B&B Hotel Firenze Pitti Palace Al Ponte Vecchio in Florence

I used to stay at a high-end hotel in the city center. The interior was very Italian with antique furnishings, and the concierge and breakfast were wonderful. This time, I was looking for a simple, clean, American-style interior along the Arno River.

I decided to go to Florence at the last minute and spent a lot of time arranging flights and transfers. I was looking for hotels based on interior photos from package deals, and saw many reviews saying 'I want to stay here again!' The location also seemed good. So, instead of a flight and hotel package, I decided to book just the hotel. Even though I was traveling alone, there was an available room with twin beds (offering more space), a bathtub, and a view of the sky, so I booked it. I paid the same day and even got a service discount.

Upon arriving at the hotel, I was surprised to find it right after crossing Ponte Vecchio! It's a small B&B hotel with six floors, but it's conveniently designed with free spaces on the second and sixth floors. Breakfast is on the sixth floor, where you get a picturesque view of the Duomo, Florence's iconic landmark. Every morning, while enjoying that view, two kind staff members made me cappuccino. I truly found the perfect hotel.

The stay was wonderful and comfortable, and the staff were absolutely amazing. This isn't my first time here; it was my second experience. I hope to get a discount on my honeymoon.

Stayed here for 4 nights across Christmas.

Although found mold in first room we checked in.. which is quite common near the windows, front desk Elana is very understanding and immediately change a room. The room is perfect, bed is definitely soft.

Location is central enough to go almost everywhere by foot.

Special shout out to Laura at the breakfast, not only she is short handed on a busy morning, she remember what we drinks every morning.

There is a very comfortable lounge area which is a good place to relax.
The central location means it is easy to pop back for a rest.

Our stay here was extremely present. Located a couple of steps from Ponte Vecchio (literally) it is the perfect location. The staff were incredibly accommodating to all of our needs and requests.

The rooms were a decent size and very clean. The breakfast was amazing.

Couldn’t have asked for more from the stay here. Thank you to all the wonderful staff for their assistance and making the stay extra special.

Wonderful short break at the hotel in a junior suite.
Room was spacious and clean, daily room service was excellent. Decor was a little dated but bed was comfortable.
Hotel location was perfect, within walking distance to all the attractions and many lovely restaurants.
Good breakfast, and lovely service from the breakfast staff, providing real cappuccino and coffees, not the vending style ones!
All staff were welcoming and ready to help with any queries.
Only downside was no roof top bar, which would have been great for an evening drink.

The location is right at the end of the old bridge. Focheng is not that big, so it is quite convenient. It is about 15-20 minutes walk from the station. The breakfast was very good, highly recommended! !

The location is right next to Ponte Vecchio. It is close to Santa Maria Novella Station by taking the C4 bus. There are many supermarkets and delicious restaurants right next to it. It is also close to the cathedral, and the staff are especially friendly. The view from the restaurant is also nice.
