I stayed during the very busy New Year holiday period, and overall it was a pleasant stay.
However, I would like to share one concern regarding the check-in experience at the Executive Lounge. We were seated there for about an hour, yet it seemed that the staff at the reception did not notice us and continued chatting among themselves. This was a bit disappointing and made us feel somewhat overlooked.

Fortunately, when we returned to the bell desk, Rama san kindly stepped in and handled everything for us. He completed all the necessary procedures efficiently and with genuine care. His calm and professional assistance completely changed our experience and allowed us to relax and enjoy the rest of our stay.

Even during such a busy season, Rama san’s outstanding hospitality truly stood out. The room view was beautiful, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was lovely.
Thank you to Rama san for the excellent service — he made our stay memorable.

Most of the staff was friendly. Some laughed at me in the elevator, not sure why. Hotel was doing construction on the second floor, as a result the amenities were less than great. Couldn’t find the pool, spa, and the restaurants because you have to take a whole different elevator. Had to wander around because no one really explained that well. View was amazing from the area, room view was bland. Overall not worth the price with judgy staff that think you don’t understand what they are saying, and a lackluster hotel due to renovation and lack of service. I still treated the staff with extreme respect out of courtesy.

Overall, quite satisfied. It's an older luxury hotel with direct bus services to various airports right from the premises. The lobby is spacious, though the facilities are a bit dated. The location is fairly convenient too; getting around Tokyo by taxi isn't expensive these days, even cheaper than in Korea. A taxi to Shinjuku only cost me about 40 RMB. The views are excellent!

There's really nothing around here. The hotel breakfast had limited options and wasn't good.

I wouldn’t call this a five star property… however we stayed here the day before they shut for renovations so maybe things will change.
Positives -
It is a good location if you don’t mind being away from central Tokyo. The shopping nearby is very good with lots of food options too.
The room was a nice size and clean. Good view of rainbow bridge.
Negatives -
There is a bad smell when you walk in and they have tried to cover it with perfume, our bathroom had a similar sewage smell.
We called to ask about luggage forwarding and were told they don’t assist with it, we stayed in smaller and less “luxury” properties and staff were much more helpful.
We didn’t get to experience breakfast as the queue was so big we gave up. You have to pay extra to enter the pool which I think is not right.

As much I would love to write 100% positive there was one thing I was not satisfied about. Despite being Loyal Hilton member I request for higher floor which is the least they could do but they put me on lowest possible. Beside that hotel and rest of the stuff was top notch. Definitly good pick while in Tokyo

Nice hotel adjacent to a metro station with two malls close by and connected via above ground walk paths. This provides good options for dining and access going into the city. Family friendly since the two-twins rooms are allowed for 4 people. The twin beds are real twin beds so it is a tight fit for two people but it worked for medium sized family members. Great water side view of you get it. Nice executive lounge for Hilton Honors members who qualify. Nice breakfast buffet.

The hotel is ok . The room we stayed is ok and the staffs are professional . Our minus points would be the location . It might not be so convenient for those who doesn’t have car since there is nothing to do around the hotel because it is surrounded by many largest hotels.

I recently stayed at another Hilton property—this time at Hilton Tokyo Odaiba—and unfortunately, it was a stark contrast to our experience at Hilton Tokyo earlier in this trip.
The hotel is clearly in need of a refurbishment. The overall design feels dated, and for the price paid, it felt like stepping back into the 1980s. In our room (#1322), the air-conditioning vents had visible mold on the silicone, and the marble flooring in the bathroom creaked with every step. There was also a persistent drainage odor near the toilet area that remained despite multiple flushes.
Service was another major disappointment. Staff would benefit from retraining on the difference between purely transactional service and genuine hospitality. On our final night, we had planned to have dinner at a café at Decks, only to find it closed for a private event. By the time we walked to Aqua City, it was already past 8pm and all shops and eateries were closed. We returned to the hotel restaurant but found that only the buffet was available.
I then approached the front desk to ask for the room service menu and was surprised to be told to return to my room and scan a QR code. For a five-star hotel like Hilton, I would have expected a more empathetic and proactive response—especially as I was traveling with a six-year-old child who had not had dinner. Printing the menu on an A4 sheet or offering assistance would have made a significant difference. The lack of consideration was disappointing, and I ended up telling my son we would go back upstairs and see what options were available.
The one bright spot was a staff member named Yoko, who deserves special recognition. She patiently stayed on the line to help me connect to the Wi-Fi, and when she sensed I was still struggling, she personally came up to the room to resolve the issue. She clearly recognized how stressed I was, especially with no telecommunications connection, and her assistance was genuinely appreciated. Kudos to her.
On a positive note, the balcony view from our room was truly magnificent. However, the breakfast selection at the Executive Lounge was quite limited and lacked the variety we experienced at Hilton Tokyo at the beginning of our trip.
I sincerely hope the hotel will consider refurbishing the property, retraining staff, and encouraging them to put themselves in the shoes of their guests. Hospitality should go beyond transactions—empathy and initiative matter. Change would be most welcome.

The location is decent, situated in Shinjuku, but it’s not exactly in the heart of the busiest areas. If you’re planning to visit restaurants or shopping spots, be prepared for a bit of a walk daily. The lobby is beautiful, and while the onsen and sauna are small, they are quite effective. The rooms are okay, though not very modern. Breakfast was also just average and not particularly impressive, given the price.
