If you’re planning to stay in Shinjuku, not far from Kabukicho, this hotel is definitely worth considering. As other reviewers have mentioned, the rooms are small. There’s a desk where you can pull the chair back about half a meter, and a bed that basically stretches from wall to wall. The TV is mounted on the wall as well, simply because there isn’t much space left.

The bathroom is also quite small, but perfectly adequate and even includes a bathtub. Another thing to keep in mind is the elevator: there is only one, and it can be busy during peak times. If you need to leave quickly or at a specific time, it’s something to plan for.

If that’s not a major issue for you, this is a reasonably priced hotel with clean rooms and, as is often the case in Japan, helpful and friendly staff.

Thanks, the rooms were nice.

The location is great and the facilities are complete, but the smell from the hotel restaurant is very strong, and it's not Thai food; it's a very strong spice smell that even permeates the elevator.

It's easily accessible and perfect for a stay without meals.

The hotel's location is superb! We walked and drove everywhere. It was very crowded. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this isn't the place for you. And as with all ARA hotels, everything is neat, clean, and modest.

Although it was only a short stay of one night, it was a comfortable stay.
The front desk staff were also very courteous.

I enjoyed my stay at this location. Rooms were cozy and perfect for a single traveler. Each of my family members had their own room and staff was able to put us on the same floor. I don’t mind a warmer room so the heat didn’t bother me. Location was convenient to the Shinjuku Station and I never felt unsafe. Would stay here again!

I work in the hospitality industry, and this is by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I completely agree with the other reviews. If you’re staying here during the winter season, avoid this property at all costs, it genuinely feels like you’re in a sauna.

When I called the front desk, they told us their heating system is centralized and the only “solution” was to have someone physically come to our room to open the windows for 10 minutes, and we had to be inside the room while they did it. They offered a portable cooling unit, but it barely helped, and we had to constantly refill it with water every couple of hours.

We booked two rooms, but they only provided one cooling unit, which made it even more unbearable. After traveling all the way from the U.S. and dealing with jet lag, the heat made it impossible to rest and made our stay even more exhausting.

This has been, without question, the worst hotel experience we’ve ever had. I would never recommend staying here.

The hotel is a little small but the price is good in Tokyo. The breakfast is okay with some curry foods. The breakfast is self assistant but you can order omelette, naan or porridge separately. The location is great near the subway stations. The room was very clean and can be served any day based on your request. It is a great choice if you don’t mind staying in a small room.

I booked this hotel thinking they have private rooms. The pictures looks like it, but rooms have poor privacy only separate from public by curtain. So, I told staff, but they didn’t accept pay back. Too expensive for non privacy room and very confusing.
