It has its own parking lot, which is very convenient.
We used Siena as a base to explore several towns around Tuscany, which was very convenient.
We arrived at the hotel and parked in the first parking lot. There were plenty of spaces available, and there were three vacant spaces in the second parking lot.
1. Front desk clerk Daniel was extremely rude. He claimed our car might block other guests' parking, even though there were at least seven vacant spaces available. His unreasonable claim was unfounded. He then pointed out that we were parking outside the hotel, not in the hotel parking lot. I paid for my stay, which included parking on site, but the front desk staff didn't provide us with a suitable, secure parking space. This was extremely infuriating. Finally, we met a kind hotel staff member who allowed us to park in the first parking lot.
2. Daniel, the front desk clerk, ordered us to park our cars within four minutes after delivering our luggage to our rooms. Why did you limit me to four minutes? It's completely unreasonable and disrespectful to guests. The hotel has no control over their staff, which is extremely disrespectful to guests. Even the general manager didn't care about this matter and didn't apologize. This hotel has serious problems.
3. The hotel has seven vacant parking spaces, but they didn't allow us to park. This is unfair! Why can other guests park, but we can't?
The staff was also incredible! They were very accommodating and very friendly. Highly recommend this place!
Location is very convenient for central Siena (8 minutes walk into town) although it is a little up hill.
The Deluxe Room with Balcony was nice but balcony needed weeding. Older style furniture and amenities in the room, that are very typical of Italian hotels countrywide.
The room was comfortable and clean, with water offered complimentary in the room.
The food at the hotel restaurant, the one night i ate there was very tasty.
Breakfast was plentiful and tasty.
My one gripe with this hotel are the pillows and mattress. There were about 6 different pillows available and all of them made my neck feel stiff as a board in the morning.
