Kansai region, Osaka, 1-3-5 Nankokita, Suminoe-ku 🧭 Map
Since I was staying overnight, I just needed a room where I could sleep, so a small room was fine. The best thing was that the large public bath and open-air bath were spacious and clean, and were great for soothing my cold body. I was surprised that most of the staff were foreigners, but they had studied Japanese thoroughly and I thought the service was adequate.
Breakfast was okay. The breakfast was not a buffet, but a choice of one plate or curry, and rice and soup were free to refill. It was a one plate meal, but it was very filling.
Most of the nearby restaurants close around 10 PM, so I recommend eating before heading in. If you haven't eaten, there are no convenience stores or supermarkets nearby, so you'll have to walk about 10 minutes. The hotel parking lot is small, so you'll have to use a nearby paid parking lot, which costs 2,000 yen per night. I hope this helps!
The location is quite far away from down twon;
We booked twin room with two single beds while they gave us a single room with two beds, it makes the room becomes so tiny and we are unable to open our suit cases.
Besides, the parking spaces are very limited, we can only park our car in front of the hotel's front door.
While the service of the staff is very good, and the sento is so nice and the breakfast...
Excellent location, just two minutes away from subway station but in a quiet area away from the noise of the city. Lots of places to eat nearby. Friendly and helpful staff who helped me to book my reservation for Tiananmen Square.
I booked a 4 bed female dorm - the room was fairly small but there was large lockers so the small room wasn't really an issue and it was only fully occupied on my last night...
It’s quite far to Osaka downtown, there’s no toothpaste and toothbrush

The hotel was quite okay & the location was good as it was near stations.
We came to Kyoto for three nights and checked into this wonderful hotel. It's within walking distance of a very large and bustling train station filled with shops, perfect for buying souvenirs, for example! There's also a shopping mall near the hotel, though we never made it there.
We really liked the hotel itself; it's clean, cozy, and offers good service. The breakfasts are delicious and varied...
hallways smelt of smoke a bit. would stay here again, staff were nice and room was cozy.
very clean, friendly staffs and great breakfast. very closed to Aeon mall Kyoto and metro&bus station.
About a 10min walk from Kyoto Station. Room for one in the main building was the standard business hotel (Bed, table/desk, bathroom). Also has a side building/annex but not sure of the rooms there. Has a restaurant and a large bathing place as well.
Notable service that I used was the Luggage Delivery service via Kuroneko Yamato that they offered. I was able to get rid of my large suitcase that I...
Stayed 1 night as a solo traveler. Great location near Kyoto Station—very convenient for sightseeing. Room was small but spotless and had everything I needed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Perfect for a short, comfortable stay in Kyoto.

Spacious room with spectacular sea view! The room is tidy with great air quality. And the lounge provides a great variety of wine and drink to enjoy the sunset and other great moments during stay.
The buffet was quite crowded, offering a wide variety of food. The coin-operated laundry machines and smoking area were well-equipped. The room amenities included everything except a razor. You can wear yukata and slippers throughout the hotel, and there's a great drink bar available in the evening.
location abit far , but facility are good. You can rent toys to play , table tennis , ground golf. You can watch sunset in the room
The location is a bit far from downtown area, room inside is a bit old, but they have refurbished the entire hall, lift etc. and the hot spring was fantastic! The breakfast selection was very impressive as well, so many selections!
Driving is more suitable for guests. Location is 9 km away from town. Evening free flow drinks.
Good seaview hotel

One of the best place to stay for solo travelers.
Top tier cost efficiency, attention to details in terms of sauna
Premium room is excellent if you have more budget

The capsule hotel is worth more than it charge. The location is great close to JR & Namba stations. Friendly staff, comfy rooms, with TV & a locker.
İf they do not send you 10 am it will ve better. But it is fantastic. See you next year
This hotel is located in Shinsaibashi, about a ten-minute walk from Namba Station. The area is quite lively, with plenty of restaurants still open in the evening. The internal facilities are decent; the capsule is standard size, but it can get a bit stuffy.
Everything is fine exept the thinnest and hardest pillow I've ever seen in my life. A bit old amenities add a touch of true charm to here. They speak a bit English.
The only unpleasant point was my communcation about the locker key I couldn't find in the morning. They immediately asked me to pay 7.000 yen as for lost item, not even suggesting to wait for it to be found by staff or guests, as I hadn...
Locals don’t usually come here to sleep — they come to wash, relax, and go through the full spa ritual.
There are three types of steam rooms, a circular shower, and three baths:
two hot ones at around 41°C, and one cold shock bath at around 11°C.
You dip in and instantly feel alive.
One unique feature — every hour they run a group steam ritual, like a collective massage & heat therapy session. Very...

I've stayed at Dormy Inn hotels near Mount Fuji before, and this time I tried their Tanimachi location. While getting to popular commercial areas requires a few transfers, the hotel itself is excellent and offers fantastic value for money.
The room was good. Although small, it was enough for a family of three. I booked a twin room, but it didn't have a bathtub. The hotel switched me to a room with a tub. The bed was smaller, but still comfortable enough to sleep in. After soaking in the hot spring every day, there were free ice cream sticks to enjoy to your heart's content, and Yakult in the morning. For this alone, it deserves a full...
Very clean, excellent. Consistent service as always. Small but has everything you need.
Our stay at Dormy Inn Osaka Tanimachi with the kids was absolutely fantastic! The room was spacious enough for the children to move around comfortably, and the cleanliness was top-notch. The bedding felt incredibly soft. The hotel's natural hot spring was a huge hit – the kids loved it, and it was so relaxing for the adults too. The staff were super friendly and always ready to help with any questions...
The room was very comfortable, and the front desk staff was excellent; they even allowed us to check in early. You can opt to visit the hot springs in the afternoon when it's less crowded and peaceful. The cold drinks are from Hershey's, which is a nice touch. And you absolutely must try the ramen they offer in the evening – it's fantastic! Plus, there's an amazing tonkatsu restaurant nearby, about...
The hotel isn't large, but it's well-designed. There's a hot spring upstairs which is very clean. It's about a 7-8 minute walk from the subway station, so it's easy to find. Plus, there are three supermarkets right outside, which is super convenient.

Location is good. Easy to assess. Booked for city view but given a closed window request for a change but a carpark view. Just abit disappointed cos booked for a city view for night but not accordingly to the booking given.
Overall is ok.
The room was clean and tidy, and the customer service was professional and polite. The facilities were complete, and the lobby had a beautiful lounge area with free coffee. My requests made through Ctrip customer service before check-in were also met. Most importantly, the location is excellent, with many great food options nearby and beautiful scenery. Highly recommended.
Spacious room. Not crowded hotel. Very convenient location. Near 2 metro stations and street shopping. Comfortable bed.
The layout is well-designed, and the room is spacious. Pulling back the curtains was a delightful surprise: a lively yet serene snowfall. I went down to the hotel's lobby for a cup of matcha and enjoyed the beautiful view.
Traveling from Osaka to Kyoto, I stayed at the Cross Hotel for two nights, and overall, it met my expectations. The room was clean, tidy, and had a Japanese-style feel. I had such an amazing stay at the Holiday Inn Express Osaka City Centre and would absolutely stay here again when visiting Osaka.

Why did they give us a room on the 14th floor? For our entire 3-day stay, we were the only Chinese guests, and the room was so small we couldn't even open our luggage. The hotel isn't right in the heart of Umeda, but on the upside, it's much quieter. It's about a 10-minute walk to Hankyu and a 15-minute walk to Hanshin, which is totally acceptable. The room was really spacious for Osaka standards, and we had a very comfortable stay. There's also an amazing yakitori place nearby called Matsuri that's a must-try!
The InterContinental Osaka is, without a doubt, the best hotel I've ever stayed in when it comes to service. The housekeeping is virtually perfect; even the toiletries and skincare products on the bathroom counter are artfully arranged. The hotel's location is excellent – you step right out and start shopping. Plus, the rooms are incredibly spacious. A huge thumbs up!
Great location, and the room had a fantastic view and was very spacious. It's hard to find such a large room in Osaka, so I'm very satisfied.
The hotel's location is excellent, with great transportation links to all areas, making it convenient to get anywhere. The room is also very spacious, especially for Japan. However, the breakfast was just average and not very varied. Overall, it was decent, and I would consider staying at the Intercontinental again if the price is right next time.
Excellent stay! The room was very spacious, and the facilities and service were consistently up to InterContinental standards. Overall, this hotel performs well and is a solid choice for business accommodation.
In terms of facilities, the rooms are on the more compact side for a business hotel, and the air conditioning only offers fan speed adjustment. However, all equipment is functioning properly and meets basic usage needs.
Hygiene is well-maintained, with no noticeable issues found.
The surrounding area is very convenient...
The hotel's location is excellent; it's just across a small street from an elevator entrance to Higobashi Subway Station, making subway travel incredibly convenient. For a single room, it's quite spacious – I could even open up my 28-inch suitcase. Plus, the hotel's decor feels quite new overall. I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Osaka.
This is a great hotel. Check-in, getting around, and check-out are all very convenient. The hotel has excellent facilities, consistently good as always. Downstairs, there's a buffet and a duty-free drugstore, and there are all sorts of restaurants nearby. It's about a 15-minute walk to Umeda and the airport bus stop. Superb!
The hotel's location is decent, quite close to the subway station. However, be aware that the subway line going towards Umeda leads to Nishi-Umeda, which is still quite a distance from Umeda Station itself. The room was small, and the bathroom was tiny. The hotel is overall OK, nothing that outright fails.
However carpet is a bit worn. Pillow is not the usual medium soft fluffy type, some kind of beads inside, which me and my wife are not used to. The spare bed i slept on was too soft and gave me a bit of backache.

The location is great, just one subway stop from Umeda and very close to the station, probably within 300 meters.

Its location is incredibly convenient, with JR and Hanshin lines right outside the hotel. Just two right turns from the hotel entrance, there's a fantastic ramen restaurant with a very noticeable sign. Highly...
The hotel's location is excellent, with very convenient transport links. It's very close to both the commercial center and Universal Studios, and there are plenty of local eateries nearby. We noticed many Chinese guests staying here. The hotel also provides a shuttle bus service to Kansai Airport; however, I didn't look into the specifics, so it might have limited schedules and require advance reservations...
This is my fourth time staying at this hotel, and it's still a triple room. The space is decent, and the location is convenient. My only suggestion for improvement is that the sofa in the triple room might be old, as it has a peculiar smell.

For Osaka, it’s great. The rooms are above average in terms of size. The breakfast is nice.
The room is very nice and bigger than most hotels in Japan. We could open two large suitcases and still have space to walk around. The vibe is great and very suitable for couples. They even provide a free drink (alcohol, juice, coffee, and many other options) for every guest. The cleanliness is excellent, and since there’s no bathtub, the bathroom has more space.
The location is one metro stop away...
i liked this hotel a lot, also the stuff was very nice!! location is good, near the train station what made our stay 10 times better. room was clean and the bed was beyond comfortable
Staff were really friendly and helpful! The bed was comfortable and the room is a good size by Japan's room size standards. Our stay was very comfortable! The only thing to take note of is that they don't store your luggage for you for free. They charge around 1,000 yen per luggage. They do have lockers which you can store your luggage for free. But if the lockers are full, then you will have to pay...
This hotel was really great. Location is easy to reach by public transport and it’s in a quiet neighbourhood walking distance to all attractions in Umeda. Clean and staff is friendly too. Recommend!
This is my second stay at this hotel, and it's really good. The room has excellent soundproofing and the windows are well-insulated. Complimentary soft drinks are a nice touch here, and the lobby doubles as a small bar.
