One of the best place to stay for solo travelers. Top tier cost efficiency, attention to details in terms of sauna Premium room is excellent if you have more budget Will definitely stay again
The capsule hotel is worth more than it charge. The location is great close to JR & Namba stations. Friendly staff, comfy rooms, with TV & a locker.
İf they do not send you 10 am it will ve better. But it is fantastic. See you next year
This hotel is located in Shinsaibashi, about a ten-minute walk from Namba Station. The area is quite lively, with plenty of restaurants still open in the evening. The internal facilities are decent; the capsule is standard size, but it can get a bit stuffy.
Everything is fine exept the thinnest and hardest pillow I've ever seen in my life. A bit old amenities add a touch of true charm to here. They speak a bit English. The only unpleasant point was my communcation about the locker key I couldn't find in the morning. They immediately asked me to pay 7.000 yen as for lost item, not even suggesting to wait for it to be found by staff or guests, as I hadn...
Locals don’t usually come here to sleep — they come to wash, relax, and go through the full spa ritual. There are three types of steam rooms, a circular shower, and three baths: two hot ones at around 41°C, and one cold shock bath at around 11°C. You dip in and instantly feel alive. One unique feature — every hour they run a group steam ritual, like a collective massage & heat therapy session. Very...

InterContinental Osaka by IHG, Osaka1 / 26

Osaka, 3-60, Ofuka-cho Kita-ku (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Spa facilities: Massage, Sauna, Spa and wellness centre
The hotel isn't right in the heart of Umeda, but on the upside, it's much quieter. It's about a 10-minute walk to Hankyu and a 15-minute walk to Hanshin, which is totally acceptable. The room was really spacious for Osaka standards, and we had a very comfortable stay. There's also an amazing yakitori place nearby called Matsuri that's a must-try!
The InterContinental Osaka is, without a doubt, the best hotel I've ever stayed in when it comes to service. The housekeeping is virtually perfect; even the toiletries and skincare products on the bathroom counter are artfully arranged. The hotel's location is excellent – you step right out and start shopping. Plus, the rooms are incredibly spacious. A huge thumbs up!
Great location, and the room had a fantastic view and was very spacious. It's hard to find such a large room in Osaka, so I'm very satisfied.
The hotel's location is excellent, with great transportation links to all areas, making it convenient to get anywhere. The room is also very spacious, especially for Japan. However, the breakfast was just average and not very varied. Overall, it was decent, and I would consider staying at the Intercontinental again if the price is right next time.
Excellent stay! The room was very spacious, and the facilities and service were consistently up to InterContinental standards. The view from the window was great, offering a glimpse of the red Ferris wheel. The location is superb, right next to Osaka Station and Umeda Station, making transportation incredibly convenient. There are tons of shops and restaurants nearby, so dining, drinking, and shopping...
The room was spacious with a great view. It's about an 8-minute walk to Umeda Hankyu Department Store. We didn't book breakfast, but there's a semi-buffet breakfast place on the first floor of the mall downstairs that was really good. The room layout was bright, spacious, and stylish.

I stayed at APA Hotel Osaka Tenma for three nights and had a very positive experience overall. The room was clean, modern, and surprisingly spacious for a city hotel. The bed was comfortable with crisp linens, and the blackout curtains made it easy to sleep in despite the city lights. The room amenities were excellent: the air conditioner worked quietly, the TV had a good selection of channels, and...
It's close to Tenma Station, making it convenient for sightseeing and travel. The Tenma Station shopping street is the longest in Japan and has many unique shops, making it a fun place to visit any time of the day. Personally, I prefer walking around Dotonbori or Tsutenkaku.
Although I was late in checking in, I was grateful that you contacted me and dealt with the matter courteously. My friend and I had booked different methods and at different times, but on the day of the trip we were given rooms next to each other, so we were able to enjoy our trip with peace of mind.
Enjoyed the public bath and also strategic location
I've stayed at different APA hotels and have had mixed experiences. This time around, I wanted to stay at one with a sentō, which has an ok size but was overall nice. However, the quality of the bed was lacking: the mattress felt like it was coming apart and not providing enough support on one side, and quite hard on the other, and the pillows were terrible. Having said that, the hotel is nice, location...
I was really impressed with this hotel. The beds were semi-firm and comfortable, the location was convenient, but most of all, I loved the breakfast! I'm a big fan of curry, even though it's not something I typically order as breakfast food. But APA offered a really great selection of naan and different curries - including different levels of spice - that convinced me. The chicken tikka served on...

Hotel is 1 train stop away from Osaka station. Not much service as it is a self check in. No public bath in the hotel as well. But hotel stay is value for money. And there are lots of restaurants nearby.
Considering Japanese standards, the room size was quite good. We could comfortably open both a 28-inch and a 20-inch suitcase after shifting the table and chairs. The room was clean, and the complimentary toiletries were nice. While the towels were thinner than what we're used to in Chinese hotels, they were perfectly sufficient and spotless. The hotel's location is undoubtedly its biggest asset; getting...
The location is excellent, with convenient public transportation and a full range of amenities nearby. Cleanliness: The room was spotlessly clean. Environment: Despite its close proximity to the metro station, there was no noticeable noise. Service: Toothbrushes are available for collection downstairs. However, I'd recommend bringing your own slippers.
Whenever we're in Umeda, the Hanshin Hotel is always our family's top choice. The rooms are spacious, and they even come with a decent-sized entryway. The cleanliness is consistently excellent. Its location is incredibly convenient, with JR and Hanshin lines right outside the hotel. Just two right turns from the hotel entrance, there's a fantastic ramen restaurant with a very noticeable sign. Highly...
The hotel's location is excellent, with very convenient transport links. It's very close to both the commercial center and Universal Studios, and there are plenty of local eateries nearby. We noticed many Chinese guests staying here. The hotel also provides a shuttle bus service to Kansai Airport; however, I didn't look into the specifics, so it might have limited schedules and require advance reservations...
This is my fourth time staying at this hotel, and it's still a triple room. The space is decent, and the location is convenient. My only suggestion for improvement is that the sofa in the triple room might be old, as it has a peculiar smell.

Needs a bit of walking from subway stations.  But reflected in the price of the rooms.
Was all amazing and would book again! Close to major stations and had all you need
A very nice hotel with friendly staff. They kept to our every need and made the stay really amazing. The coffee machine was a bonus, we had fresh coffee of choice every day.
Very small twin rooms here which means you cannot fit two suitcases open in the room. The bathroom is ridiculously small. Charge for luggage if left for a couple of hours after check out.
The hotel elevator was a bit hard to find on my first visit, but the staff were really nice, and both check-in and check-out were smooth. The room size was perfect for just me. There's a Family Mart convenience store just a few steps downstairs, and Daikokucho subway station is only a few hundred meters away. If I remember correctly, it's just one or two stops to Umeda and Shinsaibashi. The only downside...

The breakfast is incredibly delicious and offers a wide variety of options, so I always eat breakfast there when I stay there!
Awesome hotel and great value. The staff are amazing. Very close to everything. 2 minutes walk to Temmabashi Station, about 4 minutes walk to the city mall. So many restaurants to choose from. I highly recommend this place.
small room, but very good for the price. Personal helped flawlessly with a luggage issue from thenairline (chinese, not JAL). Would give them 6/5 here even though there was a language barrier at some point. Location is directly next to Osaka Castle.
The room has all the amenities you could imagine: disposable and non-disposable slippers, kimono pajamas, razors, cotton swabs, a comb, and everything you could imagine. The hotel is quiet, and you can't hear your neighbors. The staff is friendly and helpful. Osaka Castle and its beautiful park are a 10-minute walk away. The room is small, but that's typical for many Japanese rooms.
The room was especially clean among the APA hotels.
The hotel is perfectly located near the train and metro stations. Sights are within walking distance, as are restaurants with delicious menus. The rooms are small, but they have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hotel has a spa with traditional baths. Delicious breakfast in the small restaurant.

I stayed at Hotel Monterey La Soeur Osaka and absolutely loved it. The hotel has a beautiful, slightly European Art Deco style and feels elegant from the moment you walk into the lobby. My room was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and a nice view of the city. Location is excellent – just a short walk to Osaka Business Park and within easy distance of Osaka Castle, so it’s...
This is the best hotel I've stayed at in Japan in terms of value for money, and I've been here four times. While it has some common issues with older hotels, like limited power outlets and dated bedding, these are minor flaws compared to its overall excellent qualities. The location is about 500-600 meters from both the train and subway stations. For this price range in Japan, the room is surprisingly...
Great service, convenient location, nice people Would highly recommend to everyone

We stayed two nights at this hotel near Namba Dotonbori. It was wonderful to relax in a warm hot spring bath after a long day of exploring. The staff were all friendly, and the beds were comfortable, so we slept well. Next time I visit Namba, I'll definitely stay...
The hot spring is relaxing, sometimes people speaks loud in there tho. The hotel offers free noodles, ice cream at night. The room is clean. Location is good. Self check in and out.
We love the atmosphere and location. It’s near attractive places. Also free ramen and ice bar 😇
Pretty nice room service and very awesome breakfast 😀
The most important thing to note is that you can hear the train tracks nearby from the hotel. The soundproofing for conversations in the hallway or noisy children is also not great, so if you're sensitive to noise, you might want to reconsider. Breakfast maintains a high standard, with both the seafood rice and okonomiyaki being delicious. They even add oranges to the hot spring in the morning.

I'm glad I chose this hotel, given the staff's friendliness and cleanliness. Breakfast was also satisfying. I stayed for two nights, but on the first day, the hotel's multi-story parking lot (1,000 yen) was full due to its height, so I parked at a nearby affiliated parking lot (1,600 yen). This is an older hotel with great value for money. The rooms are spacious, clean, and tidy. The breakfast offers a good variety of dishes that taste great, and the service is excellent. It's super convenient for getting around, located right next to the subway, JR, and Kintetsu stations, about 30 meters away. You can even take the Sakia Line directly to Kansai Airport. The location is absolutely unbeatable, so convenient! Getting to the airport or anywhere else in Osaka is a breeze with the subway right there. Shopping is super easy too, with the Japanese outdoor brand Montbell just around the corner.
Shower water supply temperature not steady, sudden raise temperature every 10 seconds, other than that, everything is perfect. Hotel is direct access to underground train stations, time saver.
The elevator was under maintenance, so waiting for it to go up and down took a long time. The facilities and equipment are old. The service was good, but Japanese hotels are so stingy – they only give you one bottle of water a day, which isn't nearly enough.
The location is excellent. It's just 70 meters from the JR East Exit, right across the street. If you're taking the Kintetsu or Midosuji Line, you can easily access it by taking the elevator to B1 and entering the underground passage. Me and my husband enjoyed the stay very much. The hot spring was really good the room, even though it was very small. It was adequate enough and the hotel staff were very friendly and everything else was good. We would consider coming back here again if we are ever in Osaka.

The staff are nice offering me room on the higher floor Very nice view from the room The room is spacious with a working desk that I can work remotely. It's comfortable except the network is a bit slow.

Quiet location near Shin-Osaka Station and the subway. There's a 7-Eleven and FamilyMart nearby. The room was clean, but there were no European-style electrical outlets.
Basic amenities. Nothing around but close to the metro station.

This hotel is so cool! Rooms are large, bed is comfortable and the amenities are plentiful. My husband and I were shocked at how cool this place was. Everything was also very clean and we actually didn't want to leave to go to our next hotel. We had the best experience.
I stayed here for 4 nights fall of 2025. Large, comfortable, quiet room. Lots of freebies: curry rice, alcohol, ice cream, etc. My only complaint is the room key. They give you a physical, metal key strapped to a huge piece of wood with the room number on it. They do not want you to leave the hotel with this key. So, you have to check it at the front desk before leaving and receive a plastic card ...
Fantastic location, only a few steps away from Dotonbori craziness and Shinsaibashi shopping. The hotel itself is a little oasis, and very much styled in the Bali vibes. Impressed with room size, amenities in room, and also access to free additional things in the lobby, like drinks, ice cream etc. There wasn't really anything to not like about this place and would happily stay there again if I visited...
