Reviews
Service from the front desk and breakfast was also great.
Bed is a little firm and rooms are small which I assume is just typical for Italy, especially in an older building. The shower and bathroom is really small. I'm 6ft 230lbs and it was a squeeze for me to get into the shower.
The shower is just a small detail....All and all, great experience
The room was cold! Which was much appreciated because it was 100 degrees f.
We liked the breakfast and Paulo was super friendly and lets us be around making us drinks at the bar until our train. Homey feel. Small elevator but nice big bathroom! GRAZIE!
The lights stopped working for about 10 minutes and there was no “do not disturb” sign. The housekeeper walked into our room. She was apologetic, and we weren’t upset, there was no sign how would she know. The breakfast was bread products and cold cuts, juice and coffee. No eggs, yogurt, fruit, vegetables. I’m celiac, so we had to eat somewhere else.
The room is in poor condition. There are holes in the wall and I have never seen pillows so thin. There’s a total of two pillows on a 2 person bed, which would be fine, but they are both pathetic. Thank goodness we only have one night here!
The bed is made up of two rock-hard twin mattresses laid side by side, with two thin pillows on it. There was one extra pillow in the closet.
The walls and moldings have holes, dents, and chips, and the room is dingy and dimly lit.
The bathroom seems okay, though the towel shelf has chipped and peeling paint.
