ali was outstanding, he helped with the baggage and other requests and was a great chat! Jasper was also very kind and helpful when we needed him. And last but not least, Louisa at breakfast was on another level. She provided outstanding amazing service for us 4 and was very kind. Thank you all for a wonderful stay! Hotel is very close to multiple train stations where you can access tourist spots.
