The rooms were dusty and had an unpleasant smell, with soft, unsupportive mattresses and uncomfortable bedding. The experience was disappointing, despite the convenient location near the metro and nearby restaurants.

I can't sleep at all. Me and my friend have been tossing and turning all night, falling asleep, waking and repeating.

If you choose this place with everything in mind, don't look inside the bedding. Sometimes it's good not to know the truth.

Room was dusty but decent enough for just a quick night's stay as it was close enough to the train station and there were many convenient stores nearby.

It felt very comfortable, like staying in a real Japanese home. Although there are subway stations nearby, they are a bit far, or perhaps the design is inconvenient, as transfers were quite troublesome. Overall, it was still alright.

This was simply a terrible experience:
1. The air conditioning was ineffective. In a roughly 13 square meter room, even set to 16 degrees, it wouldn't cool down. You couldn't open the door to the living area, or you'd roast. 🥵
2. To my surprise, they didn't do any housekeeping, and didn't even change the towels.
3. The front desk was unstaffed. If you needed anything, you wouldn't know who to ask.
4. It's supposedly 5 minutes from Honmachi Station, but beware ⚠️ Honmachi Station has three subway lines. It's closer to the blue line (Yotsubashi Line). We thought it was the red line (Midosuji Line), and it took us over 20 minutes to walk from the red line to the blue line.
5. They call it a hotel, but there's no front desk. The whole place felt more like a private residence.

Booked here twice and thoroughly enjoyed the location, the amount of space and all the private facilities (including a small kitchen, washing machine and separate bathroom and toilet), there’s also the chance of a decent view from the window. Unbeatable value for money and the owner is kind and friendly.
I don’t understand why people put themselves into capsule accommodation when this an alternative.

Convenience to Honmachi station. Within walking distance of 5 mins.

The location is a bit far from the city center, and the hotel bed was too soft 😭. Everything else was pretty good, and the front desk service was nice too.
