The owner of the hotel couldn't have been more welcoming and accommodating. She truely made our stay special. Food was wholesome and plentiful. Beautiful location. Short walk away from local restaurants, cafes and shops and surrounded by stunning scenery. Would 100% recommend.

Nice old style hotel, very well located in the center of Bardonecchia. Easy access to everything. Large parking area. Nice, big yard. Clean room. Good meals. The hotel has all the necessary facilities and the owner (Beatrice) is always around and very helpful.

We return here every year for family ski vacation. Hotel rooms are a bit dated but the hospitality is fantastic. They are really making an effort to make you having a great vacation. Also the dinners are great (Italian style).

Absolutely beautiful place to stay and the staff was amazingly helpful and kind. It's located in a smaller town, but still very walkable to their downtown area with plenty of restaurants and wine shops. Everywhere you look is a beautiful view!

Having stayed at the Locanda before, I am very happy to report that my second time around was just as good. Perfect location for exploring Piemonte with amazing views from each of the rooms. Dinner on the terrasse is also a spectacular setting and of course the wines served are equally as good. Will not hesitate to return.

Great room, very spacious and well appointed, with a fantastic view as a bonus. Excellent service by a very friendly host. Neive is tricky when it comes to parking your car, but the host gave us plenty of help on that. The position of the Locanda is perfect.

Great and beautiful hotel. Everything was perfect except my room: it was too hot and no matter how hard I tried I could not turn down the temperature. Others in our big group of coworkers had the same issue. So sadly I didn’t get much sleep. The shower would not get as hot as I wanted but it was ok. Just one complaint . I would like to express my dissatisfaction with the behavior of the reception staff member today, whose name is Christian A. He charged an additional amount of €55 on my wife’s card for two days of parking. Our stay was excellent. The hotel is in a great location with easy walking distance to many stores and restaurants, and about 10 minutes walk to the train station. Perfect experience. The largest suite I've stayed in at the same price in Europe in the past decade. As expected of Turin, the service is perfect. Low-key luxury without ostentation, and it also has a relaxing feeling with cost-effectiveness. Perfect score!

We came with 2 dogs and they where welcoming. The room was nice and clean and every thing was very close. The only problem we had was that my mom came at night and the we came before and they didn't found her reservation (not knowing we made it together)

Nice location and friendly staff The location is close to central market and there’s weekend market. Turin is not that big city, so most places are walking reachable. The vintage hotel is quite cute and clean. The breakfast also have homemade cake and yogurt which are tasty.

It is quiet an old hotel, but it's clean. My room was next to a main road with a rubber road bump. Cars drove with speed over the bump which causes two loud bangs every time and that most of the night.

R&B run by a husband and wife couple. Very kind and always available to the customer. Gorgeous room with wooden furniture reminiscent of a mountain chalet and very clean. Rich breakfast with a wide choice. Also suitable for young people. For example, we did not have a car but less than 300 meters there was a bus service.

Very important. I could not stay at the property and had to go to a different hotel. My cell phone was not working in Italy and long distance calls would have been too expensive. Also as a university prof on an intensive research schedule their hours were impossible for me. Yet i was working in the archivio di stato right near this hotel! In short a disaster for me!

Very nice location overlooking the lake , room is little old but the price is fair. The restaurant is the gem here , very fresh ingredients with excellent cooking. I was in the region on a bike touring holiday and the Grand Hotel Principe was a perfect resting place for a night. A warm welcome by the staff, very comfortable rooms and an outstanding breakfast and dinner with house-made local Piemontese specialties was excellent. The pool and garden were also very relaxing.
