It was very clean and the service was good
We had a wonderful trip. The hotel's location was perfect and convenient. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious, and the hotel itself was beautiful. The breakfast and dinner were delicious, which we greatly appreciated. It was truly great value for money, and my friend and I had a comfortable night's rest. We will definitely choose this hotel again next time we come.
I had read in a review that the exterior of the hotel was old, so I was prepared for that, and I wasn't particularly surprised. The lounge in the lobby was stylish and had a resort hotel feel. The room seemed to have been renovated, and was a beautiful Japanese-Western style room with a lake view. Having a Japanese-style room was convenient because you could spread out your luggage freely. The toilet...
big hotel with separated spa to use, dinner and breakfast included the fee. Nice and helpful customer service
3 star hotel. Has a membership option. Bath was newly renovated, food reasonable. has a nice pool not to big though, during summer till August 31st.
They have a room for up to 4 people. There is a pool (summer only) and several tennis courts, in addition to a small game arcade and a table tennis table. I guess most rooms have a good view of the lake.

It’s absolutely one of three most beautiful hotels I’ve stayed at! Epitome of luxury in terms of art work n decor. The Moroccan spa in B1 is the best Onsen pool in Japan. Rooms are big n so quiet n comfy. Want to go back asap
Basically everything was excellent. The staff were considerate and helpful. I was impressed by the personalized hospitality. The only thing that bothers me is the breakfast, which needs improvement. I wish there were more options to choose from. Also, the timing of people coming to collect plates and used food was so quick that it didn't feel like a relaxing experience and it was very hectic. I came...
Traveling with family, the connecting rooms were so convenient!
From the guest-only entrance, you pass through a space surrounded by artworks to the reception desk, where you can enjoy the utmost in luxury. From both the reception and the restaurant, you can enjoy a spectacular view of Nagoya Castle all to yourself. With an unobstructed view all the way to the main citadel, you'll almost forget you're in central Nagoya. On the other hand, the guest rooms with a...
Loved it is correct but no more. How in any logic could the IDIOTS in Marriott HQ dispose of this property???? From the room you can get a direct view of that iconic Nagoya Castle. Now that it is in other hands, no value to stay there at the same prices. 🤔👹😤😎
Many thanks to all the staff that helped us to find the bag of our daughter that we forgot on the train from Tokyo to Nagoya. In 1 day the hotel staff were able to connect with the JR lost and found department and arrange for the bag to be in Osaka station just on time for out departure to Europe. The hotel is super traditional Japanese contemporary style. Great if you like the retro atmosphere. We...

I'd seen some reviews saying the facilities were a bit old-fashioned, but I actually found them to be perfectly fine. It was clean and hygienic, and the staff were very welcoming. Since it was winter, there weren't many tourists, so it was wonderfully quiet. We booked two twin rooms for our group of three adults and one child, and we were all really happy with the room views. We booked breakfast...
The room is quite spacious with a great design, and the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. The lobby is grand with stunning floor-to-ceiling window views. There are shuttle services to the hot springs and outlet mall nearby, but the most convenient thing is the train station! 👍
I brought my own snowboard to Karuizawa. It's a 70-minute Shinkansen ride from Tokyo Station to JR Karuizawa Station. The Shinkansen luggage racks have straps to secure snowboards. After exiting the station, head to the hotel service center (open until 7 PM) located on the far right of the 7/11 convenience store at the South Exit (Pic 7). You can drop off your luggage there and then explore the Plaza...
Facilities: Although old, everything is in working order. Hygiene: Clean and tidy. Environment: Very pleasant, you could spend days here without even leaving the hotel. Service: The hotel offers a shuttle bus, and if you miss it, the staff will even arrange a business car for you, which is very convenient.
The staff are nice and helpful . The room is well equipped and cozy . The shuttle bus service and transfer service is thoughtful . The view outside is fantastic . The onset is great !
True to its reputation as an established resort hotel, the rooms are spacious, and the environment is excellent. The shuttle service is incredibly convenient. After arriving at JR, you can drop off your luggage at the Prince Hotel reception and go shopping directly. By the time you check in, your luggage will already be in your room. Getting to the hotel was super easy, a direct bus from Fujikyu, and it drops you right at the entrance. Unfortunately, the hotel's hot spring was closed during my two-day stay. However, once they understood our needs, they quickly arranged for us to use the best hot spring nearby, free of charge, which was a fantastic experience! Plus, the restaurant and rooms offer breathtaking, unobstructed views...
The location is fantastic, right next to Fuji-Q Highland and with a direct bus connection. However, the rooms are at most a 3-star standard. The hot springs were very crowded, and the lack of a self-service laundry machine was a major inconvenience. Do *not* try the buffet dinner; the quality is incredibly low, clearly catering to tour groups with simple food and limited variety, which is completely...
Very close to Fuji Q. Have access to Fujiyama Onsen next door which looks popular among local people. Can see Fuji Mt from the lift when the weather is good.
Highland Resort & Spa Hotel is at excellent location, the express bus station from Tokyo is right by the door step. Although there is a theme park next door it didn’t seem to be open or busy. I booked a room for 3 nights with Mt Fuji view. And I was lucky enough to wake up to view of Mt. Fuji for 2 days. On the day I checked out, there was heavy snow, and I couldn’t see anything out of my window. ...
I love it. Very impressive on the falicity in the room and the hotel has direct pass to Fujiyama onsen for free! They has a free bus to go around the city. I bit hard to walk to Kawaguchiko station by yourself.
We love to stay here very much. Location convenient to everywhere. Free entrance to Fuji Q which just next door. Mt. Fuji view in the dining area! And we stayed Mt. Fuji view room. For sure will revisit!

A large tourist hotel retaining the atmosphere of the 1950s to 1960s, when group trips to hot spring resorts were popular. It enjoys considerable name recognition in the Tokai region, partly due to its commercials. This time, I joined a group tour specifically lured by the chance to stay here. ◆Room View of the sea, slightly toward the road side. It was on the 12th floor. Three power outlets. No free...
The rooms are lovely and the ocean view is beautiful. There are a lot of food options for all tastes at dinner and a very fun magic show while you eat. A great experience for us as visitors from overseas A will also give a mention to Ramayaji, who was very helpful and welcoming at the front desk. He helped us feel very comfortable and answered all of the questions we asked with kindness - a very good...
A couple will stay at the "Oceanfront Corner Room Plan" on Thursday, March 27, 2025. A long time ago, I stayed here for one night when my workplace rented it out for 1,000 people, and this is the first time I've stayed here since then. Currently, you can stay overnight on Saturdays and during busy periods (when schools are on long holidays), and the day spa seems to be operated in the same way, so...
So retro! My husband had great memories at this hotel when he was a boy, especially of the aquarium in the bath area. So we decided to take our son. It’s so retro and they even use the original song during the evening dinner show. The food was okay. I like that they even had self service nabe. I’ve never experienced that before in a hotel buffet service. They set up your futon during dinner. So...
The location needs quite a walk from nearest foods and town center, nevertheless rooms are great, peninsula view is amazing! Certain things can be improved though, like dining hall for meals, esp breakfast. Use of carpets can risk smell for the long term as well
The food was very good. The only disappointing thing was that even though it was Golden Week, there were mosquitoes everywhere in the large building that had overwintered, and my child was bitten by many of them. It was a shame that he was covered in insect bites at the end of April. Mosquitoes also came into the room from the hallway when the door was opened and closed. I killed 10 of them. Also,...

I visited this ryokan with high expectations, given its rich history and tradition, and I'm so glad to say it met them all. I made some wonderful memories here. While the cleanliness was a slight concern due to the nature of tatami flooring, I was completely satisfied with everything else, from the service and meals to the hot springs!
A very old but beautiful ryokan. The dinners and breakfasts are incredibly filling and varied. The grounds are very atmospheric and full of character. The open-air baths are a must-visit, especially during the momiji (autumn leaves) season.
It was a great experience! Very authentic and impressive.
This was truly a fantastic experience.  Everything was better than I'd imagined. I rarely think "I should come back here", but for this place, I'd make a special trip just to come stay again, even if for only one more night.
The best ryokan I have ever visited in Japan. You feel at home. It is located in a picturesque place with its own sakura alley, momiji. There is a bamboo grove. Breakfasts and dinners (kaiseki) are interesting and delicious. You can feel the constant attention of the ryokan staff. The onsens are varied and beautiful, after visiting them, my skin became very smooth. The rooms are historical, large,...
Fabulous stay at this beautiful ryokan. Staff was unfailingly helpful, attentive and kind, even though they spoke little English, and we speak even less Japanese. The meals were amazing and the five onsen were fantastic. Our stay was peaceful and restorative...just what we needed!

We stayed in a deluxe room in the South Wing as a family of three with an elementary school child. The exterior and interior had the atmosphere of an old-fashioned resort from the Showa era, but if you don't mind that, I think it's a great place. We stayed here when we went from Mt. Fuji to play golf, and the location is great. This was my second time staying here, the first being a while ago. The breakfast is quite varied and plentiful, and the surroundings are beautiful.
This hotel room was very small but clean and comfortable.
Excellent value for money, and you can see Mount Fuji from the window. There are also many restaurants nearby, making it a fantastic choice.
Overall, I had a great stay at Dormy Inn. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The onsen was definitely a highlight, clean, relaxing, and well maintained, great view of Mount Fuji! I came back because I had a good time there before. The service is good and the breakfast in particular is the best. I'll come again if I have the opportunity.
First of all, there's a large public bath, breakfast is included, and the price is very reasonable. We had a relaxing time as a couple, so we'd like to use it again. I wish the changing rooms were cleaned more frequently.
It's close to the road so the noise makes it hard to sleep.
Everything is great. I want to make this my regular place to stay in Hamamatsu ^_^
I like to stay at Route Inn business hotels whenever possible because the breakfast and the large public bath are attractive. On this day, the restaurant only offered take-out in the evening, which was a bit disappointing, but since it is near the interchange, there are plenty of restaurants nearby, so I was able to spend the night without any problems. I went to Hama Sushi, which is right next door...
Although it is artificial, there is a hot spring, which I used that day and the next morning. It was nice that the amenities were also installed. I still want to use it.

The accommodation was clean and the room was very spacious; I could easily fit two large suitcases at once. The breakfast was delicious. The staff came to collect the trash regularly. I have a suggestion: if you opt for a less-than-full-service cleaning, you'll receive two cans of beer. ❤️
The place was very welcoming and very nice, just a word of warning the ***** bath is not tattoo friendly, if you have small tattoos less than a size of a post card they can give you stickers to cover.
The location is not very accessible without a car, but it's a cheap and comfortable stay. And the hotel has a bathroom, so it's great for showering.
I stayed here on a family trip. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were also very helpful!
The hotel is clean and tidy, the room is comfortable, and the air conditioning is adequate. I'd like to thank the hotel staff for their willingness to translate for us and assist with our problem, even though we had to come to the hotel for some personal matters. Thank you very much. 😊👍
The hotel room was spacious for Tokyo standards; it was a simple, budget hotel. The onsen (hot spring) dressing area was rather small and required queuing. The staff were polite, but the cleanliness of the public areas was average compared to other hotels. Perhaps because I booked late, the price was relatively high.

This is a reliable Route Inn. I had dinner at the hotel restaurant for the first time, and it was delicious and worth the price. When we go out to eat, the driver always refuses alcohol, so it was nice to be able to drink without hesitation.
