My experience at Hotel Duca D’Aosta was excellent. Erika at the front desk stood out with her kindness—always greeting guests with a smile and willing to go the extra mile to help. The location is unbeatable, just steps from the train station. Rooms were spotless, the rest of the staff equally welcoming, and the coffee was delicious. I will definitely return and recommend this hotel to anyone visiting.

Really lovely place in a great location. Erika was friendly, helpful and really welcoming. The room was clean, spacious, quiet and had a nice big bed! Lots of great free amenities including cold water and coffee! Was a great stay :) Really unsure why this is rated so low!

I had a lovely stay at the hotel! The newly renovated room was clean, stylish, and very comfortable. A special thanks to Erika at the reception — she was warm, welcoming, and always ready to help, which made the experience even better. While the lift is quite old, it didn’t affect my stay at all. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely come back!

A lovely place to stay! All the staff we meet are super helpful. There are Gluten free options for breakfast. We enjoyed our cocktail in the evening. Very easy and very short walk to Porta Pretoria. Parking is not always easy, so book in advance with the Hotel, they have only a few spaces.

My stay at Hotel Duca D'Aosta was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. The service provided by the staff was not only helpful but also incredibly kind.

The location of the hotel surpassed my expectations. Moreover, there was always coffee and water available for a break.

I am pleasantly surprised by the level of service and attention to detail offered by Hotel Duca D'Aosta. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay in the city for a very reasonable price. Thank you for making my experience truly unforgettable!

The hotel is located very close to the Santa Maria Novella railway station and can be easily reached. It is located on the second floor (with elevator) of a historic building with well-renovated rooms, with internal bathrooms and air conditioning. The windows and balconies do not offer a particular view, but the location allows you to reach the city center in about fifteen minutes on foot. The staff are friendly and helpful and the prices are fair considering you are in Florence. The breakfast is good and will serve in a pleasantly furnished room.
In the surroundings there are many restaurants.
The place is suitable for individuals traveling on business or families on a trip or on vacation.

The hotel itself is not so beautiful, but it gots everything you need and it's clean. It's close to the train station and the city centre as well. Ivan at the reception is like the most helpful person I've ever met.

If your looking for a down to earth well loved hotel that could do with some maintenance then this is it. I have to say the location and the service I got here is excellent. I was on my own so the owners giving me their number was cute. They even noticed I needed another pillow and gave me one after they cleaned and noticed, without me asking for one I might add.

One thing to note is that these guys are on the second floor. There is a lift but it's old and iffy. But otherwise for a cheap hotel I highly recommend.
