Beautiful upscale property, staff accommodating and friendly. we received a welcome drink with crackers. Breakfast buffet was high quality, with a variety of delicious food and coffee style of your choice. A shuttle was available to and from the airport (15 min drive) which was very convenient. Quiet and comfortable hotel This is a very comfortable hotel which is close to the airport. It is perfect for one night stay when your flight landed at the airport too late. The only issue is the Spa and sauna which was closed but appeared to be available on the hotel introduction.

I was impressed with the courtesy of the front desk staff, the convenience of the hotel location and comfort of the rooms.

Pictures look nicer than reality. Our bathroom ceiling had a leak and no door. It just had a folding that you were expected to move every time you wanted to access the bathroom. Room was extremely hot. In November, they can’t put the AC on so we had to sleep with the windows open and it was very loud. The hotel is under renovation. Staff was kind, but we didn’t sleep much.

The room in the annex building did not match the ones on the site. The furniture had visible stains as well. This is a solid (3) star hotel because of its close proximity to walk to everything but it is not a 4 star property (at least not in its current semi renovated state). This is a convenient place to stay in Monti, near convenient stores and very good restaurants. (Go around the corner and eat at La Taverna Dei Monti. You won't regret it.) This is a perfect place for genuine Italian flare. The grounds of this villa are beautiful. The rooms are miniature villas and are right next to the restaurant. So what can I say? Everything was fine, except for the room. The first night, when we returned, the door to our room wouldn't open, and we had to ask for help at reception. Luckily, they managed to let us back in after a while. The location was excellent, but the breakfast was a bit disappointing.

Go there when it’s cheaper than any other hotel

The location was alright, but it wasn’t all that clean. There was hairs in the bathroom, and it was just a big struggle to flush the toilet. Overall I’d give it a 3/5.

This hotel is quite average for the price, but there is no other way, it is like this in Rome. At least there is a single room to stay in, and the buffet is served in the morning, which is very good.

Clean room , no fridge balcony or safe pleasant staff

We stayed here on our one week trip to the region and had a fabulous stay. The hotel is in the most gorgeous setting with pituresque views from the roof, wonderful for an evening glass of wine. The hotel staff were amazing; so accommodating with nothing too much trouble, they were able to recommend the best places to eat and made us feel like part of the family.

The hotel has too few parking place and the room was too small, that a person can't open the door if near the bed and there is no space for the luggage. The personnel is very gentle and helpful and the hotel itself was recently renovated, but the price is too high for the room dimension and services (without air condicioning).

Excellent location, exceptional staff. Given our very early departure, we weren't able to enjoy breakfast. However, the super-friendly staff prepared a breakfast basket for us and our baby. The pool was big and clean and well needed in the heat, also not too crowded. Our room was very clean and spacious with AC and tv and a mini fridge. The restaurant in the hotel next doors (ristorante da Luigi at hotel orto di Roma) was great!

With the lovely garden, the rustic houses, the nice pool and the friendly, competent and frankly terrific personell this place is perfect for a stay in Rome. You can leave for the city in the morning and relax and unwind here in the afternoon. This place is both dreamy and beautiful and I couldn't have wished for a better place to stay!

Comfortable but rather dark room. Bathroom in a terrible state! No changing room for the pool, the water was cold. The restaurant was rather average! In short, disappointed, for a 4-star hotel.

Lovely hotel. Piano player in lobby. Pool was a nice touch considering it was 36 degrees. Younger members of staff had an amazing work ethic. Only dissapointment was no kettle in the room and no room service thus no hot drink when you need to leave early.

Its right nex to the Spanish Steps, it located conveniently between two metro stations so you can easily take the train from Roma Termini to the Spagna or other station. Its an 8 minute walk to Trevi Fountain. I felt safe walking around. The food at the hotel restaurant for dinner was top notch!

We were traveling with friends who had stayed here before. The owner & workers are very good at this hotel. The rooms are uniquely decorated along with the floor tiles. It is very close to the Colosseum --very easy walking distance. Nearby are several restaurants.

3 stars earned by location and breakfast (really good!). My room was not nice: Behind the bed was a thick layer of dust, also in parts of the closet. The curtain was full of stains (inclusive a huge red stain). The bathroom ist very old. In total it's bearable if you just sleep there 2-3 nights.
