9.2
Chubu region, Atami, 10-1 Wadahamaminamicho, 413-8626 Atami, Prefektura Sidzuoka, Yaponiya 🧭 Map
I booked this hotel to watch the fireworks on the evening of the 26th. The price was double, and there were no ocean-view rooms left, only mountain-view rooms in the new building, which included breakfast and dinner for 4000 yen. It was still very expensive. Check-in was on the second floor of the old building. The staff was very inefficient, and their English was extremely poor, making communication...
All good but i feel a bit uncomfortable during my stayed. The staff was working like no sincere and care about customer. As foreigners we had a problem about laundry, car parking and onsen. It was may be language barrier but they even don’t tried to help and left it like that.
This hotel is located right across from McDonald's at Atami Station, where you can catch their shuttle bus that runs every 40 minutes. While waiting for the bus, you can explore Nakamise-dori shopping street. The famous Atami pudding had a long line, but it was pretty good. If you're heading to Kinomiya Shrine, you can find the same pudding there without the wait. I was very happy with the sea-view...
The hotel's facilities are really great. I chose a huge tatami room all to myself, though people from my country might not be used to sleeping on tatami. The only downside to the room was that the air conditioning was a bit noisy, but thankfully there's a door, and closing it helped a lot. Both the room and the restaurant face the sea and the harbor, so the view is absolutely unparalleled. As for the...
There is a free voucher for accessing the spa once.
Lovely hotel, I stayed for 2 nights and got 2 times free access to the Fuua Spa, the views are fantastic! And they got extensive options for breakfast too.

Nice hard bed, friendly staff. Close to castle and garden , but 20 minutes walk from station.
Best was the receptionist! A young and very professional gentleman that helped us with everything along our stay, he normally works in Kyoto but came for a week to the hotel in kanazawa. Hope to see you at the hotel insomnia KYOTO next time we pass through. Highly recommend this hotel! Some weights at the gym would have been the cherry on top of the cake :)
I think the check in process was very easy and their locker was free.
Beautiful brand new hotel located in a nice area in Kanazawa. The public bath is the cherry on top
The Square hotel Kanazawa was our favourite hotel in Japan so far. 15 minutes walk from Kanazawa Starion and in a great location for our short stay in Kanazawa (we now wish we had booked longer). We walked everywhere, including to the old Samurai district. 3 single beds, 2 were on a platform so that added a bit of Japanese authenticity (a bit). Lovely staff, public bath had tatto restrictions but that...
The hotel is clean and tidy, and there's a hot spring bath on the top floor. It's located near Omicho Market. I booked early and got a triple room for less than 300 per night, which was excellent value for money. I was very satisfied with my 4-night stay.

We enjoyed the amenities so much. The breakfast buffet is also delicous.😊
Big hotel with onsen and warm water swimming pool. Bed is comfortable. Yet breakfast variety sounds disappointing.
It’s in the middle of nowhere. Though it has been expected, but when we arrived, it is indeed Not near anything. The hotel provides shuttle service from the Kaga Onsen station.
Very nice big hotel with swimming pool and sauna. Also Jap Onsen .Room is very big compare to Jap standard.Food just ok not the best.

Room is clean, everything was good. Service is excellent.  just the location is 10 mins walking distance from the station.
Hotel is very nice, some walking distance from the station. Overall very good experience and love to stay here again soon.
With family trip, so pick this hotel , shuttle bus service , great to travel and close to station . With a church , staff who speak nice English! Also many trees nearby.
The room is spacious and well equipped. It's a bit far from Nagoya station and not many buses around the hotel. It's a bit inconvenient. There's shuttle bus available in the morning on weekdays. Longer service time on weekends. Maybe the hotel is busy, the lounge staff wasn't too friendly. I have short hair but I found a long hair on my bed under the blanket. Fuji Kawaguchiko Resort Hotel, Fujikawaguchiko1 / 15

Chubu region, Fujikawaguchiko, 4902 2 Funatsu 🧭 Map
Not a bad hotel after all. All the basic is there and is somewhat clean. Location is good. Bus stop is just right infront of the hotel easy. Nice view too
The room offers a direct view of Mount Fuji the moment you open the window. Both breakfast and dinner are buffet style. The room itself is a bit small, and the bathroom entrance has a raised threshold, so be careful when going in and out. I wasn't paying attention and accidentally tripped.
Need to call from Kawaguchiko Station for free shuttle pick up. Go to the Tourist Information Center to ask to call for you or there is a public phone at the station cost 10 yen per min. Free shuttle to the station as well. Yukata, toiletries are all self service at every floor in front of the lifts. This hotel has hot spring. Drinking water can be refilled at the ground floor beside the hot...
Great value for money. It's just over 900 meters from Kawaguchiko Station, and you can contact the front desk for pick-up and drop-off when you arrive or depart (they have staff who speak Chinese). The mountain-view rooms offer a view of Mount Fuji from one side of the window. The breakfast was also very good, and the shuttle bus driver, Sam, and other staff provided excellent and attentive service
I was lost in snow when finding the hotel entrance using Google navigation, luckily I met a nice and friendly resident who helped me to ask and fetched me to hotel. This was my first try on tatami style hotel, nice experience.
10mins walk to Kawaguchiko station. Getting the shuttle bus was troublesome, I’d rather walk. Onsen was a great touch, worth trying if you are not visiting a full-fledged onsen. Room was clean and comfortable. Yukata, comb, razor provided.

I had a wonderful stay at Orange House. The hotel boasts an elegant and tranquil environment, creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere overall. There weren't many guests during my visit, which made for a great experience. The hot spring water was excellent; after a soak, my skin felt smooth and delicate, truly helping to relieve travel fatigue. The food was also impressive; both the quality of...
This onsen is very affordable and offers great value for money. One of the best things is the availability of private onsen baths that don’t require any reservation—you can simply walk in and use them. There are quite a few private baths available, so the waiting time is usually very short or almost none. However, there aren’t many dining options nearby, so it’s best to come prepared, especially if...
This was the most pleasant surprise hotel on our trip to Izu! When I booked online, there were no twin rooms available, so I reserved a king-sized room. Upon arrival, I spoke with the front desk, and they graciously switched us to a Japanese-style room for a small additional fee. The decor was lovely, and the breakfast was excellent. The best part was the hotel's seven private onsen baths, available...

Nice service at the top floor bar and not too far from the station.
Very nice hotel. Very comfortable, rooms very nice. Lots of choices of restaurant within the hotel. It's a bit of a walk from the Niigata train station (10mins?) so if it's cold and snowing, maybe abit more challenging, but on a nice weather day, it's a pleasant walk. Staff are super nice. I requested more pillows and towels, and were brought to my room very quickly.
The premium queen room is fantastic. On the high floor with a lovely view of the mountains. Hotel is close to a shopping mall called Love La with Uniqlo, Muji, GU, CanDo and Aeon supermarket. There are also familymart and Lawson nearby. Food wise, McDonald’s and Matsuya (24hours) are walking distance 5mins. Room is quiet and great to stay!
Smooth check in and the admites are OK,
We booked a Superior Room 25 Sq m Location is not near Niigata Station But it’s Bandai Centre, lots of shopping & eating My friend was sick, front desk was helpful finding a clinic nearby.
Was given a room with 2 single beds. When I checked with the reception, they said their level 10 was under renovation and that my booking doesn't give me a choice. This is the first time I was told I don't have a choice to the bed configuration. Rooms are not sound proof. The service staff were very friendly.
The hotel is a bit remote and the facilities are a bit old. It takes 15 minutes to walk to Gusoyu (one of the attractions), and all the nearby shops are open after 5 pm, so if you arrive before 3 pm, it is very inconvenient to go out and find food! I took my mother, who has trouble walking, with me, and they provided a wheelchair for her, and a Japanese-Western style room for her, who has trouble getting out of bed, which was very helpful. Of course, the hot springs were also very pleasant, and my mother was very happy with them.
This Japanese-style hot spring hotel has complete facilities and the lobby is decorated in a very luxurious style. We arrived early and enjoyed the free afternoon tea and foot bath first. When we checked in at 3 o'clock, a waiter in kimono guided us to the door of the room, which was very considerate. After taking a bath, we had dinner on the 2nd floor of the hotel as scheduled. The staff is nice and the hotel’s location is very convenient to the central station. The room looks a little old but relatively spacious.
Stayed here for 2 nights. It was a nice stay.
Not too far from JR Station, and there's an underground passage (Exit 10) right next to the hotel that leads directly to the Higashiyama subway line, JR Station, and Meitetsu Station. Very well located but tired rooms and unappealing breakfast. Bathroom had steep step up and curtains did not darken the room. Staff was very pleasant and hotel was very clean.

You can take a stroll from the hotel to places like Kanazawa Castle. Korinbo was also within walking distance. The location is excellent, less than a 10-minute walk from Echigo-Yuzawa Station. There are convenience stores and restaurants nearby, so it's not a problem if you don't book breakfast or dinner at the hotel. The room was beautiful and had a lovely Japanese aesthetic. All the staff were very friendly. As a skier, I really appreciated that the ski shop on the slope offered ski and boot storage, as well as waxing services for a fee. The shuttle bus to the ski resort right down the hill was super convenient.
The buffet was a bit pricey. The slope was a bit scary, almost slipped. The hot spring was great, large, and beautiful. The room was spacious and comfortable.
I've stayed here many times! The service is excellent, and you really feel at home. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. I enjoyed the hot springs every day, which was wonderfully relaxing. They also offer complimentary amazake daily, which is delicious. The free lockers for luggage are a huge convenience. Plus, it's incredibly close to the station – practically right outside!
The hotel is visible right after exiting the west gate of Echigo-Yuzawa Station. You have to walk up a short slope to reach it. The hotel's hot spring was incredibly comfortable, and both breakfast and dinner were delicious! They even offered free amazake and coffee in the afternoon.

Really enjoyed our stay here! Service was amazing ! Rooms were spacious and comfortable
Ambiance: Excellent, surrounded by trees, very secluded and tranquil. Facilities: Very good. The breakfast was Western-style, but quite ordinary for a 5-star hotel standard.

A very mixed bag of a hotel. Located in the historic center, all the sights are easily accessible. Clean, friendly staff, but...a strange combination of an old hotel with a 60s-80s style and a modern renovation...vintage chairs and furniture and a modern plastic sink (they could have done everything in the same style). The hot spring is average. It's obvious they tried to renovate the bathrooms,...

Hakuchoro is a classic in Kanzawa, the decor is very tastefully done and the overall atmosphere has character.  It’s onsen is natural spring water and though the bath are relatively modest, it never gets crowded.  They provide free bus shuttles to and from the Kanazawa station and is a very helpful feature. ...
It's a great place to relax and enjoy with a small or large group. The midnight noodles were delicious! The illuminations were also a 10-minute drive away, so we enjoyed them.
We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the apartment and it is clean and comfortable. The hotel staff are all friendly especially Ms Lee, who speaks English very well . She was very helpful and friendly and so other the other staff at the reception . It is a customer friendly hotel . Highly recommended . Breakfast and dinner is excellent.
The room was spacious and I was able to relax. The food buffet was not enjoyed at all because even though the food had run out, it was not replenished. Also, the parking lot is small and only one car can be parked per room. I would like them to improve this.
Our family of six shared a room. The room consisted of two bedrooms and a tatami room where we slept on futons. However, the living room was unnecessarily spacious, and I think 30 tatami mats was more than enough. The kitchen was fully equipped and had basic tableware. There was a bath in the room, but there was also a large hot spring bath in a separate building where you could take a leisurely bath...
It might be a little inconvenient if you want to eat or drink around Ito Station... I recommend bringing your own groceries and having a fun time with your family.
