The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Kamitori Street, and there's a fantastic ramen shop called Akama nearby. There's a 7-Eleven downstairs, and you can walk to the Kumamon Square and Kumamoto Castle.

This is a great hotel, perfectly situated in Kumamoto city center with numerous attractions in the vicinity.

This hotel is centrally located in Kumamoto, with easy access to both bus and tram stations. There's also a convenience store conveniently located right downstairs. The rooms are slightly larger than typical hotel rooms, spotlessly clean, and fresh. The pricing is reasonable, offering excellent value for money.

It's well located and very near to Hakata station. It takes a 10 minute walk. The room is compact and has everything you need. The service is efficient and friendly. Overall it's a steal for the price paid.

Great hotel with self check in and lovely restaurant / cafe downstairs. Rooms are small but well designed at 187 tall i didnt feel squashed as rooms have high ceilings. Only down side they don’t have an ironing board to rent. Washing machines need coons, no ic.

This is a small hotel but u have everything free disposable comb toothbrush water dispenser. main good thing is very near to canal city mall 7e just below about 15 min slow walk from hakata main station oval all worth the money.

Friendly staff. If you didn’t book breakfast with your room you can’t add it at the hotel. Open plan toilet into room was odd, especially as the hi-tech toilet seat opens every time you move. Also, the concrete walls in the toilet area had holes and obviously modified areas - it looked rather unfinished. The area near the hotel is quite noisy, but inside this was muted suitably.

It had been a while since my last stay. The day-use hot springs I'd visited a few years ago were no longer available, so this time I booked an overnight stay to enjoy the bedrock bath and hot springs. Liked it so much I extended another night. Onsen is nice with outdoor pools. I used it a lot. Short walk to the beach. Breakfast buffet has good variety. Free bike rental. Good price. Slight downsides is that other than your room, the hotel has no place to work. Lounge chairs have no tables. Restaurant blocked off daytime. Also, the outside smoking area smoke sometimes seeps into the lounge area

If you are not driving car or don’t mind to walk from JR station by 11-15 minutes, it’s really to stay at mid-hill overseeing the seasides. Room is spacious with good onsen indoor & outdoor.

The location is a bit far from the beach, but the hotel's elevation advantage still offers a beautiful seaside view. Soaking in the hotel's outdoor hot spring, I surprisingly encountered a troop of monkeys moving across the roof – I have to say, it was a very unique experience.

The Single room is very spacious and the bed( small double)is consider big for one person. The hotel spa is superb and breakfast is sumptuous. You must try their weekend buffet, the spread and quality of food is good.   The only thing I find weird is that all guest must changed to the slipper the hotel provided to move around within the facilities. Anyway, overall experience is good.

I stayed here for the Hawks' spring training camp. The front desk staff were very friendly and the view from the room was great. It's located on a main road, so there are restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance, which was convenient. The bathroom and toilet are separate, and it was very clean!

The Wi-Fi at this hotel is absolutely, incredibly, unbelievably bad. It's the worst I've ever experienced in any hotel, both domestically and internationally. I couldn't even send a WeChat message. The soundproofing is also poor; I could clearly hear the sound of the next-door room's door being unlocked. The service was okay, but everything else was just so-so. I won't be staying here again.

About 10 mins walking distance from Hakata Station and nice restaurants are just opposite to the hotel. Unlimited free beer and chocolate at the lobby and 14 cans of different drinks are free and kept in the fridge in your room. Public resting balcony with designated smoking room next to the lobby and you are free to get in there 24/7.

Despite the small size, the hotel is within walking distance of the Fukuoka domestic airport. Also, their helpful staff speak good English! Perfect for foreigners!

very normal hotel and maybe a bit old. fixed bed lamps and women's onsen shelf doors are tilted. onsen hair dryer is also not of high quality. there is no lounge or desks to work in both the lobby and the bedroom so might not be suitable for business trips. im not sure why the rating is so high because nothing particularly stood out to me.

I booked the smallest room and I was surprised how functional it was! It had everything you would need. The staff and the hotel were all great. Breakfast was variable. The only drawback is that the window doesn't open and it is not transparent, so some light goes in, but it is impossible even to see outside, let alone get fresh air.

It is probably the best hotel in Karatsu city with beautiful sea view. This hotel has various facilities, including SPA, onsen and warm swimming tools etc. which is good for family taking the vocation. The buffet is also OK. However, the room rate is not cheap.
