We stayed 3 nights at Hotel Lord Byron and had a wonderful experience. The front desk staff was super helpful. The breakfast was delicious and the waiters knew the next day how we like our cappuccinos and how many. The hotel is located in a quiet area of Rome close to the park. With a bit of walking you can access public transportation easily.
We loved all the staff, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Exceptional customer service!

Ok! Upon arrival our room was not as requested. We had requested a room with two beds. Moved from room 403 to 303. No upgrade of room. No problem… booked with Amex Platinum. Given drink vouchers that were only good from noon until 5:30. Never used. Hotel needs some life! Breakfast room was depressing. Will not be returning to this hotel

If you are an Art Deco enthusiast, this is the place for you. The hotel is stuffed with Deco appointments. The service is very attentive (except when you have to lug your bags up a long flight of stairs because no doorman is present to greet you). The property, however, could use some attention. For example, the front door is missing an interior handle. Next, the grout in the bath/shower stall is stained and dirty looking. This is an easy problem to remedy. The finishes and paint could use a touchup. The property is like an aging prima donna who cannot quite go “on point” anymore. And the location is removed from the major attractions, but should be able to figure that out by looking at a map. So, do not expect the standards of a St. Regis in Rome or the Ritz in Paris. But then it doesn’t cost as much, either….

Everything was perfect. Beautiful, clean rooms, the bathroom was also always clean. We slept excellently in a quit location. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. The hotel is highly recommended. We would be happy to return.

This was an amazing experience! The hotel is beautiful, luxury, boutique, and the staff and care that they put into their work are wonderful! We loved the location, it was very quiet but close enough by car (and certain things on foot as well) to everything we wanted to see. The hotel staff add special touches to everything, including arranging transport from/to stations and airport. Yes, nowadays it’s easy to get an Uber or a taxi, but it’s a wonderful touch that the Lord Byron staff put into everything that makes it so special. The hotel feels very comfortable and they know their guests by name. Highly recommend and can’t wait to be back when we’re in Rome next. Oh, and the breakfast was spectacular!

The bathroom was leaking, the soundproofing was poor, the location was remote and transportation was inconvenient, and the waiter had no sense of boundaries and knocked on the door in the middle of the night. The arrogant hotel and service made me very disappointed with the SLH hotel alliance brand.
