Hostel Mundo in Kyoto

It's a nice, cosy hostel. It has all the necessities one needs (except rental towels!) and it's not too far off from Kyoto station and the center.
The staff is really helpful and nice! They have a lot of maps and will guide you if you have any problems or questions.
They have free lockers for valuables and there's no lock out. The beds are provided with curtains and power outlets. You have a small kitchen with all you need!
Only bad points are that the place is reeeaaaally narrow and tiny and kinda damp.
I guess that if you're of a larger build you'll experience some problems. For example, the door of one of the shower rooms is really narrow, I can only comfortably get in sideways.
Besides that, the place is just kind of musky and damp. That's probably because it's made out of wood, but still.

They were very helpful and welcoming.
They speak very good English and Spanish so it was very easy to talk with them.
The rooms have a good price according to the quality and comfort. I slept in a room for 4 people.

The hosts are really nice and the place is cozy. There are two grocery stores and a good takoyaki shop from the main street. However,it takes a couple of minutes by walking to reach the place. Nonetheless,they have really awesome suggestions of "where to go" places and the hosts are really helpful and accommodating.
