Shiki Resort Kyoto Kamogawaso in Kyoto

Congratulations to the owners of Kamogawa Sō on their excellent staff. We would like to publicly thank Mr. Yamanaka for his quick thinking, extraordinary assistance and polite service in helping us with a room change. Mr Uchiyama was also very helpful. The hotel is extremely pleasant, located in one of the nicest areas of Kyōto, a couple of minutes walk to subway and bus stops and walkable to a great many spectacular attractions of North West Kyoto. Great bath too! Restaurant is not currently functioning.

I had a wonderful 2-day stay at this hotel. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and would definitely like to stay here again.The staff were very kind and helpful, which made my experience even better. We had the most pleasant Japanese ryokan experience, welcomed by lovely staff member - Prabin, very helpful, well mannered and friendly. The building is located just next to a station, exceptionally clean and with a beautiful Japanese garden soaking in the middle of morning sun, making it all a magical stay.

I booked the hotel, worried about the noise it might get with a lot of foreign tourists, but it was incredibly quiet and comfortable!
The explanation upon entering was thorough, and they even took a commemorative photo with me when I left, which made for a great memory.

The amenities were also very efficient, which I liked.
They don't provide tissues or anything, so please take something if you need it!

When I went back to get something I forgot, they were very kind, and I gave them a souvenir as an apology, and they even messaged me later, which made me really happy, haha.

Even though I was in the city of Kyoto, I was able to have a quiet and relaxing time. I had no pain when putting the futon in the room, or during curfew, or while bathing. Of course, there is no store nearby because it is a residential area, but when you go to Kitaoji Station, there are other stores besides convenience stores. This is a good walking distance. The dining room was quiet and calm. It wasn't a special dish, but it was delicious. I think this is enough for the price. Recommended for those who don't want to do things themselves, but not for those looking for the most comprehensive services.

It was a very beautiful place, true to the image of a traditional Japanese inn. The staff were nice too and the price was reasonable. The food was good and the bath was adequate.

There were many hotels with good value, but this time Kamogawaso was one of the three hotels. 8 stations from Kyoto Station, 2 minutes from the station, Kamogawa is right in front of you, the location is good and the next day rental cycle is enough to leisurely go around Kamigamo Temple, Shimogamo Temple, Daitokuji, Imamiya Temple within half a day. is. The public space is large and the buildings are positioned to surround a stone garden so you can enjoy a relaxing and luxurious atmosphere. The interior has been renovated and is very beautiful. I made the reservation a day before online, but the price of 5018 yen with half board in a single room was a really good price. In the morning I could see Kamogawa from the window, which was very convenient. This hotel is recommended for sightseeing in Kyoto.

It is a decent inn even though the price is very cheap. I think it is natural at this price to put sheets on the futon and pull the futon by yourself. It is a very reasonable and comfortable inn and can be used for multiple purposes.
