Boutique Hotel Hugo in Florence

The staff is friendly, the room is clean. The breakfast is great. Area is walkable to every visit spot, very convenient. Only downside is a lot of stair, good for carry on but not for big luggage.

Breakfast good in lovely setting. Room nice. A/C included. No room safe. Stairs were fine for us but may be issue for others as 4 flights. Good for one night stay, but very limited hotel on one floor of a multi floor apartment complex, so would not want to stay for longer duration. Basic, but functional for what we needed for one night

Kind and helpful staff, fresh and tasteful breakfast - although a bit late for business, located in a comfy residential environment but close to tram station, T2 terminal very convenitent for airport. No restaurants in the vicinity, so it is quiet.

We loved this hotel. The room was lovely and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the bedding was fresh and clean. The people were so nice. The breakfast was good and quaint. There is no elevator and there are two flight of stairs to get to the hotel, however upon arrival, the staff carried our suitcases up and when checking out, the staff carried our suitcases down the stairs. We would definitely stay here again.

Some of the electrical outlet didn’t work. Other than that everything else is real good.

Hotel is on the third floor, you will need to climb 6 flights. It wasn’t a problem for us, but it will be for those with health issues. There’s no elevator. This is the only negative point. The rest about this Boutique Hotel is only positive. I’m not sure why this hotel has only one star. I would easily give them at least three stars! Super clean, friendly staff, tasty breakfast, very quiet. I would definitely recommend if you prefer to stay away from the noisy, touristy streets of Florence. We walked from this hotel everywhere; so if you like walking, this place is perfect. Will stay there again!

The hotels in Florence are really expensive. I chose this one, which is considered expensive for me, but at least the reviews are good. The hotel is on the 4th floor. I can't remember how long I was afraid. There is no elevator. The downstairs floor is under renovation, so I almost didn't dare to go upstairs. After going up, I found that it is small, but very cozy, the decoration is also very tasteful, and the bedding is OK. After check-in, you will be given a WI-FI and door lock password paper. With the password on the paper, you can open the door on the 4th floor. With the same password, you can also open the door on the downstairs floor if you come back late at night.
Waking up to breakfast in the morning is the type that I am rarely satisfied with in Italy. There are not many kinds of things, but they are all exquisite and of good quality. Most Italian breads are cold and hard. A handsome guy in the store is making them. They are so hot that I actually ate two.
In addition to being expensive, and there is no elevator, everything is very good😁
