Fantastic place near Syrakuza. Everything clean and comfortable. You can see that the Staff looks for every detail. The Staff od very kind and helpful. Especialy Izabela took care of us. The swiming pool od fantastic. Only thing that needs improvement is the breakfast. The choice is really poor. Could make it better with just small investments. More vegetables and fruits and Maybe some small hot options.

Just okay
We chose this hotel as it was a bit outside of the main centers of Syracuse and Ortigia. However, we were disappointed that they did not allow us to check in early, even though it was only about an hour to check-in time. They held our luggage for us but then when we left to get lunch to pass time so we could come back and check in, they forgot they had our luggage and were trying to show us straight to our room.
The balcony, at least on the first floor, I wish we had not paid for, as it was not private and went straight to the pool area. Bathroom and room were just okay, nothing special. I would recommend maybe trying another accommodation to stay in.

Comfortable accommodation and wonderful service
Franco was very helpful and kind. He took care of our request immediately.
Isabella also very kind and helpful. We brought some food from the outside and ate at the breakfast area. Isabella immediately provided dishes and silverware for us. Not only that she also offered to warm up the soup.

My friend and I were on holiday and we bought this travel via agence “lastminute”. From 22 till 29 September 2024 we occupied room 201 in this hotel "Albatros" in Syracusa. POSITIVE side: good bathroom, beds, air conditioning, and good friendly working staff, they changed towels and made the bed every day.THANK YOU... NEGATIVE side: there is a complete lack of objective and reliable information. 1-location of the hotel in the middle of a large field, where there are no shops, cafes or take away etc at all. 2-access to the hotel ONLY by car or taxi! That is, we didn’t have a driver's license and extra money for a taxi (£20 one way). We can't walk to the town center, because there are high-speed roads and along them there are no pedestrian sidewalks at all. (risk of accident). renting bicycles is not an option for those who have not used them for a long time. And we are 55+ that is, walking for more one hour in the heat is impossible. So we were forced stay in the hotel our entire holiday. Small swimming pool (for children, depth 1.30m) with cold clean water, all the exercise gim are working, but it was impossible to be in this area because attack of a lot of wasps, mosquitoes, flies. In our room there is no balcony and a place to dry towels, swimsuits, no microwave oven for cooking and no free coffee and miniral water. At first there were several bags of tea that were not brought after at all. In the hotel there was only breakfast (not have service to lunch and dinner). breakfast with a poor choice. There is nothing hot (porridge, omelet, beans, sausages, bacon) no vegetables. If you come to breakfast around 10 am (closing time) you might not even get a sandwich. The TV had only one music channel. We not found an English news channel. Wi-Fi doesn’t work around/ outside the hotel. It was too borring time and too muny problems in this hotel. Most photos of webside not true. In endid, they charged us a tourist tax of £20 yet. FOR WHAT? For get mostly stress and a ruined terrible holiday. I am upset of lost money, the price does not match the quality. I am surprised why the hotel has 4 stars. I won’t give my recommend to stay in this hotel for holiday, just for transit over night.

Friendly and helpful staff.
The rooms are very nice, and nothing is missing.
We made use of the tea kettle, and the next day they supplied us with the flavor we had used. It was a simple but very nice service to receive.
Clean place and absurd bathrooms. Very large shower and equipped with everything.
Very nice and pleasant exterior.
Lovely equipped outside gym.
Gorgeous swimming pool.
Only flaws:
15 euro breakfast for things not suitable for the type of hotel, and the rooms were not very bright but otherwise everything was perfect and impeccable

I spent a wonderful holiday with my family at the Albatros Hotel in Syracuse. The hotel stands out for its impeccable cleanliness and customer attention. The breakfast was rich and made up of fresh products, a real pleasure for the palate.
