Hotel Atlantic, Arona1 / 13
7.7
Piedmont, Arona, Corso Repubblica, 124 🧭 Map
Vintage but reasonably good shape classic hotel, very close to the train station and the waterfront, most rooms with a balcony and Lake view, could use some touchups here and there, but enjoyed the stay very much. Just across the street from the lake side walkway.
Amazing hotel!! Roberta and all the staff were extremely kind and helpful. Highly recommend.
Beautiful Location , steps from Train station, 30 second walk to Lake Front
Great location in front of the lake; cozy room; great food and bars around
Nice and very clean hotel în the middle of Arona. Ok, I agree they need some improvements, but they have many more advantages. All compliments to the staff.
I didn’t stay here but sought the assistance of the front desk the other night when caught out by a storm. The receptionist was kind in getting a taxi sorted for us and providing a great welcome. Well done Atlantic.
Central location, nearby train station and the lake. The room was big enough. I used bicycle for free. I enjoyed the breakfast

Hotel Meeting, Stresa1 / 26

Piedmont, Stresa, Via Ruggero Bonghi, 9 🧭 Map
I wanted to save some money by not staying directly lakefront, and this hotel was quiet, clean, no frills and perfect. In a quiet neighborhood where a 2 minute walk in a residential area brings you to self service laundry, a grocery store, shops and restaurants and a 5 minute walk from the more busy piazzas with restaurants and shops. The hotel room was large with loads of space for storage and plenty...
We were a group of 8 and had a fantastic time cycling around Stresa. Partucularly, I recommend Lake Orta, a fabulous place. The hotel’s own e-bike rental was incredibly convenient, and the bikes were in excellent condition. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond, organizing a memorable dinner on Isola Bella and arranging a private boat tour on Lago Maggiore. The hotel itself is charming...
The bedrooms were supposed to be refurbished but ours was not. The material round the bed was ripped all the way round and the terrace overlooked a load of rubbish. The food was reasonable, dinner had a good buffet, 4 choices of starter and main course plus pudding. Breakfast was a continental buffet and was okay.
The location is good, close to the train station and ferry terminal, and the staff are friendly. However, the rooms are average. The first room's door wouldn't close, the second room's safe didn't work, and there wasn't even a bar of soap in the bathroom. There wasn't any shelf in the shower for shower gel or other items. The breakfast was okay, with plenty of options.
The hotel is in the center of Stresa, but not in the restricted traffic zone (ZTL), making it easily accessible by car. Parking is a painstaking task in the nearby streets, but they do have a private garage for a fee. The apartment we were assigned was very clean, cozy, and spacious. It had a kitchenette. Independent heating and a huge bathroom. The reception staff were young but knowledgeable. I haven...
The journey from the airport to hotel was terrible, but the stay at the hotel was very good. At midnight, the hotel owner welcomed us and tells us the most important information. He invited us for a tasty breakfast and the service in the restaurant was nice. The room was very clean and you could relax. The hotel is located in a quiet location.

Economic choice A good hotel of standard quality, cons: WiFi weak in the room, breakfast without any vegetables.
Nice stay very good breakfast Hotel good. 10 min walk from Dante subway. Friendly reception. Room free water. Shower great though dont agreewith packet shower gel. Very good continental breakfast

Great place, very good located and extremely nice staff!
Great location, beautiful view on lake. Very nice staff and confortable Room
Lovely little family hotel on shore of lake Maggiore with fantastic views of the lake from room balcony and also breakfast room. Very helpful staff and good value for money. Also good parking facilities....would recommend!
The views are lovely. The property is directly on the lake with a choice of park area, terrace or beach terrace when outside. It is a full service hotel with that criteria of class and formality that many hotels in this category have lost over the years. It has all comforts yet it is not large. The breakfast room and aperitif area have a stunning view over the lake. It is family owned and the founder...

The location is fantastic and the view from the room is exceptional. The staff is incredibly friendly and help with requests. The private beach is worth it! The room was very clean and the AC unit is very modern. Breakfast had many options and very tasty.
Great location overlooking the lake. Excellent breakfast on the terrace. Comfortable rooms. Helpful and friendly staff.
Room and bed OK. Fabulous sea view. But: extremely noisy. You hear every car passing by as the tires hit the cobblestone surface. And loud and drunk people also bother. So: get a room to the backside. Take sleeping pills! And: the much praised breakfast is mediocre. We have had much better. You have to get your coffee from a slow machine so the line is long in front. Not pleasant. But: the price is...
nice old fashioned hotel looks onto this pretty small lake.Staff are friendly and rooms are ok though i missed an air conditioning there was a fan. It’s a little exspensive but everything is these days.Bring mosquito spray you will get bitten around the lake .Very cute village
Absolutely charming hotel by a pocket-sized Alpine lake, with a cheerful and friendly staff. Elegant and comfortable. If the breakfast had been better it would have got five stars. Otherwise, an extremely happy stay.

Not a guest but used the lovely spa here. Front desk helped us figure out the complicated bus situation. And then the real treat was Alberto and Paolo in the bar. We were passing time out of the snow whilst we waited for the bus and they took great care of us: making us mocktails to taste from scratch, feeding us delicious snacks, and being very funny and sweet fellas. Completely professional hosts...
Best food I’ve had in the hotel, friendly and very kind staff, got bottle on the house for my BTH - THANK YOU! Enjoyed the live music every evening, the shuttle ski bus was very handy, great service in the hotel overall The only downsize was the spa, broken shower to start with, one sauna did not work, indoor pool luke warm, outdoor tub luke warm. Went once and didn’t bother anymore
Difficult to write an objective review but... Great location and we managed to park right outside the door. Ski room needed a few more spaces as it was cramped. No boot dryers (so once we had had dinner and they had dripped, we took them to our room). Check in was simple. Room was basic, tired, and cold (until I bled the radiators and closed the windows properly). Food - lots of it, generally good...
We stayed in this excellent hotel as part of a group of 15 people. The rooms were large, warm with temperature adjustment and comfortable, the beds excellent, the food at both breakfast and dinner was very, very good and the staff, with a particular mention of the irrepressible Ibra and Omar, were fantastic. All staff were helpful and always smiling. Afternoon tea, coffee and cakes were an added bonus...
A great place for a ski holiday. We were here for a week with a group and the staff could not have done more to make us feel welcome. All was great, especially the staff who were very helpful and friendly. Only minor problem was mold on the ceiling of the bathroom. We would stay there again.
Value hotel close to centre of Stresa Central Hotel near lake, station and town. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean but basic rooms. Would benefit from fridge/safe.
The staff was friendly and the new rooms were spacious. The only odd thing was the window between the room and the bathroom—it lets natural light in, but it also gives a view of the toilet.
I booked the hotel for weekend, nice location near to shops and beach ⛱️. The bigest issue is about the blanket. It seems they are not washed properly since when I used it my body was covered with bed bugs bites. The shower room is extra small. In one occasion the room service forgot to close the room door after entering.
Lovely hotel, definitely more to it than the limited info our travel operator gave to us. Breakfast good standard, helpful staff
Near to the lake and the town centre building site across the road, shower alternated between freezing of scalding rapidly so no such thing as a comfortable shower. Breakfast is very limited in selection and availability depending on what time you arrive, lukewarm warm coffee and “hot” water to make lukewarm tea. Saving grace is the staff are friendly, polite and helpful

Excellent! So friendly and helpful. The staff were exceptional and even gave us a complimentary bottle of wine after allowing a slightly late checkout due to me having a work meeting. The hotel itself is really very nice indeed, especially handy location for boat trips to the gorgeous islands. Highly recommended!
Enjoyable stay Picture perfect view from our balcony, wonderful breakfast and friendly staff made our stay very enjoyable
We find this difficult to review as we have very mixed feelings about the place. Positives…… the staff could not be more helpful and professional. The breakfast selection was very good but as some have commented, the food can run out if you don’t get in before 9am. The room size was good and the beds relatively comfortable although the mattress was a little lumpy and could do with turning end on end...
I don’t even know where to begin in describing how wonderful the staff at Hotel Flora was. The hotel manager, Carlo, went over and above to make sure our stay was perfect—exactly what a great manager should do. Francesca was always pleasant and helped us so much throughout our visit, and Julia was also fantastic. Their warmth and professionalism truly stood out. Our room was beautiful, spotless,...
Great stay Staff were all welcoming and extremely helpful. Breakfast was delicious and the choice was excellent. Great location for the ferry at Carciano and a lovely walk in to Stresa mostly along the lake Used the pool a couple of times - a little cold but fine once you're in.
Lovely hotel. Manager and all staff were so friendly and helpful. We stayed half board and are vegetarian but there was plenty of choice for us. The food was excellent. Hotel Stay – Very Good I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. From the moment I checked in, I was warmly welcomed, and all my questions were answered professionally. Europalace exceeded all expectations. We got a corner lake view room and it was absolutely stunning! Great Hotel for the low price Great hotel for the price! Nice personell and room.
Nice place. Overworked staff. Great location, decent breakfast. Room smelled a bit funky.
The Hotel Europalace is a bit of a gem on Lago Maggiore. It is like taking a step back in time with the dated interiors and furnishings. While dated the place is extremely clean and well maintained. I was in the room 133. Overall it was clean - the bad, 2 bathrooms and everything else. They provided a towel Also there are lockers in every room (the lock itself for additional cost, anyway you can bring yours ) Nice kitchen with everything you’ll probably need The only thing I would add - curtains for the bad, cause the sleeping place was only fenced for 1/3
Highly recommend this hostel. We booked a 3 person room as we were travelling as a group of 3 friends and it was the perfect room with two bathrooms. pillows and bed could be a little more comfortable but it is what it is
The room design is good, you have alot of space around the bed and it feels private. There is a common kitchen and a laundry room that takes 2 euros for a wash and 2.5 for the dryer. The bar is expensive, I paid 8 euros for spritz Campari but as a resident u get 10% discount.
Was almost the perfect stay, everything was great from the large areas around your bed, beds comfy, pillows, blankets everything great. Kitchen big and clean even if some stuff gets taken by others. Bathroom is clean, good shower pressure etc cant fault 90% of it The only reason this didn't get a 5 is due to the load music played over the weekend, I was running the marathon and the night before the...
Everything was full with good vibes, special thanks to the cafeteria staff, very helpful, and cheerful, much recommended
A very clean and comfortable hostel to stay in — with cozy mattresses, a kitchen, and the possibility to wash and dry your clothes. Super friendly welcome, new hotel with spotless rooms and bathrooms, top-notch breakfast, free minibar and in-room snacks! And we really appreciated being able to bring our dog; they gave us a room with a small garden. Highly recommended!
The rooms are as described on the website: comfortable beds, a sufficiently large bathroom, a small refrigerator, air conditioning, and everything is very clean. The hotel is in a beautiful location. I was fortunate to have a room with a balcony facing Lake Orta. The water was very clear and I could see large trout swimming past. Hotel service is good and staff are helpful. I have had better food in my life, but the fare was adequate. The area close to the hotel is pretty quiet, so if you fancy a holiday off the beaten track, I strongly recommend this hotel
3 star hotel with a 5 star experience. Amazing staff, good parking, pool, lake side view, cute restaurant, jetty. Lovely experience
Only visited the restaurant, great location overlooking Lake Orto. Dogs welcome. Interesting menu with a wide range of choices without putting too much on the menu. Portions vary a lot within the course. For example pasta, one dish is perfectly sized for a 4 course menu, the other dish is a platter full and almost feels as too much. All in all a nice place to come again when in the area.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Primavera, staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were comfortable and very clean. Close to restaurants and shopping. I would recommend this hotel.
Excellent location, very attentive and helpful staff. Bathrooms need updating and breakfast is inadequate.
Hotel Primavera is a good 3 star hotel in the pedestrian district of Stresa. We had a good 5 nights stay there. Spacious rooms, clean, very new bathroom, walkin shower was brilliant, but no shelf in there for toiletries? Clean room & bed. Special price menu for guests in restaurant next door. Breakfast was adequate but Too many cakes, pies & sweet slices. Croissants handed to you at table, 1 each. But on the whole great hotel in an ideal position/area, restaurants & Lake couple of minutes walk.
It was even better than expected!! We only stayed for one night and wish we could have stayed more. The room was a great amount of space. Stopped here at the beginning of our holiday in February. Really good location, about 10 mins walk from the main train station. And lots of restaurants and mini markets near by. Beautiful establishment all on the ground floor, quiet and very well equipped. Large room and very clean bathroom. The only downside is the noisy VMC in the bathroom. Charming and attentive staff. Correct and good restaurant, impeccable service.
Practical for a step. Next to a large commercial area, modeled on motels in the USA, you can park in front of the room. The price of 70€ is competitive but our room was rather gloomy and dated even though everything was in good condition.
Excellent for couples but more than a hotel it is a typical motel to spend a few pleasant hours with your partner in complete privacy. Spacious rooms and bathrooms. Located near the motorway exit but far from the lake.
Wellness weekend. Beautiful and comfortable structure. The rooms are clean and have all kinds of amenities, which serves the large and comfortable hydromassage tub. We had a small problem in the first room assigned, but then Marta promptly found us a valid solution. Very, very good!!!!! Thanks for everything, we will definitely be back
