Great stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet at night. Convenient location with easy access to buses and Kyoto stn. Staffs were polite and helpful throughout the stay. Overall, very good value for money and would stay again.

We had a very good stay here. The location is not super central but Kyoto Station and also the city center are walkable.

We had a wonderful stay in this hotel during our trip at Kyoto. This hotel offers unlimited beverages at lobby which allow us to have a quick coffee or tea before day trip and a rest after whole day of outing. Highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Clean and tidy, with warm and friendly service! However, there are many restrictions on using the top-floor facilities.

The hotel is an easy walk from the station and it’s easy to access main tourist attractions from here. The staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly enabling us to access the laundry facilities. There is a happy hour where drinks are free for one hour each evening, very good! Unfortunately the smell from the premises next door is very unpleasant, it wasn’t noticeable in our room thankfully and it’s clear the staff are trying to minimise it in reception, not sure what more they can do but I’m afraid I probably wouldn’t stay again due to the smell….😞

The hotel is quite new, and the surrounding streets are clean and tidy, with a park right across the road. The room itself is well-equipped and clean. Every afternoon and evening, they have a happy hour where you can mix your own drinks, and they also provide non-alcoholic beverages and hot water. Breakfast options aren't extensive, but there's enough to fill you up. The only downside is that our room was on the second floor, and every night we could hear a 'beep~ beep~ beep~' sound from some unknown electrical appliance, which went on all night and really disturbed our sleep. We reported it to the front desk, but they couldn't solve the problem or move us to another room.

Clean hotel with good transport options close by. Breakfast average but plenty of choice. Added bonus happy hour on an evening alcoholic drinks for an hour for free every night. Great hotel overall!!

Traveling solo, this room was perfectly adequate. It was clean and the hotel's location is quite convenient. The JR and Shinkansen stations are just a kilometer away, which I believe is a major transportation hub in Kyoto, along with the subway – though you do have to walk a bit. There's a temple nearby with beautiful ginkgo trees. The lady at the front desk was lovely and provided very attentive service; simple English communication was smooth. The hotel lobby offers free tea and coffee, and breakfast is also available. I'd recommend it to anyone who needs a place to stay.

Great place with good amenities room is typical for a Japanese hotel and attractions are within reach. As an added bonus they have a happy hour where they have a great selection of drinks you can consume within an hour. My only negative is I would have liked coffee in the room as it was only available at the machine near reception.

The location is excellent. You can take Kyoto City Bus 205 directly to the doorstep from Kyoto Station. It's just a few steps away from the Kamo River, and there's a smoking room, which is incredibly important for smokers.
