room was very clean and renovated and breakfast was delicious. the hotel is very secluded and only accessible with a vehicle and About 30 minutes from the main town.

Amazing little hotel, super friendly and helpful staff and the most amazing dinner dishes prepared by 2 ladies who cook Sicilian food with pure passion - the way it should be! First time ever we actually stayed in and ate at the hotel every night with Michelin level cooking for half the price - absolutely amazing ! You have a choice of rooms whether from sea view to ones with a private small jacuzzi at the back. You can walk along the coast for miles, visit beautiful reservation areas and Syracuse is only 15/20mins by car. Most of all this place offer an amazing calmness and ambiance where you can really rest and enjoy your holiday with easy access to all that Sicily offers.

Perfect place to relax and enjoy sea views, kind service and quiet beauty while visiting the important sites in Sicily. Easy drive to cities and beaches during the day, while returning to your home away from home to recharge. Restaurants nearby on the water serve fresh fish, and the staff can recommend a delightful local wine tasting experience. The B&B experience is more affordable and authentic than staying inside Ortiga!

This was the most beautiful property! The photos looked good, but they don’t do it justice. Exquisite. Breakfast was included, but I also ordered an evening meal from their kitchen, and it was the best Sicilian food I’ve had in my 4 days of travel. I can’t praise this place enough. It was a paradise.

Small and super fresh hotel with great standard and great views. Pool area very nice, cool sun beds and perfect for relaxation. Rooms white and super standard, ok beds and good AC. Very nice feature with private plunge pools in some rooms. Breakfast was good, nice variety of food and drinks. Service was also great, friendly staff who were helpful and happy. We were a family of four, will definately try to come back.

This property is located away from the busy city area in Siracusa, about 20mins drive to the city. However, the accommodation offers easy parking (right outside the accommodation) which is free. It’s a small property but the kitchen serves amazing dinner (need to the staff knows on the earlier in the day as they will prepare the dinner). The menu changes every evening.

Breakfast is served in the common area facing the pool and the sea. It has an amazing view.

The only unfortunate thing is that we booked the room category with panoramic view and was given a room with no view. The reception informed us that ******* has overbooked the 2 panoramic room types and the hotel didn’t see the issue until we check in. As the other 2 families who booked the same room type have already check-in, we were only left with a room that has no window and no view. It was very disappointing. The reception compensated us with a free dinner on the first night.

Overall, we were happy with the accommodation. It’s clean, staff are friendly and the towels smell so good!

Nothing to complain about but you need a car

Stayed here for 2 nights. Located slightly remote, but worth the drive. With a pool overlooking the sea and overall feel of relaxation, this is a place I would come back to. Had a meal on the second night, cooked by what felt like a local mother, and it was delicious.
