Hotel Cannero Lakeside Resort, Cannero Riviera1 / 17High rating
9.3
Piedmont, Cannero Riviera, Piazza Umberto I n. 2 🧭 Map
Beautiful boutique hotel right on the waterfront. Extremely warm and friendly staff. Owner Afreddo was most generous with the wine tasting!
This was such a wonderful surprise! We did not know this smaller lakeside village had great amenities so close to the hotel! Cool bars, great gelato, wonderful lakeside promenade. We thought Cannobio was where we needed to be… wrong this is IT. Ok, about the hotel. Perfect service, amenities, great view room.
We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in a room overlooking the lake. We found the room to be well furnished and spacious. Breakfast was included in our fare and provided a wide variety of dishes. Staff were very friendly, helpful and professional- by day 2 they were recognising us by name. We took advantage of a couple of the boat excursions offered by the hotel and these were extremely well organised...
Hotel is in a great location. Reception staff are amazing - helpful and friendly. They lift this review from a 2 to a 3! Restaurant staff were friendly but couldn't always help - breakfast was average (the free scrambled eggs were terrible and 5 Euros for 2 fried eggs instead! They didn't know what a poached egg was - even in Italian!). Bar staff were less friendly - but the bar was always busy....
This is the most relaxing stay to end a busy trip exploring the Italian lakes and Venice. The hotel is perfectly managed, the staff all go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and accommodating sometimes fussy needs for food off the menu. We stayed for a week half board, we benefited from the trips organised by the hotel to see the local sights, which were perfectly managed again making our...
We wish we had a third night! Great place, great view, great prices for the restaurant Can be a bit noisy when the bar ends but in my opinion it adds to the scenery Enjoy!

Piedmont, Castelletto sopra Ticino, SS Sempione 182 🧭 Map
Our EasyJet flight to Gatwick had to divert to Milan due to an issue and we were forced to spend the night in Milan. We were eventually found a room at the Blue Relais in Maggiore. It is a motel style hotel, with a king-sized bed which only had a sheet, there were no blankets or quilts available, the room was cold despite the wall fan heater being on all night. The breakfast consisted of juice, fruit...
Beautiful establishment all on the ground floor, quiet and very well equipped. Large room and very clean bathroom. The only downside is the noisy VMC in the bathroom. Charming and attentive staff. Correct and good restaurant, impeccable service.
Practical for a step. Next to a large commercial area, modeled on motels in the USA, you can park in front of the room. The price of 70€ is competitive but our room was rather gloomy and dated even though everything was in good condition.
Excellent for couples but more than a hotel it is a typical motel to spend a few pleasant hours with your partner in complete privacy. Spacious rooms and bathrooms. Located near the motorway exit but far from the lake.
Wellness weekend. Beautiful and comfortable structure. The rooms are clean and have all kinds of amenities, which serves the large and comfortable hydromassage tub. We had a small problem in the first room assigned, but then Marta promptly found us a valid solution. Very, very good!!!!! Thanks for everything, we will definitely be back
Very pleasant hotel, spacious room with jacuzzi... we really enjoyed it. The staff is very welcoming and kind. The car is parked in front of the room which is very practical. Well located for visiting Lake Maggiore.

Pretty good hotel for a good price! The room was clean and fresh, and ours had two balconies with such a beautiful view. Totally worth it!
We had a very brief stay here but all of the members of the staff were polite and helpful. It had everything we needed
Don’t understand the poor reviews ! This a great atmospheric hotel with really friendly staff! Great value for money! Our room was really cute and had a nice Juliet balcony looking onto street. Highly recommend this place!
I loved my room, it had a great view from the balcony. I loved the power shower. The bedroom was clean, comfy and a good size. I also loved it's location. I'm an invalid but I was able to reach the train station and all the lovely shops. Breakfast was perfect for me. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I will definitely promote your beautiful hotel. Also the living room was really beautiful...
This hotel is a little gem. Within walking distance to pretty much everything. This was my first time in Turin, I'm an invalid travelling alone. I only brought my crutches and I could still reach everything I wanted. The staff are lovely and all speak wonderful English. I truly enjoyed my stay here and hope to have many more trips to Turin.
Lovely characterful hotel with a warm welcome. Room was comfortable and clean with a nice outlook and enticing you’d need. Breakfast included and very good with plenty of choice. It’s not modern but it has bucket loads of character. And is great value.

Room is decent, spacious and will a pretty good view, convenient to the central station nd just 15 minutes walk to Turin central Will definitely cone back again 😊
A nice smaller hotel in a very convenient area with lots of dining options just a block or two away. The breakfast was good even on European standards but not amazing. However my biggest complaint is that the room was VERY small, like you could not pull out the chair at the desk without blocking the walkway by the bed. Think Paris or NYC small. Additionally I spoke to the front desk about checking...
Lovely Stay in Downtown Torino Stayed here for 1 night with my wife and 2 kids (both under 10 yr) and liked it. The kids loved that the room had a bunk bed. Great location and walkable. You’re right by the train station and Parco del Valentino. The building is older but well maintained. No parking on site, but there is a garage a couple of blocks away at Madama Cristina. There isn’t really a spot...
All sorts of food and drink outside left or right. Easy parking lot a block away. Older but well kept. Me st rooms have a terrace looking over a green area. Mellow.
An extraordinarily welcoming and attentive staff. Bad internet connection in the room.

Large well appointed rooms being renovated. Convenient place to stay in Alessandria.
This was a very last minute booking due to train cancellation. It is only 10 min walk from Alessandria station which is convenient. The staff upon check in were a bit rude however considering the trek we had been through with the trains. The room was very clean and the air conditioning worked well as long as you were close by. I requested a double bed but instead were given two single beds pushed together...
Comfortable Really central hotel close to amenities. Comfortable and clean. Breakfast could be a lot better with vegan options such as plant based milk and making sure the jams on offer are not empty jars !
Nice place. Big rooms. They’re slowly updating the decor. Comfortable. Overall was fab! Great place. Great staff. Nice towels and even had secure off-road parking.
Cool, cosy. Neat and comfortable rooms.
Home away from home Fantastic stay at this hotel. I had a late arrival, but that was no issues since the hotel has a 24h front desk. Quiet and calm area in Alessandria. The staff was awesome and I got help with what parking app to use and together were all multi-lingual. Room were cleaned every day and it was spotless. I will definitely be back

Basic but ideal for B&B Went for a last min Friday-Weds ski trip. This was one of the few hotels that could accommodate those days without breaking the bank - c€95 pn B&B (conti breakfast + cooked eggs on request). Traditional decor but fine for a basic trip. Spent a week on half board here for skiing. It is in a great location very close to the clothes chair lift. Old, but meticulously clean and bed was comfortable. Wifi was totally unreliable and slow when it actually did work. Room temperature in Oct was unbearably hot.
Great location, friendly helpful staff, highly recommended
Right next to the pier, you can easily take a cruise around the lake. The hotel provides free parking spaces, but you can ask the front desk if you can't find them. The room is large and it is very comfortable to sunbathe on the balcony.
Perfect location in Stresa Great property near the ferry pier in Stresa. The staff were friendly and accommodating.
Pleasant stay right beside the lake and only a 10min walk into the centre of Stresa. Convenient free onsite parking, nice indoor pool, communal areas and a great breakfast. Decor is a bit dated but in some way adds to the charm of the place. Excellent friendly staff.
The hotel may be slightly dated but it was clean and comfortable with friendly staff

Just stayed in K2 for the week, excellent central location, rooms are modern , spacious, very clean, only booked bed & breakfast, every morning food was very good, and staff very friendly, will book again next year 10/10
A peaceful end room with a view and lovely balcony, capturing the sun late afternoon. For breakfast we would have liked cut up fruit and more bread options. The maintenance of the hotel needs addressing. There were lots of spotlights out. The one next to the bed of room 118 and another in the ceiling, with loads downstairs. This is a very nice hotel, with wonderful staff. The rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast is ample and varied -- eggs, bacon, pastries, yogurt, cereal, toast, juices, coffees, etc. The hotel is in the exact center of town. There is extremely limited parking near the hotel, but lots of it about ten minutes' walk away.
The room was fine The location was good The breakfast was poor quality We found the hard-boiled eggs at the buffet to be rotten What would make us end up in the hospital? Glasses were missing, and the coffee machine didn't work properly?
We were a family of 4 staying in the family suite which was excellent with great facilities, modern, and roomy. Only slight downside was the noise from the ski hire shop directly above, 8am to 6pm. Lovely, friendly, perfect location, great breakfast
Basically good but nothing special other than the perfect location
Good value Good value. Comfortable and staff very friendly. If you are sensitive sleeper, you can hear sound of people talking on the sidewalk downstairs.
Perfect location right by the Omegna center, with one side of the building facing the lake. The hotel building is now a bit old, but it's in a good condition-- the rooms are simple and clean. Our room also included breakfast, which was quite nice and with a lot of options. Overall good quality for the price. Camillo at the reception always welcomed us enthusiastically.

We didn’t have a soap and the room was cold. The blanket is very thin. Facilities are very old, no lock in the bathroom
i just stayed one night but the neighborhood was really loud and i couldn't sleep well. went to take a shower just to find there was no soap inside. othere was a mini bottle on the sink but it was too small (probably as big as a thumb) for it to be shower gel and shampoo. the building is old and could use a bit of renovation as well as soundproofing.
It's an average hotel, but for the price, considering it includes breakfast and is right next to the metro stop, it's a good place.

I had a great stay, the hotel is lovely, the team compétent, the breakfast is very tasty with an excellent barrista, and the neighborhood is super nice.
We chose the hotel so we could be on walking distance of the centre plus have private parking (at only 15 Euro per day). That was great. And we got a good tip from the receptionist of an Eataly in the city which meant we didn't have to go out of the city to get there. We did not get a room, but an apartment. Big living room and bedroom with a kitchenette, high ceilings, air conditioning in both rooms, typical Italian balcony. The staff was very helpful and kind. Room exceptionally clean and spacious. Breakfast was very nice.
We had a very nice stay at this hotel! The staff is very friendly and helpful and recommended restaurants and booked them for us too. Would recommend living here if visiting Alba which was a very lively little town or when visiting vineyards.
Discreet rooms. The staff were very kind and professional. The breakfast probably cause covid was not great ... cappuccino made with the self service machine was not to my liking as was the coffee. Also the mattress was not very comfortable in my opinion a bit stiff. A positive note to the covered parking included in the already very good price.
A nice and clean hotel by the road just outside Alba. We stayed for four nights there as our friends were having their wedding nearby. We are really happy with the friendly staff and they are so helpful with all our requests. Will definitely recommend this place if you are visiting the region.
