I stayed at Hotel Monterey La Soeur Osaka and absolutely loved it. The hotel has a beautiful, slightly European Art Deco style and feels elegant from the moment you walk into the lobby. My room was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and a nice view of the city.
Location is excellent – just a short walk to Osaka Business Park and within easy distance of Osaka Castle, so it’s very convenient for both sightseeing and business.
The staff were genuinely kind, professional, and attentive. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and they were always ready to help with directions or questions. I also really enjoyed relaxing at the onsen/spa after a long day of walking.
Overall, a wonderful stay with great atmosphere, good facilities, and warm Japanese hospitality. I would happily come back here again on my next trip to Osaka. 🌸

This is the best hotel I've stayed at in Japan in terms of value for money, and I've been here four times. While it has some common issues with older hotels, like limited power outlets and dated bedding, these are minor flaws compared to its overall excellent qualities. The location is about 500-600 meters from both the train and subway stations. For this price range in Japan, the room is surprisingly spacious, offering a glimpse of Sakuramiya and a corner of the castle tower. The biggest surprise was the free onsen, which even included an outdoor bath! After soaking, there's a lounge where you can enjoy complimentary drinks, popsicles, and senbei. A heads-up: you might encounter female staff in the men's bath, just keep your cool when they greet you.

The standards were suitable, and even with the price increase during the Expo, it wasn't excessive. It's an established hotel with a friendly and patient front desk. The location is convenient, with a convenience store right downstairs and a food street nearby. It's perfect for business trips.

When we first arrived, we went through the wrong entrance, and the front desk staff came down to meet us. The location is excellent; you just cross a pedestrian bridge outside and you're at the subway station. The service was fantastic. We were even more pleasantly surprised when we entered the room—it's definitely a very spacious room for Japan. We had no problem opening all three of our suitcases. The room facilities are very comprehensive. Every day, housekeeping cleaned the room thoroughly and replenished everything. We will definitely stay at this hotel again next time we visit Osaka.

Night had already fallen when I arrived at the hotel. From a distance, the hotel's exterior, illuminated by lights, looked exceptionally grand. Stepping into the lobby, the warm lighting, soft music, and the staff's welcoming smiles instantly soothed my weary body and mind. The lobby's decor was exquisite yet tasteful, with quality evident in every detail. The sofas in the lounge area were soft and comfortable, and the coffee tables held seasonal fresh flowers, emitting a subtle, pleasant fragrance.

Conveniently located near the Kyobashi subway station, the hotel boasts excellent facilities, warm service, and a very clean environment. The breakfast spread is incredibly rich and high-quality. The onsen is also good, quite impressive, and overall fantastic.
