Hotel Miyuki Beach, Onna1 / 30
8.4
Kyushu, Onna, 1583-2 Afuso 🧭 Map
Manza Beach - 47 min
You can go snorkeling directly from the hotel's small beach downstairs, but you'll need to rent a life vest. When there are fewer people, the snorkeling visibility is excellent
The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well soundproofed, so I wasn't disturbed by any outside noise. Just sitting by the window and watching the waves and the changing sky was incredibly therapeutic
They charge to rent the beach chairs and life jacket and will not allow guests to snorkel in the sea without one. The closest convenient store is a 4 minute drive or 20 minute walk
I'll definitely stay here again next year and hope the hotel adds more food and beverage choices. The 120 bus to the airport is conveniently located just across the street
The room is spotless, and there's a tatami area perfect for entertaining guests, chatting, or having tea. It's very quiet and comfortable
The hotel is a bit old, but the service is absolutely fantastic. Both the Chinese and Japanese staff are very welcoming and friendly

Kyushu, Miyazaki, Shiroura 🧭 Map
The location was great♪ Private beach right in front of the sea There is also a pool The receptionist was also very kind. The open-air bath was also nice.
Nice location and had a good view of the beach. Onsen was nice.
Hotel is located just right in front of the ocean with private beach and summer pool. Rooms are a bit outdated but well kept over the time. very good hotel for summer holiday.
Im in the hotel and not able to use the pool or beach facilities (with some trouble was able to rent two chairs). The hotel is in the middle of nowhere so outside the "resort" months
But the rooms are quite big for japan standards. One remark for the foreigners. The outside pool and beach facilities can only be used in the holiday season month july and august
This place is too quite and is not recommended. But all rooms have great sea view but the beach is dirty.

The hotel is located right on the beach, within easy walking distance of the sea. While the hotel is quite old, the rooms are large and clean. There's a designated parking area, which is great
Very nice comfortable resport, have its own clean beach, Supporting staff. Clean room (some part looks like old but it's ok for the price you are paying)
It's old, but it has a beach and a pool, and it's also conveniently located near Kouri Island, Jangria, and the Churaumi Aquarium
Good hotel and having own beach. Meals are so delicious.room are big.
The hotel's scenery is so beautiful that you don't want to leave. Unfortunately, the hotel's floor is carpeted and has a very strong musty smell
I even bought a mildew remover and sterilized the room before I could sleep well

I was soothed by the sound of the waves and the bath. The staff were not overly attentive and were casually considerate, so I was able to enjoy a comfortable stay at the hotel. The breakfast was surprisingly delicious
Beautiful hotel on a very beautiful bay Very attentive staff always ready to help Their breakfast should be improved with a larger variety in the Western breakfast option Beach items (beds chairs umbrellas) need to be improved too Also they should provide newspapers in the morning
My husband said he didn't want to eat chicken rice, so I thought I'd have to hold back, but it was available at the breakfast buffet and the chicken broth was light, so I ate it easily even though I was full (lol)
I recently had an outstanding stay. The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, the rooms were luxurious and well-appointed, and the amenities were top-notch
The sea was right in front of me, so I was able to sit on a bench after the bath and enjoy the luxury of gazing at the sea. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful time
The attention to detail and impeccable service made my stay truly exceptional. I highly recommend for an unforgettable 5-star experience

The Rescape, Miyako Island1 / 30
9.1
Kyushu, Miyako Island, 1901-1 Nagama Gusukube 🧭 Map
The unique long beach is also nice, but there's a lot of plastic trash on it. I looked it up and found it's related to its geographical location
Only breakfast and dinner are served; you also need to make a reservation for dinner, and the prices are higher than outside. There are some free activities in the evenings that you can check out if you're interested
The southwest coast of Miyako Island is affected by the Kuroshio Current and monsoons, making it prone to washing upboard trash from overseas during winter to spring
The hotel said they have staff and volunteers to clean it up, but the trash collection speed might not be able to keep up with the rate at which it washes ashore 😂
However, the seawater is still very clean, and the photos are beautiful. Walking outside the hotel is almost impossible; you might consider renting a car or taking a taxi
From the moment you arrive, the attention to detail is evident, with beautifully designed villas that seamlessly blend modern aesthetics with natural surroundings

Spacious clean room and comfortable beds, nice staff, very good onsen on-site, BBQ dinner was not good, okay breakfast, reasonable room room rate, no complain.
We normally can't swim after having a nice breakfast. There is an airport limousine at the main entrance of the hotel, that is very convenient for us because the hotel is located on the hill slope
We used the indoor pool which comes with a outdoor jacuzzi. Regrettably, the indoor pool was not available to use until after 9:00am in the morning, that was so inconvenient for hotel guests
We eventually had the blue sky and white clouds. The room is very spacious with a nice balcony! That's most precious for our holiday. Since it was early Nov, the outdoor pool was closed
Overall speaking, this hotel is value for money if choosing to stay in Onna Village. The ocean view is spectacular. We enjoyed it so much especially on the last day of our trip
Positive view from the sea-view room Enjoyable evening activities including group dancing Few ********* visitors were present Average breakfast with long queues

Such a cute hotel with the most amazing location in Ibaruma. Not only is hotel great but the food is seriously SO good. One of the best breakfasts I have ever had. They also picked us up and dropped us off at the airport
Very clean , on the main road. Friendly staff. Room has a comfortable shower. The beach is just 2 minutes walk. Breakfast is fine . Mainly in Japanese style.
What a pleasant group of people running this small gem! They are friendly and proactive. They offer what you want before you ask for it. The establishment was clean and the food was amazing
Ishigaki Island has a quiet, untouched beauty that feels both natural and sincere. If you’re looking for a place to slow down and connect with nature and warm, simple living, Nata Beach Villa is a lovely choice
Just a five-minute walk takes you to a quiet, secluded beach where countless hermit crabs and tiny crabs scurry about. There are no crowds, no litter—just calm and purity
We can’t wait to stay there again! Thank you!

Naminoue Beach - 4 min
You have to go to the counter to exchange for new towels when there are people at the counter (15-22)
The room was just OK for cleanliness and modernization, however the large, deep tub made up for any other oddness, such as wires coming directly from a rough hole punched in the wall for this purpose
The cleanliness of the room is acceptable, there is a little blood stain on the quilt, the bathroom floor has poor drainage, water will accumulate after taking a shower, it may be so, the bathroom floor is slippery, and the quick cooker is very Oily, the frosting in the refrigerator is very thick, but the price is cheap
It is very close to Naminoue Palace, and there are indeed many custom shops nearby. If you are alone, it is not recommended to stay here. If you can accommodate the price, you can consider it
Both the room and the toilet are big. If you stay for three nights in a row, there will be no housekeeping to clean the room
Room is big but not clean enough

We initially found the hotel very charming but were soon put off by the creepy music that played on our floor 24/7. The wall papers were coming off and the linens felt most/wet.
Service nice, japanese style breakfast, a bit old style, outdoor swimming pool near beach, good for drive-in trip.
budget free hotel private beach &friendly beach staff.
The service was great! Every corner of the hotel room AND the bath area are squeakly clean. I could say that the bath area was even cleaner than most of people houses
The shower head power was incredibly strong, I could wash my hair 2x faster than normal showers! Parking area was huge and convenient
Very good hotel, near the airport, can see airport directly and sea view. Room is pretty big and facilities are brand new.

This isn't due to unsanitary conditions, but rather deterioration over time. However, the ceilings were high, and I felt comfortable lying in bed and looking up at the ceiling
A wonderful setting right in front of the ocean 😀 It's a wonderful environment where you can have the beach all to yourself
Very attentive staff, both in providing transportation and helping us with excursions. A very beautiful location, a bit isolated. Book in advance to rent a car from Ohara, otherwise, there won't be any rentals.
Not only was the shuttle to the dock provided, but I also appreciated the shopping and dining options, and the thoughtfulness of the staff
Perhaps it was because I had high expectations due to the high reviews, but the bathroom, toilet, terrace, and room doors all showed signs of wear

Jusandi, Ishigaki1 / 27

Kyushu, Ishigaki, 470 Fukai 🧭 Map
Yonehara Beach - 7 min
On our first visit, our villa had a partially obstructed ocean view, but this time there was none to speak of. That said, we enjoyed the short walk through the jungle to a small, secluded beach in a nearby cove
Jusandi occupies a plot of land not far from the sea - only a few hundred meters from the nearest beach - but from anywhere on the property, including the villas, there is essentially no sea view
What an amazing find! A paradise tucked away in the Ishigaki jungle and overlooking the sea. Our villa was large, airy and immaculate with its own outdoor pool and a large indoor tub overlooking the garden
We have never actually gone into the cave - time constraints, often-rough seas on the island's northern side, and the fact that we have already visited plenty of brilliant blue waters in places like Belize, the Philippines, and the cenotes of Mexico made it easy to pass this up
Each of the five villas has a slightly different layout dictated by the land, and on our first stay we found Maani, our one-bedroom villa, narrower and more constricted than its 60m² footprint suggested
One of Jusandi's most appealing visual elements is its architecture. The structures are predominantly white, evoking Mediterranean villages and lending the property a soothing, minimalist feel

We spent 4 lovely days on Amami island. A wonderful quiet place with amazing nature and beaches. We have been fortunate to stay at Thida moon, a simple but very cosy place. We had the freshly rebuilt suite mountain view
None the less, excellent beach view, great staff, a ver nice onsen and SAUNA (finally) and an outdoor pool
Very nice food. The room was clean and the service was very good. The staff was extremely friendly. I strongly recommend the grill at the terrace, when the weather allows. It is a but pricy, but totally worth it.
Dishes in the night is very well. just for several persons for at the same time. If dont want it use,,you can use cleaned bath tab in your room. Slow day you can keep your time sleeping with silent
This hotel is front of east side occian of amami. When you stay you charge occan view room. You will watch grate sun rising from offshore on the blue sea. The room furniture is well wood used
It’s an amazing room, we just regret the view on the parking. If you are fortunate to have a see view room, you’ll love it. Special kudos on food, everything is fresh and extremely delicate

Kyushu, Miyako Island, 817 Irabu, Aza 🧭 Map
The rooms are open and comfortable, Next time I came here in summer and was overwhelmed with the desire to enjoy the pool and private beach in my room
Rooms consists of small individual villas with private pools and patio. One of the upsides were that the best beach in Miyako is a stone’s throw away
I liked the decor of the reception, the scent and the ambiance of the bathroom, so it was a fun stay. The breakfast and dinners were also very tasty and it was good to have the half board plan
Our stay at VILLABU Resort was nothing short of exceptional. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, going out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable and enjoyable experience
It was nice to have a solid private villa. When I was there, the waves on the beach were strong, so I thought it would be better to go to another beach if you are not confident in swimming
Loved the gorgeous ocean view from the room, the spacious backyard and the pool in the backyard. The private beach was very quiet and secluded

All the staff, except for the owner and one woman, were foreigners and very friendly. However, the shower is located next to the semi-open bathtub, so the outside air blows directly into it
Dinner was an outstanding 10-course Kaiseki meal, which notably included both grilled and steamed Saga Wagyu. The culinary experience here truly outshines even establishments like Taishoya and Charakuen
This is a very traditional Japanese boutique hotel with a total of only 8 guest rooms. On the ground floor, there are four rooms equipped with private onsen baths, alongside two public hot spring baths
Each room boasts a private hot spring, and the rooms themselves are spacious and beautifully decorated. The front desk staff were exceptionally polite and proactive in assisting foreign guests
The biggest reason I chose this ryokan was the private open-air bath and kaiseki. The private open-air bath was also really nice, and I understood why the kaiseki was Michelin-rated
Our renovated room was beautifully appointed, with a private bath and lovely details. We also savored a spectacular feast of Saga beef and other fine traditional meals

Nice view, clean room and delicious food. Owner is very nice and we played hanabi with his daughter 😆. Right hand side from the beach you may found several private beach, you can feel a high privacy there
I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights in order to explore the area. We had room 7 which was a corner room with a view of the beach and a bath overlooking the beach which was absolutely wonderful
The room was very spacious and light, with all mod coms you need, even a Dyson hairdryer. It was very clean and well serviced with towels, water, coffee pods and toiletries
From the very first moment, you can feel that they care about making tourists feel comfortable. The cuisine is interesting and worth trying. I recommend booking dinner in advance. The sea view and beach are fantastic
There is really nothing but only great things to say about Seven Colors. From the great service, comfortable room to a direct access to a private beach…
The private beach is amazing. I couldn't see the stars again, but I'd like to come back.

The breakfast was really lovely. I came down a bit late, so I can’t really comment on that. So far? …everything has been so great that I’ve extended my stay
Total price? 11,000¥ with brekkie, a lot of amenities, and complimentary drinks and snacks
The entire hotel is non-smoking, and the front desk staff are also very pleasant. Cons: The Wi-Fi in the private rooms cuts out. It doesn't connect as often as you'd like. It did connect a little early in the morning
The service is incredible, the room unbelievably spacious, very clean and with a massage chair! The staff were very kind and friendly to all… The beds are massive and they’ve got nice pillows and easy to adjust air conditioning
Pros: The Japanese breakfast isn't extravagant, but it's satisfying. A variety of small side dishes, and more. Fans of Japanese food will be satisfied. The cheerful voice of the mother in the dining room
Both the front desk staff and the staff in the breakfast area were very polite and pleasant. However, there was a large gap at the bottom of the guest room door, so there was almost no soundproofing
