The property was not close to anything. We took hop on/hop off to get around and had to go back early or look for a taxi. We received coupon for breakfast and had to go to a bar which only gave us a coffee and croissant.

This is an economical out-of-the way place on the ground floor of a small apartment building.
The unit’s design was modern. You could walk 8 minutes to some sites, or alternatively 20 minutes to others.
The neighborhood is a bit gritty. Dining options nearby very limited. The breakfast is not at the unit but at a nearby cafe. There was no hot water while we were there. The Apartments above us were occupied and noisy.
You can save money by staying here. Your choice.

Large unique room with comfortable bed. Handy parking. Good wifi. Pleasant man met us at door. There is no laundry facilities. It took extra long time for hot water. Bathroom sink area small.

This B&B was exceptional. Very modern, clean, and well located. Parking is available. The walk to Isola di Ortegia was a 10-15 minute straight shot. The Basilica of the Madonna delle Lacrime is next door, but quite frankly, although interesting from the outside, it is not particularly interesting inside.

Monica , went out of her way to help me on finding another room for the next day because they had no availability. Monica made my day about explaining the garage was next to the door. She is the best.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the location. Our host was lovely and provided all the information we needed. Breakfast was plentiful. The parking is street parking and they had saved a spot for us out front when we arrived. We decided not to move the car until we left only because there were times of day where spots would have been at a premium. This wasn’t a problem because everything was within walking distance including the very beautiful Ortigia and the awesome Greek Theatre.

Warm welcome from our host. Our room was just off the breakfast room. Only window was into an internal courtyard but we don’t go on holiday to look out of the windows. Comfortable room, clean and well appointed. WiFi and Aircon worked well as did the fridge. I’m starting to get the impression though there are no English speaking channels on TV in Sicily! Breakfast was adequate and served in a bright airy room. Location not bad. Just 15 minutes walk to Ortigia Island and 10 minutes to the archaeological park. We had no problem parking right outside the B&B. Well worth checking this one out.

"We booked accommodation at B&B Siracusa. The accommodation rules stated that payment must be made in advance before arrival. I understand why because when you get there, you realize how nice the accommodation can look in photos, but the actual condition is a disaster: rooms are in the basement, only one has a window, and even that is broken and faces the street. Hmm... interesting - you practically sleep with direct access to the road 🥺. The other rooms are damp, they all smell of mold, and there are no windows... In short, this is harmful to your health. The owner doesn't even show up and forgets about the refund... In summary, be cautious and avoid this accommodation."
