Residence Solemaremma in Castiglione della Pescaia

We had a great stay at Solemaremma. The apartment was exactly as described and photographed. It was clean with a large terrace and plenty of plates, pans etc for self catering. The staff were AMAZING. The site was lush green and well cared for. The large pool was excellent and there were always enough sunbeds (mid - end July). There was live music or entertainment most evenings (maybe every evening, I am not sure). The shop/deli on site was well stocked. We didn't use the restaurant. There was Aqua Fit in the pool most afternoons which was great. The site is in a beautiful wooded area and the tree roots have made the carpark a little tricky, but this did not cause us any problems. Yes, there are a lot of stairs to some of the apartments but I am sure if you request a low level apartment or room on your booking form this will be taken into account. Our daughter has complex SEND and the staff could not do enough to help us. The town of Castiglione della Pescaia is fabulous and walkable - lots of lovely coffee shops, restaurants, shops and gelato! There is a lot to do in the area. There is a free public beach down the road from the accommodation. I would like to give a shout out to Angela on reception who was absolutely amazing :)

Had a nice holiday here with my partner and toddler! Staff were very warm and friendly, and we loved the green estate, pools, playground and the children's play area.

The rooms are quite awkward: the bed is in the same room as the lounge and kitchen, only separated by small stairs which were quite dangerous for our toddler and meant we needed to put a large barrier at the top of the stairs to prevent any accidents. It also wouldn't be accessible to anyone with reduced mobility, e.g. an older person, someone with injuries or someone with physical disabilities. We were told all the rooms were like this. In my country it's illegal to not be accessible but maybe regulations are different in Italy.

Fine holiday place. Nice green sorroundings with very prominent Tuscan 'macchia' plants. Unpleasant animation for childrend and unrequested shows may ruin the beauty of natural context. Informations needed to avoid surprises during the month of August.

I Don't give 5* because my apartment was not so clean and were missing basic things in the kitchen but about the rest it is amazing!
The garden around the resort it's very well taken care.
Amazing nature!
Peaceful area.
Incredible surroundings.
700/800m from the beach which you do it perfectly as it is so refreshing and peaceful walking along the road being surrounded by that incredible nature and smell.

A little bit sussyyyyy

Really nice area, nice and clean apartment, but there was no wlan in the apartment, also it feels like the hotel is saving money wherever it's possible. The problem kind of was, that there was nothing going on, even though there were possibilities to. (Went there Late July - Early August 2018)
