Best for families, walking distance to Kyoto station and convenience stores

Brilliant room for us travelling as a family and the location was exceptional with us staying for a short period of him in Kyoto. Staff were amazing and hand written note when checking out was a great personal touch. Would highly recommend this hotel and if we are back in Kyoto will definitely be staying back at the Mimaru. Loved our short stay.

Perfect for families! Only 200 meters from Kyoto Station. My kids absolutely loved the bunk beds and the Pokémon theme. They even gave us a little gift and some cookies. When we checked out, they gave us a handwritten card. The service was incredibly thoughtful.

Counter staffs all very friendly and helpful, check-in was smooth and fast. Very convenient location, 5 mins walk to Kyoto train station which was very convenient to travel back to Tokyo.

The location is fantastic; less than 5min from Kyoto Station exit door. The room is nice and warm even on cold days. Can't hear the train track when in the room..However we can hear slight noise from neighbouring room. Room was good for 2 adults and 2 kids; kids love the bunk bed and the bed is just nice; not too hard nor too soft. However do note that they clean the toilet everyday but only make/ change the bed sheets 2 days once.

We will definitely come back to the hotel if we are back in Kyoto

Wonderful room full of Pokemon characters that is very conveniently located near Kyoto train station. The room is spacious with 2 single beds and a bunk bed, the room is also well equipped with stove and microwave for families. Free Pokemon collectibles made the stay even more worthwhile!

The staff were warm and polite, and the hotel environment was clean. It's conveniently located near the station, which has many restaurants. Plus, there's a convenience store downstairs for easy shopping. I'd definitely come back again.

The hotel's location is excellent; it's just a 5-10 minute walk to supermarkets and department stores for shopping. The room was clean and tidy, and the front desk staff were very friendly and kind. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Right above JR Kyoto with access to local and intercity trains. Clean, courteous staff and spacious rooms. I can see the JR train station from my window, but the room is exceptionally queit.

I use it often when I'm on a business trip to Kyoto. I like this restaurant because it has a high ceiling, it is spacious and very luxurious. It was very nice to see young families with small children, it was a nice hotel and the food was delicious. Tokizoya's Hokkaido foodies were served hot and delicious food. First of all, you can see that the hall staff has a very good behavior, attention and service spirit. After all, the access is too good (^^)

Nice hotel situated right in the train station. Very good place to see the city or go on daytrips to other cities. Room was quite large by Japanese standards and breakfast was lovely (Western & Japanese food). Service was great and very polite.

My favourite hotel in Kyoto and Japan. Stayed there for more than 5 times. Excellent location which is next to JR station, Kyoto subway station, Kintetsu station and bus terminal.
