Hotel Palazzo dei Priori in Siena

I stayed at this hotel for a month because of work. The manager and owner of the hotel are extremely arrogant and rude. I recently found out that the owner was prosecuted several times for harassing young female employees and guests. The rooms are outdated and do not qualify for a 4-star rating. The mattresses are infested with bedbugs, I found a nest of insects and was in shock for a long time from this place as a whole. The shower is equipped with cold water and that's all. It was a miracle for me that sometimes there was hot water. To all these complaints, the owner of the hotel gave only empty promises and did nothing to fix the problems. There were problems with employees breaking into my room. In the morning they come and open the door without even knocking, which shocked me. the refrigerator did not work. There was no heating in winter. Also the location of the hotel is very far from the city. I would even say on the outskirts. The problem is getting to the center. You can take the bus, but only if you catch the last bus at 8 pm, but you have to walk back. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. I want to advise people to go to a hotel in the city center or rent apartments. It is much better.

Unfriendly manager. Got mad that I asked for aircon.
Told him that I think it’s broken and he responded with: “and?!” Saying it’s not included.
So I asked him how much it costs to include it. He responded with 5000 euro and laughed. Besides this, the fridge was broken.
35 degrees outside, and the room is even hotter than outside.
The next day he read my review. And he called us. My gf answered and he told her that I was uneducated😂😂 and that I got 1 hour to leave the hotel.
i topped up 1 star since he kicked us out after I wrote a bad review and reimbursed the money! Thank you. Now we at least could find something better for the price.

this is a most worst place, not a hotel more properly define it a hostel! they use Advertising sign "Best Western" but is not anymore part of them, over 5 years as I have already contacted the Best Western customer satisfaction!
ABOUT THE ROOM AND THE HOTEL:
Poor cleanliness, cold rooms, poorly decorated and poorly maintained room (tends to be spotlessly smelly and smelly, dirty carpets) The low cost breakfast of 10 € is really scarce and with limited choice. Other than 4 stars !!!! Not recommended.
Dirty hotel accessories in the bathroom destroyed towels with hair carpet in the obsolete and smelly and dirty corridor.
The water coming down from the shower was yellow and with a strange smell.
The furniture is essential with department store furniture. The bathroom has a sanitary ware that changed a decade ago. In the morning I was awakened by the bathroom drain of the nearby room. In order not to hear traffic, you need to turn on the TV. Upon my arrival at about 2 pm I found the open room window. The evening was not hotter and consequently cold in the room. I turned on the heating but did not work. I looked for an extra blanket in the cabinet: nothing at all.

ABOUT THE OWNER:
Extremely rude person, suspect of fraud for the invoice and after I've engaged a discussion about it, was made after my claim. Also, he seemed drunk as he tried to harass a receptionist in front of me.

A disappointing stay. Although there are beautiful views and ample parking the rooms themselves were dated, with barely functioning air conditioning. Breakfast was very limited. Not what you would expect from a four star hotel.

Overall quite a disappointing stay at this hotel. The rooms had very weak air conditioning, and decor is quite dated. The breakfast buffet is also lacking much variety. Only plus side was the decent view to the hills

Hotel was too far out of town. Couldn't find anything else for these dates because of the Palio horse race so we had to walk each day to this hotel in the countryside. Once there I can't really say I would recommend the place. The bed was comfortable but the floors seemed badly cleaned and the bathroom is really bad: dirty, very old shower and a door that doesn't lose properly. The hotel staff were weird and gave us really bad advice on buses (which we thankfully didn't follow). Breakfast left a lot go be desired. I won't be returning.
