Could not recommend this hotel more!! We stayed there for two nights for our honeymoon after getting married in a villa right outside Florence and they took such great care of us, giving us an absolutely amazing room with an incredible view. I feel like most people know about their amazing rooftop bar, but when you stay with them, you get to have breakfast there all by yourself essentially since there are so little rooms. The area is still close to everything, but not in the middle of the hustle and bustle, which we love. Highly recommend!!

Great location. Great room. Terrific staff. Good value. Perfect experience on every metric

Obviously, the terrace at this hotel is absolutely gorgeous! But the actual rooms are also lovely, large, good air con. We had a view of the Pitti Palace from our room, which was wonderful ! Only used the terrace one evening, it was SO hot 6/7pm and we wanted to be out in the streets! You get a constant arrival of instagram/ influencers types arriving who have booked tables, but honestly, it didn’t spoil anything. The greatest part is as a guest, you get breakfast out there every morning , exclusively, and it’s absolutely magic 💫 Staff are all lovely too. We’ll definitely stay again, love the area, much calmer to return to and minutes away from the river .

A return visit: after 35 years. And just as beautiful now

The staff are exceptional-all of them. They helped us with tickets and brought me tea and cookies one night when I was sick. The breakfast staff is so personable, kind, and attentive. The cleaning staff are impeccably efficient and energetic and have a wonderful sense of humor. We see the same people every year and they remember us. Thank you all!

We were a family of four that stayed in the “family room”. The room was beautiful, comfortable and had plenty of space. The rooftop restaurant had beautiful views, wonderful food and drinks and friendly staff. Alessandro made us feel welcome. Our daughter had a nut allergy and he made sure to accommodate her and let her know her safe food options. We loved the location. Close enough to walk to the sites, but more quaint, a little less touristy.

Look no further. This is the place. It is truly sublime. I stayed for four nights and found the staff to be incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is excellent: situated on a quiet plaza with great bars, restaurants, and a Sunday farmers market. There aren't the heavy tourist crowds and chain stores of the center. The rooms are gorgeous and spacious. I was travling alone and I'm always worried I will be put in a closet type or less desirable room. Quite the opposite here, I was given an exceptional room with lovely views. The only drawback was that there is no discount for single occupants, and I was required to pay for two breakfasts each morning at approximately 30-40 euros each and I'm not a big breakfast eater/ The quality of the room and the overall experience made the extra cost worth it. I particularly enjoyed the terrace, the delicious cocktails, and relaxing in the bathtub after long days of sightseeing. There was a little street noise, especially on Saturday night but it didn't bother me. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Charming, quiet hotel which helped make our visit to Florence special. The room was spacious, super clean and comfortable. The Loggia fantastic and most importantly, everyone had a smile and was helpful. Best hotel in Florence for a personal and charming stay.

The hotel is a beautiful old palace right next to a nice quiet piazza, with big hotel rooms. The location is amazing being quite calm but still very close to all the major sights. Our room was right next to the rooftop bar, but there was only a very slight disturbance from the bar and it closes at 23 so it wasn't a big deal. Unfortunately on a pretty evening all the tables at the bar were full so even the hotel guests couldn't get a table, which was a bit annoying. The breakfast was very good considering it's a continental breakfast and the views from the breakfast table were amazing. The personnel were also really nice. The only downside was that the hotel reception and the rooms were on the 4th floor with only a small elevator, which got crowded often. Also the rooms were quite noisy. The view from the room was very nice over the rooftops of Florence. Would've given 5 stars but the price was a bit too high. We paid 300 euros per night and it was the off season. The facilities were not quite up to the high price

Absolutely amazing stay! Great location to all major attractions, great restaurants nearby, beautiful rooms, certain room has Duomo view, incredibly helpful staff! Definitely recommend it and we are planning to come back!
