The hotel boasts a magnificent Japanese garden with koi ponds, plants, and trees, offering a picturesque view at every turn. Each season brings a different kind of beauty. It's a truly tranquil oasis in the city, perfect for a relaxing and healing stroll.

I booked an Executive Room. While it wasn't huge, I had a nice view of Tokyo Tower. There's also an executive lounge on the first floor. The offerings weren't extensive, but it was enough to grab a quick bite.

The location is excellent, with a shuttle service that picks up and drops off right across from Shinagawa Station, making travel and shopping very convenient. It has a sizable garden that guests can explore, and there's a discount on tickets to the nearby aquarium, so there's plenty to do during your stay.

Overall good location direct access from Haneda airport.
There was shuttle bus available from Prince Hotel Shinagawa to go to this hotel within the same area.

Check in was smooth and generalities staff who helped with luggage was very friendly and helpful.

However one male front desk (not wearing glasses) staff stood out as an unexpected lousy service communication unbecoming of Japanese service excellence. Was disappointed at the way he spoke in a condescending attitude when we asked for help to make a call in Japanese to another host for booking confirmation. If he was so unhappy to help, could have asked us to approach other staff instead of the negative attitude for a reputable hotel as well as a disgrace to Japanese hospitality.

On the other hand, the male front desk staff with glasses was more friendly and approachable and even offered to upgrade our room facing Tokyo Tower when I made a repeated booking under my partner’s name

The room was very spacious and comfortable! The bedding and bathrobes were excellent, though the slippers were a bit low quality. The hotel has a large Japanese garden which is beautiful at night. It's about a 10-minute walk from Shinagawa Station, directly across the street, but there's a big slope which made it a bit tiring with luggage. However, if I were to bring my child next time, I'd probably book here again; the large room really helped me relax.

This was my first time staying in a 4-star hotel in Japan, and at 1000 yen for a twin room during the off-season, it was excellent value for money. The lobby was impressive, check-in was smooth, and the room was clean. We stayed on the 8th floor, and the view from the window was lovely. They even proactively offered us two complimentary breakfasts, which had a wide variety of options, and both the oatmeal and Western-style dishes were delicious. The only downside was the steep hill leading up to the hotel, which was a bit tough to navigate, but it was manageable. Overall, we slept very comfortably.

Staying at a five-star hotel in Tokyo for only 880 RMB in late December was an incredible deal, truly a steal! The room had a direct view of the Tokyo Tower, which was fantastic. I'll definitely choose to stay at this hotel again on my next trip to Tokyo.

The environment is good, but soundproofing is an issue. Some floors haven't been renovated yet, so the rooms are a bit old-fashioned.

This is the best value for money among the Shinagawa Prince series of hotels. Not only is it more than twice as spacious as the East Tower and N Tower, but it also boasts a massive and luxurious Japanese garden. Visiting this season, I was greeted by a touch of autumn, and walking through it was incredibly refreshing.

Facilities: The facilities are a bit old but still quite complete. However, the room type I booked didn't have a coffee machine.
Hygiene: Clean, but the room had a slight damp smell.
Environment: There's a shared garden downstairs (used by several hotels), and a Montbell outdoor store diagonally across the street, which is very convenient. There's a 7-Eleven convenience store in the lobby on the first floor.
Service: Standard.
Transportation: It's more than a 10-minute walk from Shinagawa Station (subway).
