Very central location, you can get to any of the main areas in at most 3 stops on the metro! (10-15 mins)
The rooms were nice, but a bit cramped
🌟 **Stunning High-Altitude Views, Osaka's Nightscape at Your Fingertips**
The biggest selling point of this hotel is undoubtedly its high-rise location! All guest rooms are situated on the 16th floor and above
This feeling of being surrounded by the entire city was truly dreamy; I couldn't stop taking photos. 🚇 **Excellent and Convenient Location**
The hotel is located on Osaka's main thoroughfare, Midosuji Avenue
* **Daily Conveniences:** Downstairs, there's a convenience store (7-Eleven), a drug store, and many local ramen shops and izakayas, so late-night dining is never a problem
Also, loved that there was a 7-11 just under the building, super convenient for breakfast and late-night snacks!
The service was really good, all the staff were helpful
While in a bustling area, it offers a peaceful retreat. Transportation is incredibly convenient; it's just a 3-5 minute walk from Yodoyabashi Station (Exit 13)

The bed was just the right firmness, making for a very comfortable sleep, which is so important when you're traveling. The location is also quiet, and you can even stroll to Osaka Castle and Nakanoshima
This is a great hotel located close to all the attractions. Its also close to train stations that gets you to Osaka and Namba stations quickly. The hotel staff are all nice and very helpful
Nice location, good breakfast. Convenient location, close to train station. In between the two main hubs within Osaka, would highly recommend.
The front desk staff were very friendly, and the room was quite new. For a single room, it felt spacious
Very pleasant place!
Appreciate support from hotel for a personnal request
Osaka, 1-12-8 Sonezakishinchi, Kita-ku (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Getting into the hotel between 3 and 4pm was difficult because of check in being on the second floor and buses of guests arriving at that time
The hotel's location is truly excellent. We chose this hotel after traveling from Kyoto to Osaka. After getting off at Osaka Station, simply follow the signs for Kitashinchi and walk in that direction
The location is good surrounding with lots of resturant and shops. JR stations are also nearby. I ordered goods twice from Amazon Japan delivered to hotel and the services were very good.
As you approach the end of the passage, you'll eventually spot Exit 43. Take the elevator up, and you'll see a drugstore
Not the hotels’ fault that I picked this location, most of the food and shopping we wanted was just a train ride away
All were using the lifts to get to reception, so we had to go somewhere else while the new arrivals checked in

The staff member helped us fill out the forms, and we just handed our luggage over to her. This made our travels much lighter the next day. We stayed here for four nights and it was very comfortable
Hygiene: The room was very clean. For guests staying multiple nights, a full cleaning is provided every three days; otherwise, they offer towel changes and trash bag replacement. Facilities: The decor is quite new
It was quite pleasant running and enjoying the scenery. The hotel offers a luggage forwarding service. On our fourth night, we brought our suitcases to the front desk to send them to our hotel in Kyoto
From there, we looked for Exit 18 of the Keihan Line, went up to ground level, spotted a 7-Eleven, and the hotel was right there. This area has a lot of office buildings, so it was quite quiet
The bedding was comfortable, and I slept soundly at night!
The shower and toilet are combined. The toilet is a smart one with a heated seat, so it’s not cold when you use it. There’s also a bathtub for soaking
The front desk staff guided us through the self check-in process. We then picked up the disposable amenities we needed, such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, combs, facial cleanser, and lotion
Osaka, 1-1-20 Oyodonaka, Kita Ward (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Provide espresso machine in the room. (Not sure if for executive floor only) Very helpful, friendly and very polite staffs with kind heart to provide excellent service. Truly recommended for both locals and travelers
The twin room I booked had spacious beds, and there are multiple shopping malls conveniently located near the hotel, making dining and shopping very accessible
However, despite the renovation, the showerhead, shower stall size, and sink still left something to be desired; you could definitely feel its age. Service: This is a classic five-star hotel
The location is excellent: The hotel is in the city center with incredibly convenient transportation. It's just a 5-minute walk to the subway station, making it easy to get to all the major attractions and shopping areas
The room was spacious and the hygiene was good. The hotel isn't very large but it's well-designed and chic. The shuttle bus service ends a bit early, but otherwise, everything else was pretty good
Cleanliness: There's really nothing to complain about when it comes to cleanliness in Japanese hotels. Facilities: The room was spacious enough, which was my favorite part
This hotel is great! The location is excellent, making it super convenient to get everywhere. It's also incredibly clean and beautifully decorated. They even left chocolates for us, and the staff were all very friendly.
The hotel's location is convenient, about 1km from the commercial center's Daimaru and Hankyu department stores, and around 600m from the subway station
Conveniently located near Osaka Umeda Station, this established 5-star hotel offers well-managed services. The high-floor corner rooms are spacious and provide expansive views.
Although the room was small, it was very comfortable, and the bathroom was excellent. The hotel front desk staff were great and had no problem communicating in English
Our first stop in Japan for the October holiday. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and efficient, and the location was also good.
Overall is good. Just some weird sound/noise heard during the night. Welcome snacks and tea are delicious.
Osaka, 2-31 Honmachibashi, Chuo Ward (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Convenient walking distance to and from the Sakaisuji-Honmachi Station serving the Chuo Line [C] and Sakaisuji Line [K], makes for an easy thoroughfare to all parts of the city, Umeda, and Universal Studios, too
Although the hot spring facilities are a bit old, they are well-maintained. I'd give the environment a 70 out of 100
Me and my husband enjoyed the stay very much. The hot spring was really good the room, even though it was very small. It was adequate enough and the hotel staff were very friendly and everything else was good
The staff are nice offering me room on the higher floor Very nice view from the room
The room is spacious with a working desk that I can work remotely. It's comfortable except the network is a bit slow.
This hotel has a chapel inside on the second floor for those who are observant travelers (for Christian devotees). There are several other temples and shrines all within distance from the hotel itself
Accommodations are very good from a short stay to a business traveler’s perspective or personal experience within this part of Osaka’s financial districts. Very lovely places for returning visitors
Osaka, 2-1-9 Uchihonmachi, Chuo-ku (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Our stay at Dormy Inn Osaka Tanimachi with the kids was absolutely fantastic! The room was spacious enough for the children to move around comfortably, and the cleanliness was top-notch. The bedding felt incredibly soft
The room was very comfortable, and the front desk staff was excellent; they even allowed us to check in early. You can opt to visit the hot springs in the afternoon when it's less crowded and peaceful
And you absolutely must try the ramen they offer in the evening – it's fantastic! Plus, there's an amazing tonkatsu restaurant nearby, about a 6-7 minute walk from the hotel
The hotel isn't large, but it's well-designed. There's a hot spring upstairs which is very clean. It's about a 7-8 minute walk from the subway station, so it's easy to find
It's tiny, but the ingredients are top-notch and it's definitely worth a try
Plus, there are three supermarkets right outside, which is super convenient

I had such an amazing stay at the Holiday Inn Express Osaka City Centre and would absolutely stay here again when visiting Osaka
From the moment I arrived for check-in until the day I departed, the staff were truly phenomenal. Every interaction was warm, welcoming, and professional, which made the entire experience feel effortless and enjoyable
One small detail that really stood out to me was the breakfast staff remembering my name after just a couple of days. That kind of personal touch made the stay feel much more thoughtful and memorable
The rooms and amenities were spotless and very well maintained, which made it easy to relax and feel comfortable after a long day of exploring the city. The location was also incredibly convenient
It was only about a four-minute walk to the subway station, making it simple to get around Osaka and visit different neighborhoods and attractions
Next time I'm in Osaka, I'll definitely choose a high-floor room again to enjoy the panoramic city views overlooking Shinsaibashi
Osaka, 3-60, Ofuka-cho Kita-ku (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
and the lounge closes at 9:00 p. but that didn't seem to bother Yasuhide. He went into the kitchen and returned with very elaborate bento boxes. At no time, did we feel rushed even when closing time approached
The hotel isn't right in the heart of Umeda, but on the upside, it's much quieter. It's about a 10-minute walk to Hankyu and a 15-minute walk to Hanshin, which is totally acceptable
However, the breakfast was just average and not very varied. Overall, it was decent, and I would consider staying at the Intercontinental again if the price is right next time
Excellent stay! The room was very spacious, and the facilities and service were consistently up to InterContinental standards. The view from the window was great, offering a glimpse of the red Ferris wheel
The hotel's location is excellent, with great transportation links to all areas, making it convenient to get anywhere. The room is also very spacious, especially for Japan
The room was really spacious for Osaka standards, and we had a very comfortable stay. There's also an amazing yakitori place nearby called Matsuri that's a must-try!
Osaka, 1-13-10 Edobori, Nishi-ku (in the centre) 🧭 Map
For a single room, it's quite spacious – I could even open up my 28-inch suitcase. Plus, the hotel's decor feels quite new overall. I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Osaka
There's a bus stop right in front of the hotel; it's a five-minute, five-stop ride to Umeda city center, which is very convenient. There's also a subway station next to the hotel, making it easy to get anywhere
Hotel beside subway.. very convenient. Outside quiet as it is a station away from the umeda area.. nice place to stay m good hotel..
The hotel's location is excellent; it's just across a small street from an elevator entrance to Higobashi Subway Station, making subway travel incredibly convenient
In terms of facilities, the rooms are on the more compact side for a business hotel, and the air conditioning only offers fan speed adjustment. However, all equipment is functioning properly and meets basic usage needs
Service was satisfactory; the front desk staff were professional and courteous, always providing service with a smile and a friendly attitude. Overall, this hotel offers good value for money and is highly recommended
Osaka, 1-8-7 Kitakyuhoujimachi Chuo-ku (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The location of hotel are centralised, hotel are clean and staff are so friendly.
It's pretty central and you can walk to most places. I'd definitely book again next time!
This is already my third stay here, and it's incredibly convenient! There are two 24-hour supermarkets nearby, and you can even walk to Shinsaibashi. Plus, there's a free drink bar on the second floor of the hotel!
First time in Osaka, and everything went smoothly! The hotel is super close to Sakaisuji-Hommachi Station, just a two or three-minute walk. It's a bit further from Hommachi Station, about a 20-minute walk
The room had several options for housekeeping posted, which was a nice touch and showed great attention to detail. And the terrace is huge! There's even a torii gate on top of the building next door
Was such an amazing hotel! I would highly recommend this and return!
My husband and I booked this hotel for our honeymoon and was astounded at the cleanliness and hospitality of the place
Osaka, 3-12-10 Toyosaki, Kita-ku (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Breakfast offers both Japanese and Western options, though after three days, it got a bit repetitive (the grilled fish was good, but be cautious with the takoyaki!)
The room was clean and the location wasn't too far from the Umeda shopping district on foot. The price was reasonable, and they even stored our luggage for us when we arrived early. The staff were also quite friendly
We bought a lot of things, so we sorted the packaging bags (paper, plastic, etc. ) and left them neatly in the room. We noticed other rooms also had various packaging sorted and placed by the door
If you don't opt for breakfast, there are several nice cafes along the way to Hankyu & Osaka Station
However, as other reviews mentioned, the room is very small, making it difficult to open large suitcases – we managed to open ours with some effort under the desk
The Neel Coffee shop nearby is absolutely amazing and very Instagrammable
Osaka, 2-8-6 Minamisenba, Chuo-ku (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The room size was just right, and it was well-equipped. The WiFi signal wasn't great, but it was better than nothing. The bathrooms all had bidets, which was a nice touch.
The bathroom was small but clean and functional. Everything else was great; fresh towels were left at the door daily, which was very convenient and thoughtful
The room was cleaned every three days, perfect for guests who prefer minimal disturbance. Overall, it was simple, comfortable, and good value for money
I would like to sincerely thank 李 and 伏见 for their efforts in coordinating with various parties and helping me successfully retrieve my lost bag from the Shinkansen lost and found centre
The hotel environment is really nice, I'd say it's on the higher end for a Smile Hotel. The front desk service was excellent, very attentive, and they offer luggage storage
You can get fresh towels daily, and housekeeping comes every three days. It's also very close to the subway station
I also appreciated the small but well-organized desk area, which made it easy to get work done. The bathroom was compact but spotless, with good water pressure in the shower and neatly provided toiletries
The fittings and fixtures felt new, and everything was in great working order. Soundproofing was decent — I could hear some hallway noise at times, but it didn’t disturb my sleep
I stayed at APA Hotel Osaka Tenma for three nights and had a very positive experience overall. The room was clean, modern, and surprisingly spacious for a city hotel
The room amenities were excellent: the air conditioner worked quietly, the TV had a good selection of channels, and the free Wi-Fi was fast and reliable
What stood out most was how efficient and thoughtful the space design was: even in a relatively small room, everything felt functional and practical
Overall, I would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Osaka — especially for the convenient location near Tenma Station and the excellent value for the price

Facilities: The facilities were comprehensive. Although the room was on the smaller side, it was well-equipped with all the essentials. Cleanliness: Spotlessly clean! Absolutely pristine, with daily housekeeping
This old hotel is well-maintained and offers a convenient check-in and check-out process. If you arrive early, you can store your luggage at the hotel. The lobby provides amenities for guests to pick up
The location is very strategic, just a short walk from the station. Dotonbori is easily accessible with only one train ride. The room is small, but it is comfortable and sufficient for two people.
Everything was fine except for the small room.
Aside from the room being a bit small, everything else was great. The location is really excellent – within 100 meters, you'll find a subway station, convenience stores, coffee shops, and a mall
Despite this, the location is great, close to a subway station and with an elevator at the nearest exit. Overall, there’s nothing to complain about, and I’d definitely return to stay here again
Osaka, 4-2-7 Koraibashi, Chuo-ku (in the centre) 🧭 Map
This station is very convenient; next to it is Umeda Station, and before it are Honmachi and Shinsaibashi Stations. If you want to go to Kyoto, you can take a train from Yodoyabashi Station as well
There is a good supermarket next door. Furniture is a bit old and used, but that's ok. The bed is extremely comfortable. I think this is one of the best beds that I've slept on in hotels
The place is huge and many people stay in the hotel, so maybe number of amenities like laundry machines is not enough for such a big hotel
The room was amazing, with big windows that made it feel even better. Near the hotel, there's a Family Mart
The location is great. The neighborhood around the hotel is clean and easy access to metro. The staffs are nice and helpful. I will stay here again for next trip in Osaka.
Convenient location, next to metro. Free breakfast van be improved. Suggest to buy foods from nearby convenient store.
Osaka, 1 Chome-1-13 Dojima, Kita Ward (in the centre) 🧭 Map
There's a Family Mart convenience store just a few steps downstairs, and Daikokucho subway station is only a few hundred meters away. If I remember correctly, it's just one or two stops to Umeda and Shinsaibashi
The hotel elevator was a bit hard to find on my first visit, but the staff were really nice, and both check-in and check-out were smooth. The room size was perfect for just me
A very nice hotel with friendly staff. They kept to our every need and made the stay really amazing. The coffee machine was a bonus, we had fresh coffee of choice every day.
The room is very clean, and the location is quiet yet convenient. It's within walking distance of the Umeda shopping district, and the hotel itself is very peaceful
The only downside is that it's a bit inconvenient to get to Universal Studios; you have to walk about a kilometer to Osaka Station to catch a train
I've stayed here several times now, and there's a Family Mart convenience store just a 2-minute walk away!
Osaka, 3-4-15 Nakanoshima, Kita-ku (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel was clean and amenities were available on the ground floor opposite the lifts. Service was courteous and the view was great. Location was pretty central but not the closest to the train station
The hall is beautiful and wonderful! Moreover, the room is very hygienic and it’s nice to take off your shoes and change into slippers upon entering! The facilities, amenities and rooms are very clean and the best! I am confident that this hotel will satisfy everyone who stays at this level! The price is cheap and I'm surprised! It's also very convenient to be close to Umeda Station! The building...
I've stayed here many times, and it's consistently comfortable and quiet. The staff are always warm and attentive, making for a very pleasant stay. The large public bath on the rooftop is wonderfully relaxing
Hotel provides a shuttle bus service there, and hotel is walking distance to many nearby good food places. With a late supermarket which closes at 12 nearby, it is convenient place to stay with river view
Amazing location to explore around Osaka and Kyoto. It’s in beautifully located in the midst of a river. Walking distance to 2 metro lines, with Hidobashi being one stop away from Umeya Osaka area
It's also very convenient for getting to Umeda and Shinsaibashi, a pleasant 30-minute walk away. If you'd rather not walk, the Yotsubashi and Midosuji lines are nearby, just one stop away

+ Easy access to transportation, shopping malls and restaurants
+ Most of the amenities are covered
- Hotel room size is miniature with tepid fridge
+ Friendly staff members
+ Late checkout at 12pm
- Pricey cost compared to similar ranking hotels in Tokyo that are also located at city centres offering larger and better hotel rooms with easy access to transportation, shopping malls and restaurants...
The location is very convenient. The newest airport limousine bus in '26 goes to Osaka Umeda Station, and it's a 3-minute walk from there. It's also only a 7-8 minute walk to Hankyu Department Store
The room isn't big, so it's better for one person. There are convenience stores nearby too. The guy at the front desk speaks a little Chinese
Pros:
All the amenities were included. Close to a ton of restaurants on the street. 12pm check out time for late sleepers. Room was fairly pricey but I did book last minute during Chinese New Years
The hotel was very clean. While it's not the newest, it's well-maintained and the transportation is very convenient.
Location: 5/5, just around 10mins walk from/to the Osaka Station, connect to anywhere in the kansai region (just around 30mins to Kyoto or Kobe by train); heart of the umeda district so super busy with tons of shopping malls and restaurants in the region, and there is a familymart right opposite the street
Facility: 4/5, rooms are compact and facilities are getting old (but still clean), and be mindful...
