The most amazing experience of this trip to Japan. I'll just show you the pictures, words can't describe it. Even the skincare products were exceptionally good; I want to buy some, but I don't know the brand
There is also a small cable car in the hotel, which is very interesting. This hotel is close to Hakone Yumoto Station. If you go there, you can consider it. The hotel can send you to the station, which is very thoughtful
The highlight of this trip was staying at this hotel. First of all, for hot spring lovers, this hotel has both private baths in the room and private baths that require payment, as well as excellent public hot springs
A top choice for hot springs, with a variety of private baths to satisfy all your needs. The Japanese breakfast and kaiseki dinner were both delicious, with different dishes served on two separate days
This time I came to Tokyo mainly to see the cherry blossoms, and I also went to Hakone to soak in the hot springs. I saw good reviews of this hot spring hotel on the Internet, so I tried it myself
It truly lives up to the saying, "Expensive things are good in every way except for the price!" I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Hakone for hot springs

An amazing experience! Everything was perfect, the food was delicious and the staff incredibly kind. Gurum-san took care of us and was very kind and warm toward us
Superb Ryokan with private Onsen in every room and also a bigger onsen for the use of the hotel guest that turns private when someone is using it. Amazing quality of Kaiseki food for dinner and Breakfast
They also helped us call a cab in the morning so we wouldn't miss our train :) We are immensely grateful for their warmth, patience, and understanding. We look forward to staying longer next time
Japanese style rooms with Tatami and bed set on the floor (difficult if you have a bad back as we do) Its located just a half block of the main road and lake but on an steep slope
As first timers in Japan, we were not expecting how long and exhausting the Hakone loop would be. This place was a true resting spot for us after a hectic day
The staff went out of their way to accommodate us when we were running late. The open air onsen was dreamy and romantic

I specifically requested for room with a view (not car park view) for the price I paid but knowing the Japanese inflexibility, it will be impossible to have a room change after they have allocated one , plus they r running full capacity with inadequate manpower
Bad thing - NO VIEW ! our room with a Huge balcony faced a car park , I guess that’s why they sell this room to Non-Members. Thus the Balcony serve no purpose bcos there’s no view
Parking is easy , including access to basement parking. The public onsen is not bad with 2 outdoor onsen. The in-room private onsen is convenient but there is No View
The service staff was trying to separate us from the member guests with different route , access , etc … again for the price I paid , it is totally not worth it , be it the property , the service , or the quality of the breakfast
Many hotels in Hakone, such as Kanaya and Hiramatsu, have been visited, but this hotel has a very good mood, because the baths are from two sources, the rooms are kept clean, and there are many children with children
Breakfast standard is way below par for this level of luxury club standard. I had much better breakfast for room half this price. They should do a lot better in the selection and quality of the breakfast

I tried to reserve dinner online, but they told me to do it upon arrival at check-in, but I think the restaurant had private seating for each room, so I was able to do that. I had a choice between 6:30 and 7:30
It was an amazing experience. Very high quality service, insanely delicious kaiseki dinner and breakfast. Booked a private onsen for 45 min, unbelievable! Very authentic. There is a staff that speaks English.
Since we were traveling with my daughters and staying on a Sunday, the communal hot spring was quiet, which was great. The hot spring water made my skin smooth
It was my first time at a ryokan. I liked the onsen too, but we didn't take the private one, but the prices were very reasonable. I wish the breakfast had more variety. The main thing is the Friendly tattoo
Since we were on a hot spring trip, the hot spring water was the most important factor in choosing a ryokan. Since the private rooms didn't have bathrooms, the price was relatively low
It’s a beautiful ryokan with a good onsen. It’s tatoo friendly, it was important for me. There were a lot of the Japaneses, so I think it is also a good sign for the place

You definitely need a car to get here, as the nearest bus stop is a 10-minute walk away
We stayed here for the second time. A nice old-fashion place. Not fancy but very comfortable, with nice baths.
The room was clean, a standard Japanese-style room, but it didn't have a private bathroom; we had to use the communal onsen for showers
Great hideout for your capers. Nice family. Bring a car; you'll need it.
The location was serene, with a lovely Japanese countryside view, and there were some good restaurants nearby. For the price, it offered great value
The room is a traditional Japanese Style. The environment was very relaxing and surrounded by nature. The hot spring was amazing with bamboo forest surrounding which gives the most calming vibe.

Parking was nearby, and the shops I wanted to visit were within walking distance. The hotel was small and cozy, and there were many foreign guests, so it felt like I was overseas
Convenient location (right next to the bus stop and sightseeing cruise departure), Mac the host was friendly and very helpful and spoke good English.
It is not easy to find fluent English speaking person but here you feel in home. You will get all tips to get around and all is relevant.
Mack is very accommodating, shares knowledge of Japan, guided us with traditional Japanese etiquette, food was good, water from Mt
hakone is better than the bottled water! 😀 place is bus accessible, close to the boats, this place is clean, and hospitable

It was truly blissful to go straight from showering to soaking in the onsen! Breakfast was delivered to a separate dining area right across from our room, with each room having its own dedicated dining space – absolutely no complaints there
The price for three people for two nights and three days was 7500 RMB. The hotel front desk staff and the ladies in charge were all very welcoming. If we had any questions, we could call our dedicated butler
Our butler told me that there were both Western and Chinese breakfast options available every day, which was a nice touch. The highlight for me was enjoying four hot spring baths during our three-day, two-night stay
I booked a room with a private onsen, and the room itself was incredibly spacious. You never have to worry about Japan's high standards for cleanliness; it was so clean and comfortable to stay in
Suimeisou's location is fantastic. For our family of three with a child, it was incredibly convenient to walk to the hotel with our luggage right after arriving at Hakone-Yumoto Station
The breakfasts for both days were different, and each meal included a vegetable salad, grilled fish, eggs, and more. They were small, individual portions, but very filling

We had a great experience there. Our room it was huge and clean, had a balcony, dinner room, tatami bedroom and a complete bathroom. We took a bus to get there, the road was auper tight and without sidewalk, a bit scary
Even tons of snacks to take for free as much as you want! FREE drinks, FREE unlimited alcohol (wine, sparkling wine, plum wine, sake, spirits etc). Public onsen INCLUDED, available till midnight
And honestly this hotel was the cheapest available for my dates. Despite of what people say: The rooms ARE spacious. The receptionist was very nice. Yukata, toiletries are all free to take
I've read many negative reviews on this hotel, but I don't see why. There are tons of amenities which many hotels of this price lack (i paid around 28000 jpy per night)
Who are those people complaining???!!! Amazing place!
Location: on Google map it shows you that walking to Hakone Yumoto station from this hotel only takes about 20 mins. But be minded you need to climb a great amount of stairs to do so if you plan to walk there and back

A true Japanese experience. The onsen was amazing, we were a family and loved it. We also had a great experience with breakfast and dinner, very Japanese! Totally recommend it
We loved the springs and the authentic experience. The whole hotel is designed to become a place for rest and relaxation
Dinner was great, and breakfast was a bit unusual for us, as we did not quite get the food (it was unusual for us). Overall, I would recommend staying here
The hot spring baths were a true standout—immaculately maintained and incredibly calming, with natural spring water that left us feeling refreshed
Our room blended comfort and traditional aesthetics perfectly, and the kaiseki dinner showcased refined flavors and beautiful presentation
We left with wonderful memories and would highly recommend Musashino Bekkan to anyone seeking a luxurious and authentic ryokan stay

Two different private onsen areas (reserved with only your shoes) and an amazing outside onsen with its own concealed path. Truly a remarkable building and experience
Awesome place with great service. The open-air onsen is beautiful and worth visiting
If you have the Romancecar pass, it's free. In conclusion, if I ever return to Hakone Yumoto, I will definitely stay here again. This hotel was so good, it made me completely forget about hotels in Tokyo
The room included dinner and breakfast - everything was of high quality and taste, though if you don't like the fried fish in the morning or pickled vegetables you might not like it
This was, without a doubt, the best hotel I've ever stayed at in Hakone Yumoto. First, let's talk about the location
When your taxi pulls up to the parking lot across from the hotel, a front desk staff member will come out to the taxi to help with your luggage

There is a free shuttle bus from Hakone Yumoto station to Hakone Yuyo hot spring resort which is right across the street from the hotel that we were able to use
If you have large luggage the shuttle bus doesn't work because it has no luggage storage. It was a short walk to the train to start our Hakone Loop journey
If you have any mobility concerns or a large amount of luggage, this may not be the case for you
Food was great. Room was spacious and clean.
Mountain hot spring hotel If you arrive at dusk/night, it will be difficult to determine where to park because there are a large number of Hakone Yuryo parking spaces next to the hotel
We loved having our own onsen to enjoy and it was wonderful to enjoy traditional meals

An old man received me when I checked in that day. Although he had an accent in English, it did not affect communication and understanding at all, and there was no communication difficulty
The dormitory is a mixed room for six people, mainly occupied by European and American backpackers. There is a male and female bathroom on each floor, as well as two shower rooms. The guests are relatively friendly
It's a good place, for the first time I managed to live in a traditional Japanese style, I liked everything, I advise everyone!
I originally thought that the Hakone Onsen Hotel was too expensive and the cost-effectiveness of traveling alone was not high, so I chose a youth hostel. The experience of 3 days and 2 nights was more than I expected
This is a wonderful hostel with an indoor and outdoor Onsen. It has a lovely living area and a well kitted out kitchen with free tea and coffee. The staff are all very welcoming and very helpful
Unlike hot spring hotels, they could not take a bath in the morning, but in the afternoon and evening, and they were divided into indoor and outdoor areas. I experienced it on both nights

I took off one star for cleanliness, but maybe that was because of the overall "shabby" look of the place (it shows signs of time). Anyway, the atmosphere of the place makes up for it
A wonderful hotel! The dinner was incredible: beautiful, delicious, and filling. Bring something to help your stomach digest. Wagyu, crab claws, and lots of tasty little appetizers
I really liked the hotel itself – the atmosphere, the views from the windows, the living room, and the onsen – amazing. The kaiseki is luxurious, with lots of seafood. You can spend half an hour in a private one
Perhaps it's better for the hosts to make the welcome tea, because I asked if the tea was wrapped in paper (that's how we pack our tea), and they said yes, just pour water over it. It turned out we'd brewed matcha candy
Great location, close to the train and funicular stations. There's a very pleasant park nearby, with a teahouse and workshops
An excellent hotel for complete relaxation, the room was huge by Japanese standards in a traditional style, I immersed myself in Japanese culture 😊 And dinner and breakfast were simply amazing, very tasty and very plentiful 😄 In general, if you want to soak in a hot onsen and enjoy the mountains, this hotel is perfect for this!!

For travelers without a car, I'd recommend buying food before checking in, as you can cook your own meals here
If you're not driving, please, please be very careful not to get off the train in the wrong direction! We came down from Owakudani by train and got off at Naka-Gora
The hotel's location is excellent, just about 200 meters from the left exit of Gora Station. However, the hotel signs aren't very clear, and we had to look for a while before we were sure we'd found it
After entering, we had to wait quite a bit before someone came to assist us, which was a bit inconvenient. The room was spacious, but the hot spring bath wasn't very big
Overall, it's still worth recommending for a one-night stay, especially since the price isn't expensive
So, a word of caution: if you're coming down by train from the Owakudani direction, always exit on the right side! This was the most expensive hotel we booked during our trip to Japan. There were almost no shops nearby

Highly recommended, traditional Japanese style hotel with silk soup. The hotel offers two time slots for dinner at 6pm and 6:30pm every night, and two time slots for breakfast at 8:00am and 8:30am
The service was very good and the food was delicious It's a little far from the train station, about 10 minutes' walk It will be a little inconvenient if you bring an elderly person Tidy and worth recommending
If you see the standard of their meals, you will understand why they require exact meal times, because their meals are not business hotel buffets, but Kaiseki cuisine level
The room is very big, very quiet, has a separate hot spring bath, very clean, the dinner is amazing, I like it very much, the landlady is very gentle and kind
The Japanese-style room was damp and cold, but when I tried to turn on the air conditioner for heating, I could smell mold, maybe it hadn't been cleaned
In addition, it is best to check in at 3-5pm in the afternoon, but you should be able to check in at 8 or 9pm, but dinner will be gone

A beautiful, clean, comfortable room, delicious breakfast. The hotel provides free access to the main ancient onsen building, and we were lucky to be in the onsen without any people. We had a wonderful time and relaxed
Traditional Japanese ryokan with private hot spring feed bath option. Public indoor and outdoor baths. Sit on floor while eating multicourse meal in your room. Serve by lady in kimono. Sleep on floor.
Fantastic location, just next to the bus stop. Our room is spacious, in fact is the most spacious in the annex. The breakfast is simple yet delicious. The outdoor onsen is small but the ambience is great
It was also great! Of course, there will be sound insulation problems when staying in a Japanese-style hotel, which is difficult to avoid, but overall it is very comfortable!
A very old ryokan founded in 1614, the building is from the beginning of the 20th century. Wood, everything creaks, just great. The main building is practically a museum
It's a quaint old building, but it has a nice, lived-in feel. I found it a little inconvenient that there was no toilet in the room

My only drawback was the huge number of stairs, but for those without knee problems, this isn't a problem. The hotel offers a shuttle, but only from the nearest train station and at very limited times
I wanted to book a shuttle and emailed them, but I didn't receive a response with the terms until a few days later, when I was already at the hotel. The food was wonderful—very tasty and plentiful
The location is eight minutes' drive from the station, but there is a car to pick you up. The hotel has a beautiful environment and first-class air
We had a room with a beautiful view from the window, and it was very clean. Nothing was broken or damaged. The furniture wasn't new, but that had an authentic charm
I'm leaving a review of my two-night stay alone in a double room. Location: Shinjuku - Hakone-Yumoto Station (Romancecar/1 hour 20 minutes) - Ryokan (J-Line bus/40-50 minutes). The Romancecar ride is convenient
The gas stove, air conditioner, and humidifier worked perfectly, so the room was very warm despite the cold weather

The location is not very convenient, so it is recommended to rent a car or drive yourself; The surrounding environment of the hotel is very good, and there is also a cable car; Breakfast and dinner were great, and the sushi chef was very considerate
The property was absolutely wonderful. We had the best host. The traditional, hot spring baths were wonderful That is a traditional Japanese hotel a very comfortable and welcoming, and it made for fantastic memories
A great ryokan! Dinner is long and interesting, alcohol is not included, mostly sushi, made right in front of you. A private onsen is bookable by the hour for your group, and there are only six rooms in the onsen
This ryokan is a true gem in Gora! We were looking for an authentic Japanese style inn and this did not disappoint! We came into the experience blind with almost no idea what to expect
They went out of their way to arrange vegetarian breakfast and dinner for my wife on a short notice. Private onsen after a long day was great. Dinner on both nights had different menu

There was also a hot spring for dogs! We were able to eat our meals with our dog! There was even a chair just for dogs, so he enjoyed it. We ordered a set course meal, and he happily ate it all
We also learned that they serve lunch! Next time, we would like to go with two families! The hot spring bath in the room is amazing (^^) Our dog's fur was shiny!
There were toiletries and other amenities available, which was convenient. The staff were all kind and polite
My dog's skin seemed to be in good condition afterwards
The rooms are quite small and not very relaxing, but both the large public bath and the in-room bath are hot springs, so you can soak in the pure white sulfur spring! I also liked that the food was delicious and they took a commemorative photo of us at dinner and gave it to us as a gift
We stayed overnight starting yesterday. The hotel is in a great location and is a comfortable place for families with dogs to stay! The room bath is fed by a hot spring, so we were able to relax in it

Location: On the quiet mountainside, be sure to get off at the Gora Cable Car Station on the right! Otherwise, I would be completely confused. It’s quite strenuous to go up the mountain, the slope is a bit steep😂
location along cable car from gora to sozcan station. both breakfasts and dinners excellent in traditional Japanese style. onsen keep you warm in chilly weather
Take the cable car at , get off at Kamigora Station, and get off at the right door in the direction in which the car is traveling
There is a sloped road from the parking lot to the hotel, which makes it inconvenient to push suitcases. However, the proprietress is polite and willing to help deliver the luggage to the parking lot
Apart from the disadvantage of being in a remote location and having to climb a very high mountain road, everything else is pretty good. It is very convenient to go to Sounzan on foot in ten minutes the next day
The store manager is very nice, although communication is a bit difficult. When we went there, we had no idea where the hotel was located. After calling our aunt, she immediately drove to pick us up
