Centurion Hotel & Spa Ueno Station in Tokyo

I stayed here for a couple of nights, and it was definitely an interesting visit. Go for the experience of bathing naked with strangers and getting cheap beer and noodles from vending machines. Men only and little English, but it was easy enough to communicate. Smoking is permitted in the communal area of the lobby, which is a little bit of a bummer.

Excellent service all around! Every staff member was friendly and attentive. 👍 I felt very safe during my stay. My room was clean and well-arranged, with plenty of convenient space to put my belongings – it didn't feel small at all. The bed, bedding, and pillows were all great. I'm usually a very picky sleeper, but I had a fantastic night's rest. There's also a hot spring bath available, which is a nice bonus. The tea and coffee maker in the room was definitely a plus! The location is also super convenient for getting anywhere.

The location is super convenient; as soon as you step out of the hotel, you're surrounded by all sorts of restaurants and convenience stores. The room itself was very clean and comfortable, well-equipped too. The staff were really friendly and helpful, always ready to answer any questions. Highly recommend this place, I'd definitely come back!

Great location. A lot of restaurants nearby, some open till midnight. Hot spring is good. Value for the price .

As a frequent traveler to Japan, I'm quite familiar with Japanese hotels. While the room was small (which is typical for hotels in great locations), it cleverly featured bunk beds, and surprisingly, the beds were quite spacious. It was perfectly fine even with kids! The location is absolutely fantastic. As soon as you step out, there are tons of menus everywhere, and you can walk to anything you want to eat. Ueno itself is a place where you'll never struggle to find food, and personally, I think it's hard to go wrong – everything is delicious. You'll feel like your mouth and stomach aren't big enough! Although the price went up for the last two days, it was understandable given the season and crowd. After all, the location is the value. Excellent location surrounded by restaurants, convenient stores, drug stores, Ameyoko shopping street and very close to JR Ueno station (also not far from Okachimachi station). It's also very convenient if you come/go to Narita airport via Keisei line. Recommended!

Room is small, but I guess that’s average size of tokyo hotel. Amenities only basic stuffs, no face wash or toothbrush.. hairdryer very old. Onsen amenities also old and dated. Location is good in Ueno and easy to commute with public transport.
