APA Hotel Osaka Temma in Osaka

I stayed at APA Hotel Osaka Tenma for three nights and had a very positive experience overall. The room was clean, modern, and surprisingly spacious for a city hotel. The bed was comfortable with crisp linens, and the blackout curtains made it easy to sleep in despite the city lights.
The room amenities were excellent: the air conditioner worked quietly, the TV had a good selection of channels, and the free Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. I also appreciated the small but well-organized desk area, which made it easy to get work done.
The bathroom was compact but spotless, with good water pressure in the shower and neatly provided toiletries. The fittings and fixtures felt new, and everything was in great working order.
Soundproofing was decent — I could hear some hallway noise at times, but it didn’t disturb my sleep. What stood out most was how efficient and thoughtful the space design was: even in a relatively small room, everything felt functional and practical.
Overall, I would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Osaka — especially for the convenient location near Tenma Station and the excellent value for the price.

My friend and I had booked different methods and at different times, but on the day of the trip we were given rooms next to each other, so we were able to enjoy our trip with peace of mind.

Enjoyed the public bath and also strategic location

I've stayed at different APA hotels and have had mixed experiences. This time around, I wanted to stay at one with a sentō, which has an ok size but was overall nice. However, the quality of the bed was lacking: the mattress felt like it was coming apart and not providing enough support on one side, and quite hard on the other, and the pillows were terrible. Having said that, the hotel is nice, location is good, and allowed me to explore a different part of Osaka, such as the park along the riverbank behind the hotel.

It was really good

I was really impressed with this hotel. The beds were semi-firm and comfortable, the location was convenient, but most of all, I loved the breakfast!

I'm a big fan of curry, even though it's not something I typically order as breakfast food. But APA offered a really great selection of naan and different curries - including different levels of spice - that convinced me.

The chicken tikka served on the side was deliciously spicy, more than you can usually find in Japan. Mixed with the butter curry sauce, it was just phenomenal.

The staff were helpful, welcoming - no complaints at all. But I'd head back here again just for breakfast! Very enjoyable stay that I'd recommend.
