Framboise KYOTO Hotel de charme in Kyoto

The location is a bit far from Kyoto Station, but the hotel quality and customer service were truly satisfying. Thanks to that, I had a pleasant trip.

Amazing hotel! I can’t believe I didn’t know about it before — a true gem in Kyoto. Spacious rooms (rare for Japan), separate bathroom and toilet, and spotless cleanliness. Wonderful staff. Unlimited free coffee and tea, plus free laundry — everything is thoughtfully arranged. Highly recommended!

I was lucky to get such a cheap stay. The hotel was so cute, and I was excited. The rental Dyson hairdryer and separate bathroom and toilet were great. However, I had my luggage sent on the way there, and when I tried to send it back, I was told it hadn't been sent yet, which was a real problem. I had to rush to the post office in a taxi, carrying a cardboard box. This was the first time I've ever stayed at a hotel. I contacted them to ask if I could send my luggage, and I wish they had told me that I couldn't send luggage from the hotel when I returned. The front desk staff were perfectly polite, but the explanations on the screen were all in English, which was a bit of a problem, considering I'm in Japan. The service and the room were great, so those two points are very disappointing.

I stayed here alone and had a great experience. It's about a 10-minute walk from Kujo and Jujo stations. As someone who dislikes smoking, I really appreciated the strict no-smoking and no-shoes-inside policies, which made my stay very comfortable. The facilities, including a microwave, induction hob, and kitchen, were so good that it made me think it would be fun to buy groceries from Don Quijote and live like I was in a hotel all by myself if I ever got the chance again. The amenities were almost like those in a monthly apartment, though I was a bit surprised by how loudly the sound of doors closing in nearby rooms echoed.

Excellent hotel with friendly staff. Lots of nice little perks from the hotel during my stay.
