The hotel couldn't be better, the service was first class ~ there were Chinese service staff as well. All rooms have private baths, which are very comfortable. Great hotel. Lovely service at the front desk. We booked a smoking room as that was the only one available for the 6 of us, but it did not smell too bad of smoke. Lovely big room. The only minus is that it is a long way (1.5km) to walk to Isawa Onsen station. Loved the gardens.

The temperature of the hot spring in the large public bath was not too hot and was just right for a comfortable bath. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of stewed dishes and was delicious.

High cost performance, the room is relatively large, but I booked a garden view room, but I was given a room without a view. There is an open-air hot spring, a private bath, a bed, and a tatami.

I was taken to the station by bus. The temperature and quality of the hot springs were good. It's hot, but the temperature is high enough for a long bath. After I got up, it stayed slippery forever.

They kindly upgraded our room on the day of arrival! The location was super convenient for getting anywhere, and my boyfriend and I really enjoyed the private bath, which had flexible hours. There was coffee and tea available at the front desk, which we took with us when checking out. It's a really great hotel!

Be careful that the actual room is not the same as trip shown. Everything is good but the room wasn’t my expected. Finally trip.com refunded me a certain amount, fair enough. Look at my photos, if you accept such a room paying this price, go for head, with free-spa, no complain. Just because it wasn’t what I wanted😂😂

Our family had a wonderful vacation! The hotel offered a half-board package with generous food portions, and my child even received a welcome drink. The hotel was very clean and conveniently located close to the ski resort, which was perfect for taking my kids out to play in the snow.

The tatami is very comfortable and I like it very much. The outdoor hot spring is great. Snowflakes are floating in the sky, and I can enjoy the snow-capped mountains and tree hangings while soaking in the hot spring! The staff are especially friendly and enthusiastic. It's a steep climb from Echigo-Yuzawa Station. If you arrive before 6pm, you can contact the hotel's shuttle bus service. The cable car station is right next to the hotel, making it very convenient to go to Yuzawa Plateau. The room is large, very suitable for a family vacation.

1. Far from train station, as there are many much closer to train station 2. Breakfast is not so good. 3. Very stick, only allow to check in to room only 10min before 3pm even through the room is available.  4. Hotel back entrance is connected to the snow resort. this is plus point.

Very very warm and friendly staffs!! Definitely one of the cleanest and best maintained hotel I have visited, and worths a second visit next time. Just a 10 mins short walk and you can reach all popular attractions in Takayama including the Old Street.

We went as a group and we loved the ryokan. It was very spacious, everything was very clean, and it was conveniently located near the bus station, the train station, and the city center where most of the shopping takes place. This hotel is located in the Akasawa area, between Izu Kogen and the Izu Okawa River. You'll need to walk along a small road to get there, making it more suitable for those traveling by car. Each room is essentially a small building, equipped with a refrigerator and microwave. You can buy groceries from a convenience store or supermarket. Highly recommended for those who are afraid of mosquitoes.
