Good breakfast, parking will cost 1000 yen. Only manage to get smoking room which smell very bad
The room is quite big and the bed is good. Can select different kind of pillow. But breakfast is so so. Not much variety
The hotel is located near Gaogang Station and has a large hot spring bath; the facilities are quite new.
Very nice and surprisingly spacious room. The daily cleaning was done meticulously. Food was decent, fried items are delicious. Really nice hotel if you want to explore Himi/Amaharashi and/or the more rural part of Toyama
The security guard at the parking lot was very kind. I was happy to receive umbrella rentals, towels for the car, and delicious coffee. I was also satisfied with the large public bath.
The hotel is very close to Takaoka Station, just a five-minute walk away, which is quite convenient. On rainy days, you can borrow umbrellas from the hotel without checking in, which is very convenient. The hotel breakfast is quite good and offers good value for money.

Great service! Dinner and breakfast were deliciously good!!! Will come back again!
The location isn't the most convenient, but the hotel offers a shuttle bus service, though with limited hours. It would be more convenient if you're driving, as there's plenty of parking available. The room was spacious with a great view of Lake Kawaguchiko. You can even see Mount Fuji from the observation deck upstairs.
The front desk staff speak English, which was helpful for communication. Breakfast...
Bus stop located right in front of the hotel entrance however with very little frequency. Hotel does provide free shuttle service to and from Kawaguchiko station.
This hotel isn't bad overall, but for the price, you could probably find something better!
The staff were very polite, and the transportation was convenient with a dedicated shuttle service. The food was different both nights and tasted great! I'll definitely come back again.
Good experience of traditional Japanese tatami living. Food serving was good and interesting experience. Onsen is good and clean.
Spa facilities: Massage, Sauna, Spa and wellness centre
It has good public bath facility
Nice, clean place a short walk from the train station. Room is a good size for one person. I like that pajamas is provided.
Nice, clean place a short walk from the train station. Room is a good size for one person. I like that pajamas is provided.
I think it's passable as a business hotel. The facilities are old and the rooms are a little dark. It was nice to have a large public bath.
I wanted a bottled water in the room. Even though it's in front of the station, parking is expensive at 500 yen in Ueda. Breakfast was advertised as 1500 yen, but it actually cost 1800 yen. The internet is poorly maintained.
I stayed here for two days and one night! It was a very convenient hotel, about a five-minute walk from the station and close to tourist attractions! I think it's a good hotel for business trips or those who want to take their time strolling around the city!
Close to subway. It is easy to go around shopping mall
Except the bathroom, everything else is good.
It was very convenient as it was close to the downtown area of Imaike. The staff were very happy with the new facility. I recommend it for business trips and solo travelers.
The room was clean and very comfortable, thank you

The hotel's breakfast tomorrow is delicious.
I stayed here last year as well, and the bath was amazing.
The room was clean and the amenities were well-prepared, which was great. I'd like to stay here again.
It was a super retreat and very peaceful! The staff was very friendly :)!
The air conditioning vents were covered in dust, which was uncomfortable. The bathroom was very nice.
I stayed here on a solo trip. To be honest, I didn't have high expectations beforehand. Since it was a weekday, there weren't many people, so I was able to relax and enjoy the large public bath and sauna. Before my bath, I had curry and boiled dumplings at the restaurant on the second floor. I still felt a bit hungry after my bath, so I went to an izakaya on the second floor. The portions were good...
Service staff were efficient, although queueing to trade your keys for your shoes slowed things down. (Understandable, because this is also a day-trip onsen, so the hotel needs to ensure all tabs are covered before letting guests go.)
Facilities were old but well-maintained, although my room window couldn't be closed without force. Wide variety of baths to choose from, and convenient hours.
Note that...
Good location, parking available onsite. Hotel provided free soba and cup noodles!
Their breakfast buffet stands out as always, featuring local Fukui specialties like soba and sauce katsu. Together with the tonsen and free night-time ramen, all these provide incredible value.
The hotel's location near the JR station is very convenient, and there's a department store right next door. The hotel itself is quite new and the room facilities are excellent. What I love most about the Dormy Inn group are their hot spring facilities and their thoughtful breakfast selection. This particular location feels just as good as Onyado Nono.
The location is good and maybe there is more people choose to stay here. Good to have more lifts to help serve the crowd
I had a great stay here. Staff were always very friendly and helpful, breakfast was tasty as were the 21:30 noodles. Onsen was hot and relaxing. I’d defintely come back
Good location, nearby fukui station, lot of restaurants surronding. Room was very clean, exceptionally clean in bathroom, with plenty of space, but the design was not quite making good use of space.
The hotel provides free late night snack at restaurant and welcome snacks & drinks in room.
There were times when the noise from the hallway was a little loud.
Not so good. The quilt was not clean on the first night. I called the front desk to report the situation and asked for the quilt to be changed. They told me: there are no quilts and they are a bit dirty... If that doesn't work, just change the room. "But the luggage was all there, so I didn't want to move it, so I just slept one night with my clothes on. The quilt was clean the next day.
There is a duty-free supermarket next door which is very convenient
It is also very close to the urban MRT entrance.
Poor free breakfast. Just because it's free, think again.
Typical old school japanese. Good staff and location
Old hotel with old services and old beds and old smell.
Quiet location
The room was small and squeezed but okay. I did not like the fact that they did not have a comfortable reading desk.
I always use this hotel because it's close to the station, clean, and the breakfast is delicious. However, some of the front desk staff can be inefficient, and a few have a cold demeanor or tone. It's a shame for such a good hotel.
The hotel is very good. especially the breakfast is very delicious from 6:40am to 9:30am, a bit short but many varieties. Also good location very close to the train station.
The room was clean and comfortable. All amenities were provided in the bathroom. Water bottles were provided free of charge in the room. Very conveniently located to the station, but not noisy.
The location offers excellent transport links, but the room was absolutely tiny.
Every staff member, from the reception desk to the housekeeping staff I encountered in the hallways and the restaurant team, provided excellent service. The grand public bath was amazing; I enjoyed a soak both at 5 AM and again after breakfast. The hotel's convenient location meant there were plenty of convenience stores, fast food options, and restaurants right downstairs. I'd love to visit again...

Had a great time at this resort hotel! Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable! Had a great experience with all the ground staff. Breakfast, Lounge access staff were all excellent! Special thanks to Miyata, the lady in short hair with black jacket and trousers. They were lovely and super helpful and friendly.
Good services, bed room is clear and comfort! Williing to go again!
Despite being a Marriott Bonvoy Platinum member, I was disappointed to find that lounge access and breakfast were both chargeable. I was told that such services are not included with bookings made through Trip.com. Had I known this beforehand, I wouldn't have booked, making this a truly disappointing trip.
A great hotel in Karuizawa. Free parking is available if you're driving, and the breakfast is excellent value for money. (Renting a car is best for exploring this area)
A nice hotel in this area. Room is spacious, comfortable beds. Location is a bit out of the popular area. It is fine if you are driving. Breakfast is nice with most things that you need. The onsen bath area also quite big with outside bath.
This was my first time staying at the Karuizawa Marriott Hotel. The public onsen has both indoor and outdoor baths, and while the facilities were clean, the area was a bit small. The room itself was very spacious, clean, and the environment was quiet. The hotel breakfast offered a wide variety of choices. Highly recommended!

Recommending to stay in dormy inn Kofu 😍
service is very nice, clean hotel
Service was excellent but rooms are a bit small for the price. Breakfast buffet was excellent.
Great place. Nice location near the station and main attractions and restaurants. Onsen was also great, nice views from the top
Very good as a japanese stand .Hot spring so very good .Staff so nice
A comfortable and thoughtfully designed stay in Kofu!
This was a very pleasant stay at Dormy Inn Kofu. The room was immaculately clean and well-organised—everything from the twin beds to the compact yet functional sink and vanity area was spotless and efficient. The design is simple but warm, with clever use of space. I loved the convenience of having a large mirror and a mini fridge right by the...
There aren't many people in Atami during winter, which is nice. The seaside hotel is pretty good. They have a shuttle bus service to and from the station, and it's not far from the beach or convenience stores. The hot spring bathhouse is huge, and the hotel even gave us complimentary drink vouchers. Recommended!
The sea view room was amazing! The room was spacious and very clean, and the shuttle service was super convenient. We visited so many places and watched the sunrise every day. Absolutely fantastic, we'll definitely be back to stay again! I've already recommended it to my friends.
On our second day in Atami, we switched to the Resorpia Hotel by the sea. Since we were coming from another onsen hotel, we took a taxi directly to the 1st floor. Guests can only access this hotel by walking down from the 9th floor on the hill.
The location is fantastic; we could see the ocean right from our room's balcony. The next morning, we could even watch the 'Tangerine Sea' sunrise 🌅 from bed...
Excellent, I really enjoyed it! The hotel's location is great, and the shuttle service is very efficient.
The dinner was a set menu, and the only edible thing was the side dishes, especially the pickled radishes. The dinner was extremely disappointing. As for the hot spring, there's only an indoor one, no outdoor facilities, and the space isn't very big either.
The room was quite spacious and well-equipped, clean and hygienic. The bed, towels, and bedding were all very good. The main highlight was the large room with beautiful views, and watching the sunrise in the morning was absolutely fantastic. The hotel also has its own hot spring that you can enjoy anytime.

Good location and room is clean.
3 days booked but just 1 mineral water served. It’s good to serve 1 drink every day.
I stay here every year.
The hotel facilities are generally old and can be inconvenient, but the great location and gorgeous breakfast buffet keep me coming back.
One thing that was a bit disappointing this time, and not all of it, is that the quality of the staff seems to have gone down.
In particular, during the breakfast buffet, which I love, it was still far from over, and even though I wanted to...
The building is old, but it's close to the station and a convenience store, and the receptionist was very nice.
I stayed in different rooms for two nights, but unfortunately there was no free water on the second night, which was a shame.
The hotel has a good location; it's right next to the right after exiting Hamamatsu Station. The room is also quite spacious, and the view from the window is nice. However, the facilities are old, the air conditioning can't be adjusted, and you need a key to open the door. Breakfast is simple, with Hamamatsu gyoza (dumplings). Perhaps because it was the weekend, the price of over 1590 RMB per night...
I stayed here two weeks in a row while traveling to my favorite artist's concert.
It's just a stone's throw from Hamamatsu Station, has a 24-hour front desk and can store your luggage, so it was easy to get around.
Now that I think about it, the first time I stayed there there was a free bottle of water, but there wasn't one the second time...(´・ω・`)?
The hotel had a great location, visible from the station. It is a very big hotel, but a bit old. The room was spacious and had all the basic necessities. I appreciated that it had a large bathtub as well. Unfortunately, I was there for a concert, so I didn’t spend much time exploring the facilities or interacting with the staff, but what little I did, I didn’t find anything lacking. For the first night...

📍 Dormy Inn Kofu ドーミーイン甲府 @ Yamanashi, Japan 🇯🇵
We stayed 2D1N on 12 November 2025 at Dormy Inn Kofu, and the overall experience was excellent. We drove directly from Haneda Airport, and the journey took around 3 hours due to traffic jam along the Tokyo express highway. The hotel’s onsite parking was very convenient, and the parking security staff were extremely helpful and friendly, guiding us clearly...
Happy with my stay. Rooms were clean, corridors were quiet, staff were helpful. The onsen was great, helped me recover after hiking Shirane Sanzan.
Good location and price is reasonable. Will recommend to friend

The place was in the center of a lot of restaurants/bars, which is just located below. Staff were very helpful and professional. The onsen was amazing with an indoor and outdoor spa.
My only complaint is that the pillow was too hard.
Spa facilities: Massage, Sauna, Spa and wellness centre
Everything was good, a bit pricey but convenient. Driving to the hotel is easy and there is free parking for hotel guest, just let them know so they will pass you the exit coupon.
The Mount Fuji view really get the full view and shiok to wake up to such a nice view!
Driving from tokyo down to hotel clad wasn’t a pleasant and easy drive. But the view was amazing. Onsen was fabulous. Connected to gotemba outlet mall.
Nice onsen with view of Mount Fuji if the weather is good
Checkout timing is 10 am
Unfortunately was not able to see the Mount Fuji during our stay. We still had a great night here. The free public hot spring was great. Would love to come back again next time when visiting the outlet.
The hotel's location is excellent. It's only a 10-minute walk from Gotemba Premium Outlets. You can take a bridge from the 6th floor of the car park, and there's even a prime spot on the bridge for taking photos of Mount Fuji.
Unfortunately, it rained and snowed on both the day of arrival and the next day, and it was shrouded in heavy fog. Sigh.
The dinner buffet costs ¥5,500, and breakfast is included...
9/10, the hotel facilities are new, highly recommended. They also offer private onsen bookings.
Booked room with the onsen and it was a nice touch but it might cost a bit... nevertheless the service was good and they do have free shuttle. Just take note its just to the station. If you would like to visit Shuzenji temple, you gotta get down and walk the other direction. Breakfast has a wide variety. 👍🏻
P.s. try checking in earlier, cause when it gets dark, its might be difficult to find your...
This is good for family vacation. Extremely nice area. Next time I will stay longer
Nice hotel with great environment, located in the mountains where the nature is great 👍
The hotel is clean and the room is spacious, if you’re into Zen etc then it’s perfect location for that, Otherwise you will need to resort to shuttle bus and in our case we rented a car to get around the local areas. I didn’t know that regardless of you use it or not you will be charged for the onsen fee, which no one tell us at check in, it’s a small thing but it would be nice to be told everything...
Fantastic hotel. The room was spacious, new, and offered a direct view of Mount Fuji, complete with a private in-room onsen. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful.
This is a very comfortable resort and spa hotel. It has a huge footprint and a typical American hotel style. The rooms are comfortable, and the balconies come with private hot spring baths that are kept at a constant temperature 24/7 with flowing hot water. It's a wonderful blend of Japanese onsen culture – meticulous yet incredibly relaxing – allowing you to enjoy a hot spring experience without even...

We stayed here after hiking Mount Kitayokodake.
There were many families with children. I've been on weekdays before, and if you choose your time carefully, the baths and restaurant aren't too crowded. The open-air bath is wonderful! It's luxurious to have it almost to yourself for most of the time.
The room we stayed in was quite old, and we found two toilet bugs. It was extremely dry, so we set...
We chose this facility because it had a large kids' area. In fact, our child played in the kids' park until the very last minute, and we were able to let him play plenty inside the facility as well.
The hot springs were incredibly clean. The open-air bath overlooking the mountain stream was very relaxing. The rooms were also clean and comfortable.
I stayed in a twin room on September 1, 2025. It was very busy with tourists, and the front desk was congested. The food buffet was more about quantity than quality, so I ended up overeating. I could hear the movement of guests on the floor above me and the sound of water leaking from the drain pipes. Water was leaking from the floor of the unit bathroom. The toilet was child-sized, and the hot water...
Nice hotel with beautiful hot springs. Both dinner and breakfast were great, although quite a lot of people. Also, it’s a family hotel, so if you don’t like being surrounded by children, cannot recommend.
The price seemed a little high because it was summer vacation, and the room was small and not very nice.
Both the buffet dinner and breakfast (first thing in the morning as they get crowded) were delicious and very satisfying! The large public bath and open-air bath were easy to use and relaxing. Our room (a Japanese-style room on the fifth floor) had a dated feel, and we could hear the sounds from the next room, but we just had to be careful. The staff were all very kind, and it was a very comfortable...
However, if you're just staying overnight, you'll be very satisfied with the facilities, parking, etc.
I think it would be difficult to ask for anything more.
Due to my mistake, I booked a different accommodation than I wanted, but they handled it kindly and I was able to stay there without any problems.
I was confused when I was leaving the parking lot. I didn't realize that I had to pay the same amount as the subsidy, and I ended up causing trouble for the car behind me. I'm sorry.
Parking is available, and the fee is included in the room rate, so it's easy to understand and doesn't require separate payment. We stayed with two adults and two children, so we chose a room with two single beds, but we were able to push the single beds together and sleep comfortably! They also provided amenities for children, such as toothbrushes and baby wipes, which was very helpful.
Buffet breakfast was very nice. Room had previously had someone smoking in the room so the room and bed sheets smelled like smoke.
Stayed overnight for a visit to a nearby facility. Access by car is good. Parking lot is small but adequate.
It was an amazing decision to stay at Shimoda hotel. The location is good. We arrived easily. The room is spacious and the beds are comfortable too! Not to mention the dinner that we reserved was very interesting and a spectacle! We were quite lucky because there was fireworks in the area so we saw them from the restaurant in the hotel. I'd say the breakfast is also very worthwhile since there is a...
It was a great experience. The room has a very beautiful view of the sea, it's a real fantasy. And it will take very little time to walk from the hotel to the sea - about 10 minutes.
I also really liked the onsen.
I would like to note the convenience of shuttles - they run frequently and do not need to be booked in advance.
The rooms were very clean.
The overall impression is wonderful.
Beautiful ocean view from the room. The room is clean and spacious. The location is on uphill. Can’t imagine walking uphill without car. Plenty of parking lots. Nice and relaxing holiday!
The hotel's a bit far out, but the shuttle service makes it super convenient, and it's great value for money! The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and I even managed to catch a yoga class, which was a fantastic experience!
The room was great. We booked with our child, so the hotel had an extra bed prepared in advance. The hotel's location offers beautiful views, overlooking the stunning Koda Beach, but it requires hiking up and down hills to get there. If you don't book dinner at the hotel, it can be a bit inconvenient as the nearest convenience store is quite far and also involves uphill/downhill travel. The path to...
The hotel's environment and facilities truly exceeded expectations. The beautiful scenery was captivating, there's a pool, and a small beach is nearby at the foot of the hill. Both dinner and breakfast were plentiful. I'd love to stay here for a few more days next time.
The room is very clean and the space is quite large compared to other Japan hotels. Really enjoyed the staying here!
The room had a strange odor, which I didn't like. It was spacious enough though. The staff seemed a bit grumpy, but I'll still give it four stars, even if it wasn't quite up to expectations. There were a lot of people checking in for the Lantern Festival.
The staff was very nice, very helpful and good English, spacious room, clean and great amenities, near Kanazawa Castle, traditional Omachi market, very close to Kanazawa Station (walking around 20-30 minutes)(public transport starting operation 7 30 in the morning) and near to public bath house (Onsen), will return to stay next time
2nd time staying here, it’s very convenient as it’s walking distance to Omicho market and oyama shrine, which also leads to Kanazawa castle park and kenrokuen garden.
Clean and a decent size for the price, had no problems staying here so far. Staff are friendly and helpful w
The hotel is in an excellent location, just a short walk from Omicho Market, Kanazawa Castle, and the garden. The room size and amenities are quite good. The staff were friendly and provided great service; they kindly kept our luggage safe even after we checked out, allowing us to enjoy another half day exploring Kanazawa before leaving this beautiful city.
Had a fantastic stay at the Kanazawa Inn! The location is superb, within walking distance to attractions like Kenrokuen Garden. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and quite spacious. They offer complimentary tea all day, plus free afternoon tea and even evening ochazuke. The staff were friendly, the decor is modern, and it's great value for money. Highly recommend!
